I do love this resort. I’m even attending again in a week, but oh my gosh they do not treat black people the same as the white people on the resort. A lot of the workers were nasty to us and treated us differently than guest of other color. We even had a worker say “ we don’t know how to treat you because we aren’t used to seeing people who look like us here “ …. Colorism from people of your own color Is Baffling. All money is good money regardless of my skin tone, I’m paying you guys for good service but because I’m tan skinned my money means less, the few workers who were the sweetest people ever is the reason we choose to go back. Fix this beaches it’s a bad image.

Great experience! Nae Nae, Jose, Delly, and others were great in entertainment. The concierge service was phenomenal (they went to the local pharmacy for us). Housekeeping was excellent. Food and food service was fantastic. Would/will return in the future!

The grounds are beautifully maintained. The rooms are clean and the fridge is stocked daily with drinks. The resort is all outdoors except 2 restaurants that need reservations and your room. All other places to eat and hangout are outside. It can be miserably hot. The food is average and edible but not gourmet. The water activities are fantastic and the staff that works them are super helpful and friendly. Our biggest complaint is that there’s no place to get out of the heat in the evening except your room. It would be nice to have an indoor lounge/bar where groups could hangout together or couples/singles could meet other guests. The only other complaint we had was the sand fleas are terrible here. We each had no less than 75-100 bites on any exposed skin. Make sure you use bug spray and lay on a towel, even when on a chair while on the beach. It’s miserably itchy even a week later.

My stay at Beaches was not good at all. My first night there I walked into my room to find a COCKROACH!!! I was very nervous to keep staying in the resort but they gave us another room so I decided to stay which was a big mistake. While this is not the resorts fault the power was out due to the hurricane and the whole resort was running on a generator and there was only service in the main entrance. When we got in our new room the drain was full of hair and there was mold in the corners of the shower. My kids sleep schedule was also pretty messed up due to drunk people of all ages galavanting in the halls at all hours of the night. If u think this place couldn’t get worse oh it gets worse! On our last day me and the family went to the beach hoping to get some enjoyment out of this trip. When my daughter went into the ocean she came right back out screaming that something bit her. With further investigation we found out that she had been stung by a jellyfish. When we went to the infirmary to get her something to help the sting the nurse told us she was out of vinegar and to find something else to help it. Over all please do not stay here I’m warning.

Absolutely amazing stay. The new kids camp is amazing. The staff is so nice and engages with the kids. I truly feel like we are home while we are there. The best additions were the new kids camp and food trucks. The food trucks staff and food were beyond amazing. The jerk shop is the hidden secret with the best fish in foil ever. But the biggest shout-out goes out to the kids camp and how amazing they are so that we can truly enjoy our vacation.
