The Blue Sea Beach Affiliated by Meliá all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast (7:15 to 10:30), lunch (12:30 to 14:30) and dinner (18:30 to 21:30), served buffet style at the Main Restaurant
  • A selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages served during mealtimes (including draft beer, red, rosé, white and sparkling wine, soft drinks, still water, a variety of coffees, teas, freshly squeezed orange juice and a choice of other juices)
  • Continental late breakfast served at the Main Restaurant (10:30 to 11:30)
  • Late snacks served at the Main Restaurant (21:30 to 23:00)
  • 1 dinner at the Ammos À La Carte Restaurant per stay (minimum stay of 7 nights, reservation required)
  • A wide range of spirits, aperitifs, cocktails, coffee and tea served at the Main Bar (10:00 to midnight)
  • Signature cocktails, a selection of branded spirits, local drinks, coffee, tea, soft drinks and ice cream served at Ammos Pool Bar (10:00 to 18:00)
  • Cold and hot snacks served at the Snack Bar (11:30 to 17:30)
  • Dedicated sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach

We spent a wonderful 6 days and 5 nights at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was exceptionally varied and delicious, with dishes being promptly replenished whenever something ran out. Cleanliness was consistently maintained both in the room and throughout the entire property. The staff were friendly, attentive, and respectful, contributing greatly to the pleasant atmosphere. The pools were never overcrowded, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. The only drawback we encountered was the ongoing issue with sunbed reservations. Despite clear signage asking guests not to reserve sunbed with towels, many still did so early in the morning. As a result, it was sometimes difficult to find a free sunbed—even though many of them were left unused for hours. While it’s hard to suggest an ideal solution for this, it’s unfortunate that such behavior persists despite the hotel’s efforts. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel and we would gladly return :)

Hotel Blue Sea Beach was the perfect home base for our 5 days in Crete. The staff were wonderful, and a special shout-out to Yiannis, the Food & Beverage Manager — kind, funny, and truly made our stay memorable. The hotel is beautiful, well cared for, and in a great location. We loved the variety at breakfast and dinner (half board) — no reason for anyone to complain! Entertainment each night was fun, and while the gym is small, the free weights were a nice touch. We didn’t even touch the pool because the sea is right there. And yes — the cats are adorable! For American travelers: the A/C works but it’s efficiency style, not the ice-cold blast we’re used to — just roll with it. Highly recommend this hotel!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Blue Sea Beach Affiliated by Meliá. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The manager and the entire team were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The level of service was genuinely high and made our vacation feel special. The food was absolutely amazing – varied, fresh, and full of flavor. We especially appreciated the different dining options and the care taken to present everything beautifully. If there is one small area for improvement, it would be the drinks and cocktails. While they were good, they could be even better with a bit more variety and balance in taste. Also, at times, there were some queues at the pool bar, but the staff handled them with patience and kindness, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality holiday. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ absolutely exceptional ! Top hotel! – Blue Sea Beach, Crete From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. The welcome was nothing short of exceptional, setting the tone for what became one of our best travel experiences anywhere in the world. The location is breathtaking – steps from the beach, with the soft sound of the sea in the background, and perfectly placed for exploring Crete’s beauty. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is relaxed yet refined, with every detail thoughtfully curated to make guests feel special. A special mention must go to Dimitra, the General Manager, whose kindness, communication skills, and commitment to making our stay seamless were second to none. She not only supported us in every way possible but did so with such warmth and sincerity that she became a highlight of our trip in her own right. And then there’s Eva, the lunch pool chef – witty, funny, and a ray of sunshine every single day. Her food was fantastic, but it was her charm and sense of humor that made lunch by the pool a daily joy. She truly has a gift for making people smile. We travel extensively around the globe and consider ourselves well-regaled with experiences. This was our first visit to Crete, and without hesitation, Blue Sea Beach has earned a spot in our Top 3 stays worldwide. If you’re considering coming here – do it. It’s more than just a stay; it’s an experience that leaves you feeling lighter, happier, and already planning your return.

Resort hotel located few steps away from Stalida public beach. The facilities are somewhat newly renovated, rooms are spacious and minimalistic at the same time. The breakfast offers a variety of western and local dishes, but be aware of the rush in the mornings - it feels like a vacation factory. The pools are crowded, poolside cocktails are served in paper cups, which is good for the recycling, but not incremental to the experience. If you have a all inclusive package, then eating at the buffee is financially logical, but there are so many better places on the main street to try out.
