I've been traveling over the past few years, and I can confidently say this hotel is truly REMARKABLE!! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional I’d especially like to commend the reception team — the first receptionist who accommodated us was incredibly helpful and allowed us to check in well before the scheduled time, which we really appreciated. That kind of flexibility is rare and made a big difference. Also, a big shoutout to the Omani staff member who was not only very friendly but also shared a lovely conversation with us — turns out his wife is based in Dubai, just like us! It’s those personal touches and genuine interactions that make a place feel welcoming and memorable. Customer service and hospitality here are top-notch. Kudos to the entire team — we’ll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel — the facilities, staff, and overall ambiance truly made for a memorable stay. Everything was well-maintained and professionally managed. The only issue I encountered was the presence of some individuals from the surrounding area who were not guests but seemed to roam around the premises and occasionally behave inappropriately, especially by flirting with other guests. I hope the hotel management will consider implementing measures to better control access and ensure the privacy and comfort of their guests.

Barcelo Mussanah is a very good property and is our to go place. We have always had great stay here anytime we are here. However this time, we had a very unpleasant experience in the Spa. My sister and I booked a 90-minute spa session as in-house guests, yesterday and unfortunately, our experience left us feeling a bit shortchanged. Our massage began promptly at 4:50 PM but concluded by 5:50 PM. When we inquired about the remaining 30 minutes of our booked time, we were informed by the masseuse that 10 minutes was allocated for "rest." While a brief period for relaxation post-massage is understandable, this explanation still leaves 20 minutes unaccounted for from our 90-minute booking. We had anticipated a full 90 minutes of treatment, and the discrepancy significantly impacted our overall satisfaction. It's disappointing when the service duration doesn't align with what was advertised and paid for. We believe that if "rest time" is part of the service, it should be clearly communicated upfront or factored into the actual treatment time, rather than presented as an explanation for a shortened session. This is a request for the management to work on the integrity of the staff to provide services as mentioned and what is being paid for. Suggestion: Please put a wall clock in Spa rooms so that guests can also check by themselves on the timings of the sessions. Regards.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent facilities, very comfy rooms, delicious food and very friendly, helpful staff. Would highly recommend, especially for those who want to stay in a resort and not venture too far from the hotel. Very reasonable rates on the water sports and the grocery store was incredibly priced compared to the UK! Would love to visit again.

Exceptional Family Experience at Barcelo Hotel! I had a truly wonderful stay at Barcelo Hotel with my family. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with such kindness and professionalism by the staff. The service was outstanding throughout our stay – everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring. One of the highlights of our visit was how family-friendly the hotel is. The children’s swimming pool was clean and very safe, with staff always present and attentive to ensure the safety of the little ones – which gave us great peace of mind as parents. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered the most breathtaking view of the ocean – waking up to that view was simply unforgettable. I also had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time – the bed was very comfortable, and the whole environment was calm and peaceful. We also appreciated the secure and convenient parking, which made things even easier for us. Overall, our stay at Barcelo Hotel was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend it to families or anyone looking for a relaxing, safe, and beautiful place to stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
