The rooms are very nice, except one HUGE problem. There is a continuous smell of sewage coming from the shower drain. It affects the entire building. You can't get ride of it. The buffet is good and the staff are very nice throughout the resort. The beach is SUPER TINY. Getting a chair to sit in is a luxury on the beach, as they are constantly closing the energy pool for events. Pretty much the only things to do is eat and drink. I would not recommend this resort at all.

Definitely was Not as nice as pictured. Weird smell in the rooms and when the water comes on in the shower. I got serious food poisoning at one of the restaurants in the resort on my second night here. I asked to move to a different Hyatt and was told no. I asked to be able to leave because part of the cost nightly is for food and I am concerned about eating here now. It was a 5+ hour affair. Their doctor acknowledged I had food poisoning. The manager only offered to remove a penalty for cancellation. To give any refund they wanted me to provide them with vomit or feces to test - but I had to go to a hospital and I had to pay for all of the costs. Then after much back and forth They only offered to give me a third of my money back but only if I signed an NDA. It was insane. I do not recommend this hotel. If you want to be safe, have fun, and be taken care of while in Cancun do NOT stay here

The room was beautiful with a great view. The hotel is clean, modern and beautiful, the shower and pools are amazing. The food in the buffet was not the greatest, except the salad bar. The "American" food was not good. We left the buffet twice an d went to the Italian place which is the only one we could get in, the food was amazing the service was good the first 2 times, but not the last. Not much if a night life, one club, which is more like a dungeon. The sales pitch was hard ball to try and get you to join the club, was supposed to take 90 minutes, took 3 hours, with 3 different closers. Way to high pressure, was a real turn off for me and cheapened the experience. We wouldn't come back. Our first all inclusive, normally we cruise with Royal Carribean. Cruisers for Life!

Hotel had beautiful clean rooms! All the staff was so pleasant and happy to help! Loved and will miss Raymundo by the pool making drinks and making me laugh and Alexander making me delicious eggs every morning! A perfect blend of party/fun and relaxing for my spring break! There was a lot of seaweed at the beach which is obviously out of their control, but other than that very good!

Check in was 1hour. They offer discounts on excursions but the trade off is a “up to 90 min presentation” which lasted 3.5 hours. They ask if they can do lunch and learn but keep it super ambiguous until the end and when you don’t want a membership, they give lots of attitude. So far 2/2 days of our trip feels like we’ve had a couple of hours wasted. However I must say we’re quite happy with our room. Some of the employees are very kind and make you feel welcome. Make sure you have lots of dollar bills for tipping. Definitely makes an effort to be fun. The “private beach” has a lot of kids coming from the surrounding hotels/docks.
