We stayed at Hotel Best Semiramis and had a lovely experience overall. After checking in, I went back to reception as I had emailed ahead requesting a higher floor and mentioned our anniversary. Adrian at reception was absolutely amazing—very hospitable and genuinely welcoming. He immediately upgraded us to a higher floor with a larger balcony offering stunning views, and even arranged complimentary drinks to celebrate our stay. The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable. We had half board, and while it’s a busy hotel (especially during breakfast and dinner), the staff handle everything efficiently. I’d rate it more as a solid 4-star rather than 5, but it’s still great value for money. The location is excellent, and the scenery around the hotel is breathtaking. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again.

I would like to share some feedback regarding our stay. Unfortunately, we are somewhat disappointed to find that our room does not have a clothes drying rack or a heated towel rail. During the winter season, the room feels rather cool and humid, and it is difficult for our clothes to dry properly. In addition, the blankets provided are very thin for the colder months. It's not a 5stars hotel definitely, just old hotel without good service , not so bad for current price, let's say this is 4 stars outdated hotel with big rooms, nice ocean view from the high floors, good breakfast and delicious dinner. Unfortunately, sauna in SPA doesn't work, a bit disappointed since it was important for us for winter time, warm swimingpool with jacuzzi was very small and old, area around pool without any sunlight or nice view. The staff aren't not so friendly, a bit cold hospitality, you need to ask about everything as additional extras, like kettle or bathrobe and they maybe bring it to you ( the hotel, according to the info from the reception, doesn't have enough), of course for charge. Nice big bathroom but unfortunately without hair conditioner, only shampoo and shower gel... This place needs to be renovated and management needs to be improved and modernization of course required.

Zero stars! This is, without a doubt, the single worst hotel experience my partner and I have encountered in over a decade of extensive global travel, both for work and pleasure. We are frequent travellers, meaning we are accustomed to a vast spectrum of accommodations. Our professional standard for what constitutes good service is high, and this establishment failed on every conceivable level. Why: A Repulsive Discovery - The situation began late at night / early in the morning, when we discovered a severe bed bug infestation in our room. This was not a minor issue; the bed bugs were visible all over the walls, crawling along the headboard, and clearly visible on the side of the mattress. The state of the room was frankly repulsive and inexcusable for any establishment, let alone one purporting to be 5-star luxury. Hours of Indifference: The response from the hotel management upon reporting this critical health and safety issue was the most shocking part of the ordeal: 1. We immediately reported the issue to reception once discovered in the morning. 2. We were asked to wait for hours, despite the urgency of the matter. 3. After a considerable wait, and a second & a third trip back to the desk, the manager finally addressed us. 4. It took several hours and multiple frustrating back-and-forth trips to the reception desk before a room change was finally processed. Throughout this entire process, the manager's attitude was cold, dismissive, and utterly devoid of professionalism. They handled the situation as if changing our room—after we found their property infested with parasites—was a significant favor they were reluctantly granting, rather than an urgent correction owed to a paying customer. For a hotel that proudly claims a 5-star rating, the combination of a severe cleanliness breach (bed bugs) and the complete breakdown of customer service is staggering. We travel constantly, and I can state unequivocally that we have never experienced customer service this poor, not even in remote hotels in developing countries. The profound lack of urgency, respect, and ownership displayed by the management is a disgrace. Stay here at your own risk. This hotel does not deserve its rating in my opinion.

We booked via easyJet for an all inclusive 6 nights. Reception:really friendly and helpful, Gabriel gave us room 1809 and took our cases up for us ❤️. Room: walk in shower, shampoo and shower gel in room, toothbrush kit/comb/shoe shines etc. Double sink and BD, towels changed every other day (I think). Big wardrobe and plenty of storage space, free safe, tcmf in room, TV (no English channels).Fridge with 1 bottle of water and 2 other soft drinks, we didn't use these as weren't sure if they were free. Rooms were all cleaned to high standards. We had a big balcony with 2 loungers/2 chairs /1 table. The paint was peeling off the balcony every day 😔 Outside Pool:(unheated) enough loungers for the season (maybe not in high season). Geothermal pool area: nice and warm, water jets, jacuzzi , looks a bit tired , but nice enough. Pool Bar: paper cups if you're taking drinks to the pool area(to avoid breakages, very sensible). Main Bar: very nice area, plenty of seating, normal all Inc is non branded spirits (it's marked on the drinks menu). Restaurant: the food is superb, a different theme every night, bubbly at brekky every day, always hot food and plenty of choice. We did have a bad experience which is not the hotels fault and felt sorry the staff..... The hotel on the other side of the road had a 'private/public ' party on Fri and Sat night, as we were high up and the party was on their top floor , it was like we were in the party it was so loud, the first night I managed to ignore it, but the sat night was louder and we had an early drive to the airport on Sunday morning, we asked the lovely man on night duty to move us somewhere to get a few hours sleep (this was 1.30am) , he moved us to level 1 (away from noise except the sea, lovely and quiet). I felt sorry for him, as it seems the hotel have no control no matter how hard they try to put a stop to the partying over the road, I might suggest that for guests that are staying fri/sat..that the hotel face guests away from the other place?. We also had a couple next door for 2 days who argued constantly during the morning/evening and on the other side 1 lone man who was smoking 'something strong' and playing music loud (he turned the music down when we asked him to. Overall this hotel is lovely, maybe could do with a bit of maintenance in areas, lovely, helpful staff, wonderful meals, I'd definitely go here again, but not to the balcony top floor rooms facing the other hotel (rooms 1808-1811). The area is lovely, a nice walk to the old town takes about 20 mins, we came back via the 'Agatha Christie's steps. Car parking was free along the road , but quite busy, we always managed to find a space 1 street over (2 min walk). We walked to the botanical garden nearby (very pleasant). We went to the Flamenco show , which was amazing (every Thursday, get tickets from the lovely man selling the tours in reception)

My boyfriend surprised me with this vacation. Honestly, looking at the photos beforehand, I didn't have high expectations. However, to my surprise, I didn't want to leave by the last day! The hotel's location and facilities are excellent. The only area for improvement is the restaurant; the food quality could be better, and the servers seemed a bit impatient and unfriendly due to how busy they were. That said, almost all the other hotel staff were incredibly friendly and eager to help. We had so much fun playing Pétanque with other guests and the entertainer. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
