Sorry, but not the best experience. 2 * If you're staying in a room with a pool view, avoid being above the gym. I specifically asked if it would be quiet, but at 8 AM, they have gym classes with extremely loud music that makes the walls shake! There are also a lot of hidden costs: - This 4-star hotel charges a daily fee for using the safe box. - Half board doesn't include water at dinner. - When we checked in, the receptionist told us we could rent a parking spot daily and wouldn’t be charged if we didn’t use it (they said they could verify this on CCTV). We didn’t use the parking at all, but to our surprise, we were charged for the full 8 days. After a heated discussion, the receptionist finally removed the charges. Also, don’t come 5 minutes late to breakfast just for a coffee—the waiter was rude, moved us to a different table without courtesy, and didn’t treat us kindly. (We only got in after asking if it was okay.) It would be nice if breakfast hours could be extended to 11 AM during the summer—after all, this is Spain. **Note to the hotel:** Please avoid copying and pasting generic template apologies. If you truly want to address the issue, email me privately with a compensation offer rather than just trying to look good on social media or in reviews.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Was our 3rd visit and staff still the same friendly people who can't do enough for you. Shout out and a big thank you to Juan on reception my daughter had emailed to book us a surprise anniversary day to use the Balinse sun beds and Cava with fruit. He was so helpful. And Jennie the lady in the restaurant always a smile and friendly face and remembered us from our last visit. The staff in resturant do work very hard. The spa circuit is a must..and again very friendly staff. Had a problem with card to enter room a few times but was soon sorted. Always something to choose to eat at the evening meal if abit samey on some evenings. But I think this is the case of most hotels since covid. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice... Cheese , ham . Fruits English breakfast. Even omelette & porrage. Pancakes and even smoothies. Not a large pool area only sat around pool one day the beach was virtually across road from hotel. Entertainment good on the evenings we sat in hotel but seating area not very comfortable. Hotel near to main shopping street and about 10 to 15 mins walk to Old Town and Harbour. Great adults hotel will return.

Laying in my bed on my final night here unbelievably sad to be going home. Everything exceeded my expectations at Barceló Corralejo Bay. The rooms are very large and the beds are like coulds!!! Every single member of the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We were always well taken care of. I was surprised by the range of diversity in amenities and activities offered to guests. I particularly enjoyed the ceramics class and the flamenco show. The dining hall always had a variety of option so even the pickiest of eaters (me) would not go hungry. The pools were wonderful, very relaxing and the perfect temperature. I took advantage of the spa hydrotherapy circuit which was lovely and recommendable however I do feel that all guests staying for more than 3 nights should have one free entrance to this circuit rather than it being an extra expense. Finally, a special shout out to the pool attendant, Jorge, he went out of his way to greet us each day and we really enjoyed speaking with him and getting to know him. The attention to detail and care that the staff of Barceló Corralejo Bay put into their jobs really sets it apart from other hotels. I look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful hotel and so much more. I stayed here for two weeks in June All the staff across the board are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely spacious rooms. Great size bathroom and nice sized terrance/balcony. Only a short walk and you can either go into the centre of town or the beach. Hotel is great as well for excursions as there is space outside the front for buses and minivans to collect you. I stayed half board and I cannot rate about the food enough. The best hotel restaurant I’ve eaten in. Such wide variety and everything is different each day. Fresh produce. Incredible I would stay here again in a heartbeat

The hotel is lovely and 100% worth the money. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had some issues with our room and filled it out in an internal survey and it got handled straight away by their customer experience manager (she was lovely and easy to talk to). The pool area is really nice with a bigger pool for swimming or chilling and a second pool with heated water for relaxation (has a jacuzzi in the corner as well) The lobby hosts different shows every night in terms of entertainment but we have not been there for any of them.
