There were a few negatives to our stay, the location of the hotel is VERY windy, although the pool area is largely shielded from the wind. The pool is lovely but they need a better system for allocating the sun beds, the time old tradition of getting your towel down early is in full force here. The staff were for the most part very helpful and polite, with a few notable exceptions who, when faced with something they don't understand, simply shrugged their shoulders and walked off. The entertainment needs bringing in to the 21st century as well. The spa was very good too, although book your treatments before you go as it gets full up quite quickly. Having said that, the positives far out weigh the negatives. The food is the star of the show (we were all inclusive). There is a huge variety and lots of it, I don't think I had the same meal twice. Likewise the drinks choices, big brands and large measures all round, inducing cocktails. The rooms were lovely, modern and very clean. We had a wonderful (but very windy) view of the sea with a perfect sun rise every morning. Although it's a fairly big place, it gives the feel of being much smaller and quaint. We never bothered with the beach, preferring the pool but the beach is an easy walk if you want that. There's water sports too, especially wind sailing which is very popular here. There's plenty of local shops and bars close by and the Sunday market, a short cab ride away to Teguise, is very worth the trip. We enjoyed our stay very much, I'd give it a solid 8/10.

We're at the hotel at present and mid way through our 2 week stay. We're having a superb time at Barceló Teguise Beach Adult Only Hotel. The facilities are top notch, the food is simply amazing, the pool area (even at 90% hotel capacity) tends to have bed availability by the lovely pool. The biggest positive I have is the Staff. What a crew!!! They are so helpful and supportive. They work long days and maintain their high standards throughout, all with a smile, and service excellence. We'll definitely be back. Room 4 star relates to general size only. It's a little compact, but everything you need is there. The rooms are very clean and room service do a great job. We had only 1 issue with a room given to us which was close of a noisy area. The amazing staff immediately rectified that without a moments thought. Thank you team. Will

The place is lovely just a few wear and tears in the rooms. The pools are lovely. They are right by the beach as well. The views are beautiful. The bed is so comfortable. There is a good range of store, bars (including a beautiful Irish bar) and restaurant nearby. The Atlantic food is brilliant i can't fault it . The other restaurant breeze is disgusting however, i couldn't finish the food in that place. Their drinks aren't as nice as the bars next door . The staff are lovely they smile and say hello to me when I pass. It is a nice quiet hotel and it looks pretty

We arrived for our all inclusive five night stay at the Barceló and was greeted with a glass of bubbly which was lovely, our room at first glance was beautiful. The balcony with Jacuzzi and sea view was amazing and view was to die for. The room was beautiful but let down by a few wear and tears and the wall in the bedroom had some black marks on it but other than that was a lovely room. The room was tidied everyday and was restocked. The bed was very comfortable and spacious and had no problem sleeping. The infinity pool was a nice size with stunning view but the sun loungers in that area needed to have more as by the time u got up and had breakfast everyone had put towels on them claiming them. The main pool was lovely but a bit weird as it was long but thin so was quite packed and tight, again the sun loungers had been claimed by towels by early morning. The sun-beds what you pay for are nice but we got down there for 10.30-11 am and they hadn’t been cleaned and the table was dirty from the day before so that was a bit of a let down. The cocktail bar was beautiful and staff were lovely but to my personal preference not much of a choice really on their cocktails. The buffet restaurant was lovely and food was tasty with a lot of choices, breakfast was my favourite with so many choices( pastries, yogurt, granola, fruit, pancakes, crepes and full English and your continental . Dinner was great, again lots of choice’s and something for everyone. Service was great and when seated you never had to wait long for your drink order to be taken. The champs bar was great and had our lunch here everyday. Great menu and food was delicious, drinks tasty. They have a pool table, football table and always showing sports throughout the day. Most staff were pleasant but maybe a bit flat at times. Overall we had a great stay, the hotel is beautiful but just needs a bit of TLC and could be a little cleaner in places. The location is stunning with bars, restaurants, shops and a beautiful beach on your doorstep. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with is there wasn’t much entertainment put on throughout the day and only singers at night in the bars but other than that we had a pleasant stay.

The rooms are lovely with the comfiest bed we've ever slept in! There are two nice pools, one quieter area and one with activities. There is always lots of food choice, although more beer options would be nice. The Asian corner in particular is of a very high standard. The Champs bar has good entertainment later in the evenings and the staff are great. Jean Carlos was fantastic! And Sally (sorry I'm probably spelling that wrong) is an outstanding host. The one big downside is that the staff are not presently enforcing the posted rule that says beds unattended for an hour will have their towels removed. Every day I've been here there have been many beds left with belongings on them for hours and nothing is done. This was especially disappointing given that I can see that is the feedback other people have given as well but there has been no change, and being told by staff that they do when they definitely don't is very frustrating. Besides this it is perfect, so if I hear that they either enforce the rule or get more beds we will definitely return.
