For our first time in Mexico together - we had a lot of questions and did not think we would meet such a friendly and informative staff. For 7 days, every time we saw Omar, no matter what time of the day, he would greet us and let us know exactly what to expect for the dinner rush/events/expectations for the day. We ended our trip with dinner on the beach and Edwin was our server. He was so genuine & catered to our every need. We loved him so much we requested to sit in his section the very next night. Food was also outstanding. The meat was so fresh and the sides were just as delicious. Very clean & fresh eating.

Can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience at Breathless was. From the moment of arrival, staff was top notch with holding bags, getting us checked in, and making sure we had everything we needed. All the staff around the resort was on top of their game at all times. The grounds were meticulously maintained, and drinks were never more than an arms reach away. We paid for the exhale club, which was nice for a first timer in Cancun with the private concierge, snacks, and helping to coordinate my engagement. I don’t think it’s worth the money to pay this upgrade again, there just wasn’t much for the increased price. We thought the food was average, but I really didn’t go Mexico for good Italian food, so mentally I had the bar low. All the guests were wonderful, pleasant, and very accepting of my partner and I, which was a very pleasant surprise. I would 100% stay here again, maybe next time on the secrets side so that we have access to the full property. As an added bonus, this story goes with the picture below the night of our engagement…
They set this up for us last night after our dinner. We had no clue and didn’t see it and went back to our room and out to celebrate. An hour later a worker somehow finds us (likely by wandering the entire resort) and tells us to come over if we want to get photos before they break it down. They had champagne and this beautiful setup waiting for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience that evening or for this trip.

Wow. We absolutely loved it here and we are extremely picky. We've been to many all inclusive resorts and this one I would definitely come back to. Food is great for all inclusive, the service is top notch, the rooms and hotel are immaculate modern and beautiful. They have so much entertainment and great music. If you want more of a party they definitely give you that especially on weekends. It's not to the point that you need to get away from it though. Very lively, beautiful resort. We will be back.

Positives: All staff appeared truly happy and were willing to go above and beyond for us. Our favorite bartender was Daniel and Cesar made us lunch every day using the pizza oven. We loved the coffee shop and various restaurants too. Everyone was friendly, responsive, and willing to help which created such a positive and fun environment! The pool was clean and a good temperature. The beach cabanas were the nicest we have seen at a resort and we were impressed with the number of cabanas as well. Our room was very clean and the staff was accommodating for our request for more blankets and pillows!
Negatives: Unfortunately there was construction happening on our wing of the resort floor which led to a strong spray paint smell, both in the hallway and in our room for 2 of the 4 days we were at the resort. Another item we were disappointed in was the requirement of guests to "claim" chairs in the early morning both at the pool and on the beach. Towards the end of our stay, a staff member was very kind and helped us to find chairs that were vacant due to individuals claiming them and then not using the chairs. Finally, the music entertainment until 11 pm vibrated our room due to how loud it was. While some guests may enjoy that type of entertainment, it was not the most enjoyable when we tried to go to sleep early one night.

Overall I had a good time, the weather was perfect. The resort was nice and the restaurants were pretty good. The rooms were nice but the bathroom was awkward. It had a clear wall in the shower so you can see someone showering. There was a curtain you can pull in front but it didn't go all the way over. The bartenders were attentive. The selections of liquor could have been better and beer selection sucked. The nightlife was okay, it seems like the better night events were on the weekend... which i missed since i went Sunday-Friday.
