An OK hotel. Rooms are outdated and bed can only be described as sleeping on a rock. Rooms we’re thoroughly cleaned but the carpets were filthy . Entertainment staff were amazing and the bar staff kind. Food is a hit or miss, breakfast was banging but lunch was in the hotel across the road which was unusual and i wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Dinner however did have some good things and great puddings. Drink on all inclusive were great! Lastly, check out…. Our flight was in evening so we did a pool day. Went and asked which shower we used and was told the pool one… which has cold water only… and we would have to pay €25.00 to use a towel!! SCANDALOUS. So no place to sort yourself before you leave which i have never ever experienced. Overall its decent enough for a few nights and staff genuinely are great. Location was brilliant and lots of stuff nearby.

Rated 3/5 as price we had was a good price for 3 nights all inclusive. If we had paid any more I would rate lower. The food is horrendous. Most of the options are fish so if you don't like fish there is hardly any choice. Then the pizza they always seemed to put olives on or the chicken they would put mushrooms in. Not child friendly. Why not have the meat plain then have a tray of mushrooms and olives if people want to add them. The cooking station on the 1st night was not steak or lamb or chicken etc but what looked like the cheapest beef burger you could find. Worst all inclusive I've ever been too. The day I got back I was also sick all day. I'm guessing due to the food here. A positive was the pools which were decent which if self catering would be the most important thing. Rooms were spacious and clean but very dated. This was the cheapest all inclusive in the whole of Europe for the weekend we went. You get what you pay for

We stayed in Canarife, staff were lovely, pools were nice, lots of food choices for all tastes, hotel was clean. We had views of Tiede & (just) the sea.Negative was the room albeit clean, was very tired, carpet was threadbare, furniture was damaged, fridge was not in its cabinet, curtains were stained. Much higher than the sea, but a free bus to the lower area makes it easy or there are (lots of) steps down or a taxis costing max €6.

Stopped for a week here. Had to move room as the carpet was filthy. The new room was better but from what I gather all the rooms are similar. I’ve stopped in a few blue sea hotels around Europe. They are usually pretty good. But the rooms here are very tired and has a strange old stale smell. Meaning you have to keep the balcony door open. I cannot fault the restaurants. And the service was very good with staff. The evening entertainment is very loud as it’s right next to the rooms. It’s akin to stopping in a tent right in the middle of a pop festival after 8pm. Would a recommend. Sadly not unless they refurb the rooms.

The rooms are a bit dated, especially in the Bonanza building. The breakfast is pretty basic, nothing special to write home about. It’s like a typical all-inclusive budget resort, you know? I didn’t get to try the lunch or dinner since we didn’t book them. On the bright side, the cleaning ladies were absolutely lovely! Candelaria in particular was super helpful and made sure we had clean towels and an extra trash bag for our baby’s diapers. We did manage to use the pool a few times, but we spent most of our days exploring the island. Overall, it was a decent stay, but it’s not exactly a luxury resort. If you’re looking for something budget-friendly and comfortable, this might be a good option for you. Just keep in mind that it’s not going to be a fancy place.
