Attended a conference at this hotel. It's a nice hotel by the beach. My room has an excellent view of the sea. However, the price mentioned during online booking was much lower than actually collected. The hotel cited the difference due to tax incurred on the visitor. 🙄

This is a fairly good hotel for the rates it offers. The beach front is quiet and on good days you can catch spectacular sunsets. I particularly like the large green patch between the pool and the beach which allows you to laze on the deck chairs to soak in the warmth of morning sun.

A good hotel with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff were all pleasant. The pool was good although it was a pity the pool bar was closed and appeared as though it had been for years. Breakfast buffet was extensive with both Asian and Western options.

The reviews on this hotel are surprising. I'd say they are not from international tourists who expect more. The hotel suffers from reputation riding, but its glory days are long gone. Eg, the lifts that would have been awesome are now clunky. Rooms are just dated and uncomfortable, with cheap looking bathroom renovations. They put us in a family room facing the hills when ocean facing rooms were empty- a simple upgrade would add so much. The gym was barely passable. The pool bar was closed and 33 ringgit beer being the most expensive in Malaysia served from a side stall. Kids run amok unattended in the pool. The hotel itself was quiet but the neighbourhood had empty bars played loud music easily heard from rooms. Service was non existent. Maybe they are now geared toward conferences not tourists because that is exactly how it feels. Zero atmosphere saved by having Frandy just down the beach

The hotel was really nice. It has very nice view of the hill and the sea. It is a bit run down and some of the facilities were old but the rooms are reasonably comfortable. The food was ok. Love the relaxing atmosphere. Situated at the end of the area, it is more peaceful and quiet as it is away from the bustle. Really enjoyed my stay there
