Best Jacaranda

A very quick 5 days in Tenerife at this hotel. I was booked last minute so not much else available. The room was dirty on arrival. Remnants for someone's take-away under the bed. Bits of other rubbish about. Floor filthy. Housekeeping was informed and they did come to sweep up. But first impressions do last unfortunately. The rooms are basic and dark. Not a very relaxing environment for a holiday. We did ask about paying for an upgrade, but in all honesty the upgraded room was on par with what we had, if slightly worse. So stayed put. Pool deep and not clean. Snackbar full of pigeons. Rubbish is literally blowing everywhere. We did go half board and breakfast wasnt bad, but evening meal was terrible. We are not picky eaters at all but the choice was limited and not well cooked. Drinks prices seemed reasonable. Some bars and restaurants within walking distance. Definitely would not go again. The staff were very nice and helped where they could.

Lovely hotel! We stayed on a self-catering basis as we wanted to try the restaurants around Adeje, so I can’t comment much on the hotel food. The hotel itself is really nice and well maintained. The only downside we found was that although there are several pools, only one of them was heated. With so many children around, it would have been great if a few more pools were heated. It was also difficult to get a sunbed near the heated pool, which made it harder to keep an eye on our children. The rooms are a decent size. We were upgraded to a larger room, which was lovely. The decor is slightly outdated, but considering the price, it’s not something you can really complain about. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and only wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a very pleasant experience at Hotel Best Jacaranda. The hotel is exactly as described, with a very good location, close to everything you may need during a holiday. The food was very good, varied and plentiful, with many options available every day. We also appreciated the swimming pools, especially the warm water pool for children, which was perfect for our little one. A special thank you to Ana from the reception team. She was extremely kind, helpful and professional throughout our stay. She always welcomed us with a smile, had a lot of patience and gave us many useful recommendations whenever we needed assistance. Her attitude made our stay even more enjoyable, and we truly appreciated her support. Thank you, ANA, and thank you to the Best Jacaranda team! We highly recommend this hotel.

We’ve been here last week to celebrate me and my 8yrs.old daughter birthday getaway for 6days. And all I can say it’s beyond our expectation.We had a memorable,enjoyed & relaxing holiday. Staying in hotel Best Jacaranda for all inclusives as a family makes us a stress-free budgeting with all major cost. The hotel is dated but it’s spacious,well maintained,clean, a nice beautiful pool & sunset view and it’s close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The hotel staff are friendly. The food got a wide variety in every meal for us to choose. The pool areas are nice and clean. The evening entertainment was also so entertaining especially the mini disco for kids,my daughter was excited that she always looking forward every night after our dinner. We hope to come back her again soon. We love going back to Tenerife.

Not 4* hotel! Maybe a mid 3* I understand we all have different views of hotels, and this was ours. The good points, the hotel is very pretty with a nice waterfall and pretty pools. The rooms are a nice size. The facilities in the hotel are also quite nice. Evening entertainment was ok but could have gone on for a little longer. However, We stayed here at the beginning of February for 6 nights, and to be honest I regret booking this hotel. From the beginning the check in staff were quite rude and not very polite or helpful. Our room seemed like 2 mile hike from reception due to its vast size and horrendous lifts. We had booked an all inclusive stay, but after 3 nights we demanded to lower our board plan to room only, as the food is only fit for K9 consumption and the drinks seemed watered down (only house drinks are part of the all inclusive package) water is charged at 60cents, and is not replenished at the room either. The building is in desperate need of some TLC, tiles were pealing off the bathroom, the doors were rotted , the dangerous decking by the pool was uneven and loose, there was a cockroach nest living in the decking and the ceiling above the pool bar was covered in damp and mould! *notes to the hotel* This hotel was once one of the best in south Tenerife, please maintain your building it was very disappointing seeing it in that state.
