I just returned from the most incredible vacation at the Breathless Cancún soul resort & spa in Cancun, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The resort is absolutely stunning, with pristine beaches, luxurious accommodations, and top-notch amenities, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the amazing staff—especially the bartenders Robinson, Erick, and Barrios.
These gentlemen took hospitality to the next level. Whether it was crafting delicious cocktails, remembering our favorite drinks, or simply engaging us with their friendly and upbeat personalities, they made every moment at the bar a highlight of our trip. Their energy and passion for what they do created an atmosphere of pure joy, and they made us feel like VIPs the entire time.
If you’re considering a trip to Cancun, do yourself a favor and stay here. And when you visit the bar, ask for Robinson, Erick, or Barrios—you won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to come back.

Cons:
Beach location not good. You're on a sand bar. Seaweed everywhere. The pools are far more fun with activities and parties all day.
Drainage smells. Imagine showering in a sewer. Gross. This is reason alone to not go.
Pros:
Variety of food options. Dinner restaurants are NOT gourmet, but offer a different experience from buffet.
Newer hotel looks nice and clean for now.
Fun dancing and partying in the evenings.
Rooftop infinity pool fun with great DJ.
Excellent service, well staffed.
Asada steak night was fantastic! Good Argentinian steak freshly grilled and paired with wine along with entertainers and DJ.
It's an all-inclusive with no kids in Cancun. How can you not have fun?

Our stay at Breathless Cancún has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Here’s a breakdown of the numerous issues we encountered:
1. No Hot Water: We have been here for four days, and there has been no hot water in our room since day one. Despite calling multiple times and visiting the front desk, the problem remains unresolved. To make matters worse, the front desk staff rarely answers calls, and when we went in person, they were dismissive and gave us unnecessary attitude.
2. Bar Experience: At the hotel bar, we specifically requested CasadeRoz but were served a cheap, no-name substitute without being informed. It felt like this was done intentionally to deceive us. This kind of dishonest behavior is completely unacceptable.
3. Mexican Restaurant Service: We decided to celebrate a special occasion at the hotel’s Mexican restaurant, but it turned out to be a disaster. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, we waited over an hour to be seated. The male waiter was extremely rude and forced us to order both appetizers and mains together, leaving no flexibility for us to enjoy our dining experience. This kind of treatment ruined what was supposed to be a pleasant birthday dinner for my wife.
The lack of professionalism, poor service, and complete disregard for guest satisfaction have made this stay unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and would strongly advise others to avoid it.

I have mixed feelings about the hotel. I would say that if you want to party, it is clearly the place to be. But overall, it is too pricy for what it is
Pros
- most of the staff is really nice. The doormen are the best
- Great party areas. We had a blast our first night in their nightclub
- Rooms are great, very modern with a lot of space. Bed was very comfortable
Cons
- food is pretty bad. Aside the Silk city restaurant, the quality is not good. Italian restaurant is a joke and buffet is below average
- Room service is awful. We had to wait 1h30 for 2 burgers during the night of Friday to Saturday and 1h for chicken fingers at 10pm on Saturday. And the people answering room service are pretty rude
- Their “VIP service” is a scam. Basically they tell u that you will have $200 coupon but it is really $100 for spa, $60 for food etc. But for example, their cheapest massage is $200 for 50 min which is crazy expensive. So by using their coupon, you don’t get cheaper stuff, you just end up paying the market price …
- Room cleaning needs to be rethought. One day we ask for room cleaning at 9am, we go back to the room at 1pm and the room is still dirty. The day before, we left at 6.30 am, come back at 4pm, the room is still dirty. The cleaning lady arrived at 5 but we wanted to have a nap, so our room wasn’t cleaned that day

Newer resort. Good vibe. Good food. 'Not-so picturesque' beach. Close proximity to downtown hotel zone. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Room service was hit or miss. Bar service was great, bar quality not so great (diluted drinks).
