We stayed at Blue Lagoon Princess Resort as a family and overall we were very satisfied. The resort is clean, spacious, and well maintained, making it a comfortable choice especially for families with children. The rooms and common areas feel airy and uncrowded, which really adds to the relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of activities for kids, including dedicated children’s pools, which were a big plus for us. Our children were happy and entertained throughout the stay. The food was also very good, with enough variety and quality to keep everyone satisfied during the week. That said, there are a couple of points that could be improved. The swimming pools and the pool bar close at 6:00 pm, which feels quite early compared to other resorts where they usually close around 7:00 pm. This slightly limits the afternoon and early evening relaxation by the pool. Additionally, some fitness and activity sessions are scheduled during meal times. If you plan to follow the main meal schedule, it becomes almost impossible to participate in these activities without missing lunch or dinner. It felt as if TUI, which organised all the activities and entertainment, did not coordinate with the hotel at all resulting in a lack of cohesion in the daily program. Despite these minor drawbacks, we had a great family holiday and would recommend the resort, especially for families looking for a clean, comfortable place with good food and child-friendly facilities.

This is all-inclusive resort perfect for families with kids. Resort has wide range of rooms for everyone- double rooms, suites, family rooms with or without direct entrance to the outdoor pools, also rooms with private pools. Food was nice, good variety in the main restaurant. Service was always friendly and helpful. I also did massage at the hotel spa, a bit pricey, but professional and relaxing. I remove 1 star for their small warm gym. 5 people could barely fit in. Limited equipment capacity. Completely not what you would expect from 5 star resort. Good private sand beach. However, if you like to discover surroundings, this place is not for you. There is literally nothing around. No authentic Greek villagers or towns, just dusty wastelands, villas and abandoned half-ruined buildings. I wouldn't stay in this hotel for more than 1 week. We took 10 days, and in the end we and our 8-years old were very bored. There is some entertainment in the evening for kids and adults, but we didn't really like it. I don't think we will be back

A relaxing stay with room for improvement I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the people—whether staff or fellow guests—are genuinely friendly across all areas of the resort. It creates a warm and relaxed vibe that makes you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Highlights: Activities: There’s a wide variety of well-organized activities to choose from, catering to different interests and age groups. Whether you're into sports, wellness, or entertainment, there's something for everyone. However all the entertainment is more focused on the kids than adults. Food: The food was consistently tasty with a big range of options available. From local specialties to international dishes, the buffet choices were impressive. A bit limited wine range. During Greek evening there was no local Greek wine available. Pool & Beach Comfort: One of the biggest positives was the availability of sunbeds. No matter what time of day you arrived at the pool or beach, there were always free loungers available—something that’s often a challenge at other resorts. Areas for Improvement: Smoking Zones: As a non-smoker, I found the lack of designated smoking areas frustrating. People were smoking freely on the beach and in café areas, which made it uncomfortable at times. Outside Options: There’s not much to do outside the hotel if you want to explore or pop out for a change of scenery. It’s quite isolated, so you’re mostly reliant on what’s offered within the resort. Late Checkout Experience: I had requested a late checkout three months before arrival and was told it was added to my booking. I stayed in touch with reception throughout my holiday, reminding them and following up several times. However, when the time came, I was simply told “no, it’s not possible” without any explanation or effort to check availability. What made this more frustrating was that at 4 PM, the room was still unoccupied, and no reason was given—such as cleaning staff shortage or high demand. This was not during high season, and the late checkout was important due to a night flight and a long drive home. Departure Day Service: Mondays seem to be particularly busy with guest turnover. We waited 30 minutes for help with our luggage and ended up carrying it ourselves. It would be helpful if the hotel increased staffing on peak check-in/check-out days. Transfer to Airport (iTUI): The transfer experience was unacceptable. After being picked up from the hotel by van, we were dropped off in the middle of a busy street near Nea Moudania around 9 PM, with no information on how long we would be waiting. The area was poorly lit and full of traffic, raising serious safety concerns. After 45 minutes, a bus finally arrived, and we had to load our luggage from the street side while cars were constantly driving past. If someone had been hit, who would have taken responsibility? This part of the journey was chaotic and poorly managed. Final Thoughts: This hotel is a great place for a relaxing holiday, especially if you’re looking to stay within the resort and enjoy its amenities, and if you have children. However, it seems the focus is more on impressing new arrivals than ensuring departing guests leave with a lasting positive impression. A few adjustments in service, guest care, and coordination with transfer providers would make a big difference. UPDATE after Hotel Management reply related to the activities around the hotel as I think there's a small misunderstanding. By there's not much to do outside of the hotel I didn't mean places within 15-20' driving distance or organised by TUI. My husband and I organised few activities by ourselves. I meant more that when leaving the hotel, abd going by walk, there is not much to do. We went out by walk to check the area. Hence the reason for the above feedback from our side.

I had originally planned to share details on what I felt was missing for a full five-star experience. However, after an incident by the Plaza pool, my perspective changed. The lifeguard - Mr. Manos (if I recall correctly) responded immediately when my son was hurt, treated the injury with great care, and was incredibly reassuring. That kind of attentiveness and caring is exactly what defines a real five-star experience! On top of that, we were impressed by: - Very friendly service throughout the resort - from the professional, supportive reception team (Konstantinos and others) to the very friendly and responsive staff at Mylos Beach Bar (special thanks to Giorgos /the tallest gentleman/ and Dean). - A great beach keeper, Mr. George, who always ensured the sunbeds were clean and never unfairly reserved. - A great kids’ menu with child-friendly plates and options. - Very clean and well-kept rooms. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay comfortable and memorable!

Very disappointing holiday spent here expecting five star treatment and was faced with just average. The hotel itself was nothing amazing purely functional and its rooms were regular. Nothing had a wow factor. Food was good but nothing outstanding. The two a la carte restaurants were fully booked up immediately but it was the front desk service which really let the place down plus its location. Miles from anywhere with very little else to do and an average beach, this place was nothing amazing great unless one wanted a child centred holiday.
