Fun place for years. Beach is nice. But unfortunately it's old. And not being updated. Food is bland. Way to much money for old stuff. Plenty of other places on Rodney Bay to go to that's new and great food. If this place lowered the prices for what is really there that's fine. But now not worth it. I was a timeshare person for 5 yrs. With maintenance fees and nothing ever got fixed. Workers and staff are great but again unfortunately the investors are keeping all the money and not updating anything

We stayed at Bay Gardens Beach Resort around the end of October for three nights before heading to another resort on the island. Started off on the wrong foot with our room not being available for us to settle in to right away. We ended up relaxing at the restaurant for an early dinner and drinks until our room was ready two hours later. We also discovered late that night that the air conditioning was not working properly in the bedroom (we had an ocean view suite). Figured it wouldn’t be worth the hassle of changing rooms and causing a fuss since we had to get used to the temperatures anyways, we did end up reporting it at check out. Our next resort room was open-air rooms. Aside from the two inconveniences, I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff was. I never felt like we were being neglected, always was greeted when passing staff on the property. The beach was incredible and the food was top notch. The location was perfect for exploring what the north side of the island had to offer. We always felt very safe at and around the resort. I definitely would consider staying here in the future if visiting Saint Lucia again.

I am giving them a one star which I believe is too many. Absolutely no customer service. We had a reservation with them for one night in March, we were on a horse back riding tour where my son was thrown off a horse and we were taken to a emergency care clinic and then spent the day at St. Judd's hospital. They did x-rays of my 7 year olds skull but couldn't do a MRI as St. Lucia doesn't have a MRI and a CT is not good to do on the brain of a child. We were sent home to Canada so we could get the proper care he needed due to his head injury. I called the hospital the day after the incident as I was dealing with hospitals and insurance companies to get us home the day of the incident but we were within the 24hrs of cancellation. I explained the situation and I was told if I sent them the documents from the hospital they would reimburse me for our hotel stay. I sent them the documents that day. A few days later they told me that they would not reimburse but they could issue a credit for when we return. I explained that we had left the island and had no idea if or when we would ever return to St. Lucia. They then told me I need a medical certificate to get my refund. I believe that after providing multiple documents as they asked and always getting a response days later that I need to provide a new document we will never receive the refund. I understand we were 23hrs away from check in however given the circumstance and that I could provide proof of the situation they would be willing to help. Still haven't seen a credit which is no good as I will never return to St. Lucia or a refund, I am taking it as a loss.

The resort was nice. I had large king sized room with a living room and kitchen. Check in was smooth, the beach was very clean. Dinner and drinks at the restaurant were great. It's about 30 minutes from Castries but there are several nearby restaurants and a shopping mall. I deducted a star because the coffee maker hadn't been cleaned, but otherwise the room was very clean. Not a big deal.

We did an all-inclusive day pass here as a cruise excursion. Was a 20 minute drive to the resort from the cruise pier. They were very organized and check in was easy. The resort had a great beach bar and restaurant along with an amazing beach! Our kids used the water park too which was super cool.
