Pretty and nicely organised hotel full of green areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is great! Apart from usual and typical food you can count on something different almost every evening. The sandy beach nearby is well maintained and huge. Sunchairs are payed extra (10 eur/day). Swimming area does not collide with the water-sports area. There is well equipped mini market inside the main building and there are also other shops and restaurants within walking distance. Location close to the airport makes it easily accessible and the taxi is rather inexpensive when you pick one in front of the airport. The rooms are clean and designed in a way to provide a lot of privacy (no shared balconies, can't directly see neighbour windows, etc.). Since the hotel is neigbouring with other hotels and commonly available spaces somtimes it is hard to get a grip what is inculuded in your stay (hb, all inclusive, etc.). This could be explained.marked in a better way.

The hotel is worth its 4 stars. We have stayed 7 nights in bungalow between reception building and the ocean. It was a good and quiet location. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels on request due to ecological procedures. Fresh, tasty food and wide selection of cuisine at meals. Prompt service. Broad area occupied by the Barcelo Resorts with its attractions recommended for everyone with kilometres for walk, run and ride alongside the cost. Large beach with easy access to water. If your priority during holiday is silence choose the Adults area as the Barcelo is a paradise for children.

Great place but don't come if you have any specific food requirements. They do not label any dishes and do not cater for gluten free at all. Having said that there is plenty of salad and fish and meat cooked fresh in front of you. It just gets a bit boring after a few days as you are basically eating the same every day. While there are lots of regular desserts there is only fruit or jelly and ice-cream that is GF. Evening entertainment is good but never anywhere to sit unless you get there an hour before it starts.

Loved our stay. I'd added a little information about not being given the sea view we were promised and received a lovely message from the hotel with an apology. We will definitely return here, but hopefully in warmer weather.

PLEASE NOTE: SMOKING IS PROHIBITED EVERYWHERE Didn’t understand which bars we could order from and which ones we couldn’t. It was possible to make a reservation at the restaurant next to this hotel, but once there, almost no tables were available. A pity, because that hotel was actually much better. The reception staff were very friendly If I had known the hotel was smoke-free, I would never have chosen it. This should also have been clearly stated on the website. I won’t choose a hotel from the Barceló group again, even though they really do their best. Riu and Iberostar are better. I find it a bit of a waste of our money.
