I have stayed at a number of Barceló hotels and am never disappointed by the consistent standard, friendly staff, and variety of food. This hotel, however, will forever stand out for the spectacular location overlooking the Los Gigantes cliffs. The room was spacious and we paid the small extra fee for a room on the higher floors so the sea view over the pools was lovely. Definitely worth it! We booked half board as we don't drink alcohol and wanted to do some day trips out in our hire car. We paid for drinks and extra lunches we had and felt it was reasonably priced vs the All Inclusive price for which we wouldn't have got our moneys worth! Everything can be charged straight to the room to avoid carrying any money or you can pay on the spot if the preference is to control spending. We had a few days lounging around the pool and the activities were excellent! From Aqua Dance to Yoga, and darts to little games to win freebies! The team don't push you to join, as with some resorts, but there was no shortage of participants! My partner also used the gym and said it had great facilities with nice air con! The pools were lovely. There was a large pool that had a gradual slope into it, a smaller heated one that was lovely and warm on the clouder days, and a third medium sized pool which was a good depth for swimming. I find no faults with the hotel and have recommended it to numerous people who have enjoyed the many photos I have shared of the pools, sea, and incredible Los Gigantes cliffs.

The location and food are great. Plenty of choice for everyone. Rooms clean and large. The entertainment staff made the holiday! Not pushy, however fully engaged, made the classes fun, laughed a lot and the yoga classes really good. They supported the evening entertainment so well people joined in which was great. Manuel and Manu you led the team perfectly. No problems with sun beds or parasols loads available even though hotel full. However the things to note especially compared to similar star rated hotels in area; We were all inclusive so were surprised the other restaurant was not included or discounted. It was practically empty so shame they were not finding ways to get people in. Although it states there is a mini bar, it’s not stocked with anything. Again as all inclusive expected to at least have water in the room. Readily available in the bar 10 to midnight, so once we knew just had to remember to pick it up. Found meals ie seating bit chaotic especially in busy times. Trying to que for coffee machines at breakfast not great, would have been nice to have that served at table. Only have one change of pool towel, charged thereafter €2 per towel. Garden rooms and low sea view, look out on public path, pétanque and public children play area, if wanting more privacy (especially if you have jaccuzzi) don’t pay more for those. Overall we loved the location, entertainment staff and food so would go back.

What a fantastic hotel. I am currently staying here on an all-inclusive package with Jet2. The food and entertainment is excellent. Staff couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is situated on a small headland that overlooks the ocean and the Los Gigantes cliffs. Lovely views especially in the evening; the island of La Gomera is visible on clear days. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. You will have a wonderful holiday.

A stay that couldn’t have been better! Huge thanks to all the hotel staff from kitchen to housekeeping for making sure everything was super comfortable for us. And an extra big shout-out to the amazing entertainment team: Manu, Chensie, Manuel, and Leonardo – for all the fun, the games, and the awesome energy that made our trip so much more enjoyable!

Spent 10 days here with my partner mid september. Beautiful hotel with spectacular views throughout. Layout of the hotel is great with different levels and bars throughout. Towels for the pool are provided. Go all inclusive; you wont regret it ! So well worth it. Food & drinks are amazing. They have themed food each night of the week (Italian, Spanish, American etc) and music acts from 9:30 - 10:30 - 7 days a week. We really feel the atmosphere falls dead on its feet after 10:30 with not much else around and everywhere closing at 12:00pm. Would be nice to have the bar extended till later as 12pm is quite early. The animations team really make this experience. Hotel is super quiet and to be honest borderline boring without them ! There's no music/bar music throughout the day, which i feel is lacking. The animations team (Manuel, chenzi, leo & manu) are fantastic at involving all in activities if they wish to participate - games such as, water polo, yoga, aqua aerobics, darts etc - they are there 1st thing in the morning til the end of the night - they all have such individuality and are a credit to Barcelo. Bar staff are lovely and very accommodating also. Cleaners are AMAZING - spotlessly clean every day and very friendly. There is a spa / wellness area. The teams english isnt great and there were a couple of booking issues, but resolved in due course. We didn't have much interaction with the reception team, other than checking in. We did ask if one of the football matches could be put on the tv in the bar which there was issues with as they didn't have the channel. We noticed a similar issue the following day with another guest, this would be ideal for the future as it would be an option for some guests to sit at the bar watching a game and take a break away from the sun.
