Great weather, great people, all the staff great you when you go past them. Really welcoming and always smiling. A few things could be better, food is not available all day even with all inclusive package. The activities are good but the sunset one could have some music playing, the dolphin one could have a little intro about the dolphins, for example why we xan only see them in the morning at a certain place, how do they live, what do they eat. Just general information would be a nice addon. The rooms aircon is more of a fan than an aircon. There were a lot of ants in our room but the staff got ride of them relatively fast. Kayaks, it would be nice to know where one can find the fishes as there were really not many. Jet was pricy but fun. The fun tube was a blast if you get the hardcore version. There are buggys that carry you around the island but you can get free bicycles if you wish. You can go to the local island but you need a paper declaring you are not going to migrate there. Also make sure sholders and knees are covered due to their religion. All in all it was fun

We had a lovely time here. The premium sunset villa room was great with much needed, effective air conditioning (and jacuzzi!) Saiful was our housekeeper and he worked hard to keep everything well stocked and clean several times a day. Everything is spaced out here so buggy rides/bikes were used to get around. We had one afternoon of torrential rain and wind but the next morning the sky was blue again and the sea calm. The food was varied with great choices at each meal. The snorkelling from the Bar Kuda was good and young reef sharks and rays could be seen when walking the shallows of the beach. We really wanted to see dolphins and weren’t disappointed with the ‘Lucky Dolphin Trip’ where we must have seen two hundred or so. Even though the resort was at nearly full capacity, the 3 pools and 4 bars were never crowded and the beaches had so much room. We could walk from our villa a few metres to the beach and into the sea and see plenty of fish. Water shoes needed if you haven’t got fins on. We have never seen so many crabs and enjoyed watching their antics at night time especially the hermit crabs vying for the best shells! A great introduction to the Maldives for us.

Me and my wife have chosen Canareef Resort for our honeymoon. This was 💯 right decision! The island was perfect, it is long, and thus does not feel packed with people, even when the resort is completely occupied. The service and atmosphere were amazing. Those were 8 days of pure paradise. Can totally recommend! You will experience not only the resort, which many people do, when they come to Maldives, but also the unique local nature with lakes and it's habitats, which is unique for the vacation on Maldives 💎🏝 The only few things that could be improved are bicycles - they are not in the best condition (but you can easily move around with the buggy), and the condition of the roads (it feels too bumpy, when cycling or driving with the buggy). Other than that - perfect! I'm sure, that if you choose Canareef Resort for a couple vacation - you'll definitely have no regrets!

We have just returned from two unforgettable weeks at Canareef and honestly, I could write a whole book about how beautiful this island is. Before coming here, I spent a long time searching for any negative sides of the resort, because every place usually has something… but here I found only one: no Mojito and no Sex on the Beach in the all-inclusive offer 😅 But there are plenty of other good cocktails, so even that wasn’t a problem. Apart from this tiny detail, everything was absolutely perfect. The service at the resort is on the highest level. There are around 400 employees and every single one of them is always smiling, greeting you when you walk or when you pass by on a buggy. You can really feel how much they care about the guests. A very special mention goes to DIDI — an incredibly knowledgeable, kind and helpful person. He told us so much about the resort and the local island, helped us many times, and we truly believe he deserves much more recognition at Canareef. He is amazing at snorkelling, knows exactly where to find sharks and dolphins, runs evening entertainment perfectly, he is super funny, extremely talented in drawing, and he is the only person we heard speaking German fluently. Didi definitely made our stay even more special. We also met two wonderful waiters in the Kilhi Restaurant — Lokesh and Yubaraj. Always smiling, always asking how our day was, and even when they were serving in another section, they would still come to check on us. Such lovely, kind people. And we can’t forget Wida from Kuda Bar — an amazing girl full of positive energy that spreads to everyone on the island. She is simply unforgettable 🫶 Thank you Canareef for the most magical holiday. We already miss this place and the people who made it feel like home.

Our stay at Canareef Resort from January 21st to 29th, 2026, was one of the best experiences we have had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, complete with live music, a fresh coconut, and friendly staff. ☺ The landscape was breathtaking. We stayed in villa #187, where we fell in love with every sunset. Imagine an independent villa with a direct path to the beach, surrounded by lush nature. I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff who contributed to making our stay remarkable, especially to: 1. **Tilak (Housekeeping):** It was a pleasure to meet him. He was kind, supportive, and showed genuine care, which enhanced our experience. 2. **Esther (SPA):** She had exceptional masage technique and soft hands. 3. **Sampath (IT member at Meeraa Bar):** He was extremely friendly, talkative, and supportive. Thank you for entertaining us during movie nights! 4. **Safwan (Waiter at Kilhi Restaurant):** He provided excellent service and attention. 5. **Abdul (Chef at Kilhi Restaurant):** Thank you for always trying to accommodate our personal requests. Overall, our time at Canareef Resort was unforgettable, thanks to the wonderful staff!
