Would like to start this review with the positives. The food at this resort is excellent. We have been to couple resorts in this area over the years and the food here was excellent. The service for food and drinks was great. More so for the food and especially around dinner time. The rooms were excellent. Definitely the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in over all the Mexico trips. Double rain head shower with the glass surround was a nice touch. Okay now the negative. If you are coming for rest and relaxation this is NOT the resort for you. There is club music going all day long which during the day we would expect at an all inclusive. But at night the resort is very small and building sections 1-4 are all built around the main bar/stage area. The first night we slept there it was like trying to sleep in a nightclub in our room. It was horrible. My wife and I like to go out for dinner and have an early nights and go to bed and catch up on some rest & relaxation. So the next morning we had to beg to have our room changed to a different part of the resort. The only option they wanted to give us was $900 upgrade to stay in a better area or the resort which infuriated me. We were already staying in the ocean front (preferred) section of the resort. We Spoke to a couple people staying there and they said building 7 was quiet after 5 when they shut the pool bar down. They were right. We changed rooms and downgraded with no refund from our room so that we could get a decent nights sleep. For context, my wife and I don’t have kids so we wanted to try an adults only resort thinking that we wouldn’t hear kids screaming all day and getting splashed while hanging around the pool. If you are coming with a group of friends and looking to party I would say this is the place to go. If your coming to for rest and relaxation with your spouse I would not recommend coming here. Also if you are a light sleeper or value your sleep. Overall I will say the stay was good but I wish I did a little more research before booking. Didn’t see any reviews about it being a loud resort after 5 that’s why I wrote this review hoping I will help another couple booking there next trip.

Our stay at Breathless All-Inclusive was beyond amazing, and we can’t say enough good things about the incredible staff who made our bachelorette celebration unforgettable! First, a huge thank you to America, who worked so hard to make sure everything was absolutely perfect for our group. From coordinating thoughtful details to making sure we had special events planned just for us, she went above and beyond every step of the way. You can tell she genuinely cares about guests having the best possible experience — and thanks to her, we absolutely did. At breakfast, we were lucky enough to be welcomed by Oscar, who was warm, attentive, and made our morning feel so special (good bites restaurant) - MUST GO. He made sure we had everything we needed and created such a joyful, relaxed vibe that kicked off our day in the best way. The restaurant itself was beautiful, with a delicious breakfast spread and stunning views — but it was Oscar’s energy and kindness that really made it shine. And we can’t forget about Victor, who took incredible care of us at the pool. He was always checking in, making sure we were comfortable, and adding so much fun and positivity to our pool days. His attention to detail and friendly nature made us feel truly taken care of. From start to finish, the team at Breathless made this trip so memorable. We came to celebrate our bride-to-be, and thanks to America, Oscar, and Victor, we left with memories we’ll be talking about for years to come.

One of the biggest wastes of money it’s impressive. While the drinks and bartenders were amazing. All other staff were slower than molasses. Checking in needed a phd in Quantam mechanics to figure out, took an hour longer and they still got it wrong. Be prepared to wait 1-2hours to get a table to eat the most mediocre dishes. Everything here needs an app but the WiFi doesn’t work. That makes sense Get better value at any other resort. Stay in the hotel zone if you could.

We came to the resort with a group to celebrate birthday's and our anniversary. When we booked this trip, we made the mistake of reading the reviews and went into the trip thinking the worst...but we were pleasantly surprised from day 1...The resort is beautiful and very clean,the entire staff was amazing, friendly and so very helpful. The birthday people in our group were treated like VIP guests with awesome decorations by the pool and a champagne shower😂 There was tons to do here..the food was absolutely amazing and contrary to the horrible reviews, Not one person got food poisoning. The pools were so fun and beautiful. If you come, make sure you go see Fernando at the poolside brick oven pizza spot and ask him to hook you up with the "Mexican candy" shot🤗 I can not say enough about the care we all received from the staff, especially Angel, Polo the pool waiter, Carlos the pool concierge, Fernando, and Margarito at the poolside swim up bar. They were just amazing!! The friends we came with have been coming to this resort for 5 years and we are so excited to come back next year!!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 32nd anniversary at Breathless. The first day did not start out well, as the room we booked and paid for was not available. If it weren't for Roberto, our Xhale Concierge, our rating would not be as high. Roberto made our stay wonderful! From day one, he made sure our accommodations we top notch. He kept in contact with us every day, made our dinner reservations, and left us surprises in our room. Thank you Roberto for making our 32nd Anniversary and our vacation to Cancun a wonderful memory!
