Not a 4 star hotel.
Cons: Very run down and tired. The staff vary from outright rude to can't be bothered. Many seem to have given in to their surroundings, which is a shame. A minority were pretty nice. The hygiene standards are really worrying. Roadside rooms stink of drains. Some of the hotel is filthy.
Pros: There is plenty of choice at the buffet and it's refreshed regularly. The kids had fun at the pool! The location is bang on, it's only a short walk to the beach and restaurants/shops. Plenty of pool space.
Stunned that Jet 2 rate this as 4 star given that they have an office here.
I think the hotel was built in the 80s? It has been left to rot, unfortunately. The standard hotel responses to these reviews with no action confirm that, we foolishly decided to give it a chance.

Just got back from staying here loved ever minute. When we first got there it was late but the Piano bar was still open so we could get drinks and a sandwich before bed. Check was fast and easy to do.The staff were very helpful and explained what we could get by what time. The room was amazing lovely view of mountains and you could see the sea. Good location. They have people in the Reception area offing days out.Go exploring and things like that every day.So if you want to go on an excursion , you can. Cleaning people everyday of beds made everyday. We had a bit of an accident with a broken glass. And they came and cleaned it up quickly , so the kids didn't get hurt. The entertainment when you're buy the pool , they are fun and a Energetic great with kids adults. Water aerobics water dancing. It has been an amazing trip. And we can't wait to go back.

I am going to be honest as usual.
The hotel is amazing, big massive hotel,665 rooms.
Inside the reception is amazing, huge space and the staff are amazing, reception, kitchen all very pleasant staff.
The hotel offers you drinking water from theyr bar for free..
WiFi very good along your room.
The rooms are big and clean.
The only downside I would say...the windows shits are way to thin and the outside noise can be heard inside your room.
Apart from this..I would like to thank you to all of the hotel staff.
Thank you Anna for your support and kindness.

Lovely helpful staff. Accommodation is now looking very worn and needs an update. However, beds were comfy and the room very basic. All inclusive was also very basic in what you could have and what you need to pay extra for for example courtesy tea and coffee in your room, a bottle of water and two soft drinks in the fridge. Once these had gone you had to pay to have them replenished. The food was hit and miss. They hold different themed evenings throughout the week. Some were amazing however a couple of them left you struggling to find something to eat, so for the second week we ate out on the not so good night's, which kind of defeats the purpose of all inclusive.

Feel like I have to write a review on this hotel as it was genuinely bad (although not for the reasons we were worried about when booking!).
The good - Having read previous reviews, we were surprised that we enjoyed [most of] the food. You won't get good quality bacon or sausages, but if you can get past that breakfast is decent - fresh waffles & pancakes for the littles, great fruit & bread/pastry selection, tasty mushrooms & baked tomatoes. Dinner was okay except for the Mediterranean theme evening (hummus tasted like recycled onion bhaji), Canadian potatoes lovely, fresh sardines every day & good salad selection.
The bad:
Pool areas super slippy, bad decking with nails exposed, plain dangerous.
Smell of weed on the balcony from first thing in morning through to late evening. Not what you want as a family
Staff can be unhelpful & rude. We reported no electric at 9am, went out for the day, came back at 5pm to find still no electric but no one had told us. Then had to move rooms, no apologies, no offer to help move our things. Told to ring reception when we were in new room but phone didn't work. Sigh.
Drinks are DISGUSTING! The Pepsi is flat, like syrup in a cup. The beer from the pool bars has things floating in the bottom. We stopped getting any drinks on day 2.
It's a big busy hotel with loud entertainment every evening, also lots of steps so might be difficult if with pushchair.
Definitely won't ever return to this hotel, Costa Adeje has so many better options.
