My family and I enjoyed immensely our holidays in Bella Beach Hotel! We had a spacious family room with view to the sea with comfortable beds and balcony from where we could gaze at the wonderful sunset. Mrs. Elena, the cleaning lady, did a great job cleaning our room every day.
Meals were just great, this was probably the best food experience we ever had at a hotel restaurant so far!
I also visited the spa and booked a massage with a young therapist there, which was really relaxing and rejuvenating. I totally recommend it!
My daughter spent much of her time participating in the activities of the animation team at the pool and at the beach and had a great time with the other children there!
This is the perfect hotel for family holidays by the beach: safe, easy going, hospitable, with the most dedicated, helpful and smiley personnel you will come across ever!

Bella Beach Hotel shows all the signs of neglect. Age itself is not necessarily an issue if proper maintenance is carried out, but this was clearly not the case here. The facades have cracks, the pool seems to have missed significant upkeep for a long time, and the public restrooms are outdated and filthy. The toilets at the beach bar were clogged daily, leaving puddles of water on the floor. The outdoor bars hadn't seen a fresh coat of paint during the winter closure. In our section, a musty basement door was left open for days, revealing yellowed mattresses being moved into rooms.
Upon arrival, we found an open wine bottle in the fridge, an air conditioner that sounded like a 1968 diesel truck and barely cooled, and a room that was evidently poorly cleaned. The hygiene was appalling. The floor had a brown haze and was greasy, chairs were left unmoved for a week, dead mosquitoes remained on the ceiling, and a used plaster from a previous guest stayed at eye level in our bathroom window frame for a week. Showering in a browned tub resulted in water splashing everywhere due to a poorly placed screen (4 cm from the wall), and extra towels or bath mats were unavailable. The towels we did have were thin and worn, making them practically useless, especially for guests with long hair. Only one towel per person was provided every 24 hours.
The beach bar toilets were clogged daily, leaving puddles of water on the floor. The restrooms near the restaurant, between the pool and the beach, were wet and dirty as everyone from the pool used those two toilets with wet swimwear. We never saw the public restrooms being cleaned. The sunbeds on the beach were neither cleaned nor straightened at the end of the day, leaving the area in disarray.
The service at the hotel was poor. Unlike previous experiences in Greece, where we encountered friendly and helpful people, the staff here were cold and grumpy, lacking any sense of true hospitality. There were no greetings, and at check-out, the front office didn’t inquire about our stay. When leaving the lobby, we weren’t thanked or even bid farewell. It seemed as though everyone, including the supervisors, worked reluctantly. The only exception was the spa lady who allowed us to shower on our departure day; she was friendly and helpful.
Lunch at the smaller restaurant by the pool was unappetizing, with food dumped in large trays without any care. While eating pineapple and melon, we watched the trash bin overflow, with no one addressing it. Guests looked helpless, unsure if they should add to the mess. The food in the hotel was subpar, with the only good options being pineapple and melon; the rest was tasteless, salty, or greasy. Out of our 7-day all-inclusive stay, we dined out for 6 evenings and only had lunch with pineapple and melon. We fetched our water bottles for the room and beach ourselves since the post-mix water caused immediate digestive issues. The coffee in the room was granulated, and we only received a bottle of water from the hotel on our arrival day. Making coffee or tea with tap water was not an option.
There was a lack of communication, especially regarding safety issues such as strong sea currents or the 24-hour pool closure after a child vomited in the water. A rope was placed around the pool, but no signs were posted directing guests to the other (smaller) pool on the other side of the parking lot.
The hotel complex (main building, toilets, and rooms) and the garden were poorly maintained. The contrast between the photos on the website and reality was stark. The pictures seemed AI-generated, given the huge difference. Sinks were hanging precariously as if they had been used roughly. Nothing was done to fix them, prevent stagnant water, or improve hygiene.
It’s astonishing that this hotel is still marketed as a five-star establishment. Our experience was far from that. While we made the best of our time together, this was a holiday to forget in terms of luxury and hospitality.

Very friendly staff and animation team.
The Orion and olive tree restaurants menu are very good.
For those who love good quality wine they have a wine tasting bar with a selection of local wines. The front sea room with private pool is a dream comes true that I recommend everybody to experience. The beach is beautiful with clear blue water.

We spent a weekend at this beautiful hotel. We had 2 rooms with private pool, although we were going to the beach every day ( excat opposite the hotel which also provides sunbeds ). We felt really welcomed from the hotel staff, room and public areas were super clean.
We will definitely visit this property again!

I recently visited this Hotel, it was fine. The rooms could've been cleaned better and other amenities such as shampoo wasn't provided and water wasn't provided daily, which I consider standard. Our pool needed cleaning. A few things didn't work such as the safe, toilet seat broken, key card not working & one of the rear doors not locking ( this was fixed when brought up.) I cannot fault the staff, everyone was lovely. The hotel as a whole was a bit dated as what was expected.
On our final night, the air-con stopped working.
The food was fine, we only dined at the buffet but I think more heat lamps or similar could have been used to keep the food warm rather than it going cold.
Overall, I wouldn't rate this a 5 star as advertised, but perhaps a 4 seems appropriate.
