I have mixed feelings about the TUI BLUE Princess resort. When you get there, you're awed by the beauty of the resort. It's truly magnificent. Seems like everything you would want in your stay: multiple pools, beach side access with chairs and umbrellas, all inclusive food and drink. But then you start spending some time there and the disappointment begins. We had a room with a partial sea view. It was clean and the view as expected. The TV was on the smaller side (smaller than my computer monitor), but that might not bother anybody. The service was less than stellar. Getting the server's attention to place your drink order was very challenging at times (drinks aren't self service there). At one point I had to ask the on duty manager for a drink (which he provided). I had laundry that needed to be done, and made 2 attempts to have it picked up, and it never was. Additionally there's no drink service at the included beach lounges; you have to walk back to the on premise bar to get your own drinks. The multiple pools were GREAT. But alas, all of them shut down at 18:00. Meanwhile, sundown isn't until after 21:00 during the summer. Big disappointment there. They should at least keep one pool open until later since there are SO many families there with kids. Rounding out the bottom of the list was the quality of the food; it was below average. Breakfast was good, but we were very disappointed with the quality of lunch and dinner. Be warned that if you don't speak Greek and are a foreinger you might get charged for some drinks. I sent my daughter to order me a frappe and a Shirley temple for herself. She came back saying that there was a charge for the frappe (even though I had just gotten one the day prior free of charge). I went over to the bar and ordered the frappe in Greek and asked if there was a charge; the bartender said there was no charge for natives, that they charge for foreigners. Just be warned that this might happen. Not at all what one would expect at such a beautiful resort. All in all, we left disappointed, primarily due to the food and service quality. But maybe management does this intentionally as they find it works for their targeted clientele (which seems to be Germany and Russia nationals).

The hotel is absolutely fantastic. We were accommodated in a room with private pool and the first thing you will notice is the cleanliness of the whole room and the pool. This room is perfect for a families with children. The house keeping is very careful and tries not to bother you when it’s time to clean. There are couple of restaurants where you can go and eat. The food is various and tasty. The juices and alcohols are local and they are not so bad at all, but if you want something else, you can always order and of course, pay for it. Also a lot of pool bars for drinks and quick snack. The staff there is fast and always positive. There pools are clean and some of them have water funs for the kids to play. The beach is a little bit rocky and this should be kept in mind if you are with children. The water is clean and there are always enough sun beds for everyone.

Overall, a great stay! It’s a very kid-friendly hotel. Our three year old enjoyed the swimming pools and kids activities. The food was excellent!! So much variety to choose from and absolutely delicious. The staff were very polite at the reception and at the bar near the pool.

I've just returned after a week at this resort. Hotel is very modern and pretty, it has beautiful swim ups and all resort is very clean and welcoming. This is ment yo be a 5 star rated family hotel, the food selection was poor, the quality of products was poor, the drinks were poor quality very cheap all round. Non alcoholic cocktails / beer were chargeable. We had to buy drinks from shop. Only restaurant worth eating in was green and grill. Beach had building work going on, which should have been dealt with before opening for the season, put us off sitting there. The building work of the new hotel next door is nowhere near finished and hotel block next to it, can be noisy in rooms in the morning from the workmen and machinery. I made few complaints and spoke with quite few families that said they wouldn't return. The entertainment room is small, kids are literally squeezed in front of stage dancing in front of parents chairs. Very remote hotel, All in all for whats important for my hard earned money to have a nice holiday, I was dissapointed and definitely not a 5star hotel.

From the perspective of a family of four: Hotel: beautiful and well maintained grounds, loads of clean pools with lifeguards for each. The rooms are comfortable - huge beds, fast, reliable WiFi so no need for roaming. Staff friendly & helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and the cleaners were excellent. Food: some of the other reviews complain about this and I have no idea why. It was fresh, loads of options and absolutely delicious. The earlier you get there the better - the breakfast in particular gets crowded close to when it’s closing. The staff were great too - Lemonia was particularly standout for excellent service. The only restaurant that wasn’t excellent was Green & Grill - it was extremely crowded and not enough staff so tricky to get a table and then it wasn’t cleaned & drinks weren’t served for a long time. The food was great here though. Three improvements I’d make: 1. Have a queue for Green & Grill instead of people just getting whatever table they can. 2. A lot of the high chair restraint clips were broken in all of the restaurants - this seems like a basic thing but was quite annoying for us. 3. Self service drinks - having to call a server over for drinks is inconvenient when it’s busy especially when the food is self service - why not have at least soft drinks available to self serve? Beach: nice that it’s connected to the resort. Lots of sunbeds and wooden slats across the sand making it easy to walk across. The sea is clear and nice. We were there on the opening day of the season and one area of the beach felt a bit “under construction”, hopefully it’ll be finished by summer. Excursions: we left the resort twice - once to Afytos which is a beautiful beach town and to Thessaloniki which has great culture. Both were really nice. Overall we thought it was excellent resort and had a fantastic week. Highly recommended.
