Such a thoughtfully designed, beautiful hotel with friendly staff and INCREDIBLE food. We did an all inclusive and were so impressed that all the drinks were included (we’ve been on some like Club Med where only pretty poor quality drinks were included). The cocktails can vary, depending on who makes them. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had in my life! A different theme every night keeps things fresh and we looked forward to seeing the unique options each night. I had a couple of restaurant reservations - I cancelled them all because the buffet was so good The staff are so friendly and happy, from the cleaning ladies to reception to the barmen and waiters to the hype men. So lovely! The rooms are immaculate and the sea views just beautiful. Plus, those cliffs 😍😍😍 Did not stop looking at them from the moment I arrived til the moment I left. There’s never a scramble to grab a lounger by the pool, there are always plenty available. It’s really quiet and peaceful. Great entertainment throughout the day and night. Perfect location - lots to do nearby, if you want to leave this beautiful resort!

An unforgettable, beautiful, and magical stay! We couldn't speak more highly of our week-long stay at Barcelo! We came to celebrate our anniversary and soak in the views-and every expectation we had was completely exceeded. The food, the staff, and the scenery were all exceptional. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Also, we highly recommend booking a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony-it was such a treat. Every single staff member we interacted with was warm, kind, and attentive. We chose the all-inclusive option and were genuinely impressed by the quality of both the food and the drinks. We had been slightly hesitant after reading a few negative reviews, but honestly, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Some people are just hard to please so I wouldn't pay attention to those reviews. We had an unforgettable stay! Our only complaints were so minimal but I think some people would want to know. There are no all inclusive food options between 10 pm and midnight. Also, the rooms definitely have some wear and tear so if you're a perfectionist keep this in mind, but honestly it's so minimal !

Had a great time. Overall it was a very memorable and pleasurable experience. The shuttle service was efficient and friendly. Despite being one of the last to arrive at the island airport, they made sure that no one was left behind. Check in was quick. Ocean views from the rooms were amazing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The AC leaked a bit on the first day but was promptly fixed once they were made aware of it. The food options were plentiful. Each night had a different cultural theme which allows you to experience different culinary flavors. For those who are less inclined to experience the different options, they have a bit of everything and should not be an issue to find something to suit your comfort level. Food options off property are plentiful. Service was amazing. Everyone seemed genuinely happy and pleasant to interact with. From the pool to the bars and to the restaurants, it was memorable. Whether you stay nearby or take a stroll into the different areas, the surrounding areas are scenic, safe and relaxing. Prices are a bit high depending on what you’re looking for but reasonable and consistent with options off property. The property was quiet and serene. Some other reviews mentioned loud music from the city side but we didn’t really experience any of that. The on site tour booking area was very helpful in finding excursions that suit your needs and budget. It gets busy at times so you may need to wait or come back at another time. From start to finish, it was a hassle free and well enjoyed vacation. Definitely worth a look.

My husband and I visited this hotel for a week on our honeymoon and we were blown away! We had a lovely room with the jacuzzi bath outside. The room was spotless and came with your very own water bottle with full up stations dotted around the hotel. The food was amazing! And the staff especially in the restaurant were so lovely and helpful. Los gigantes is definitely the quieter end of Tenerife, ideal for those who just want to lay by a pool and recharge. We would love to go again!

Amazing hotel in beautiful location. Everything was top notch and being able to overlook the waves in the sea view room with hot tub was worth the extra cost of the room. Would highly recommend if looking for a hotel in Tenerife. The adults only part is such a good feature as I have never seen adults in holidays being as relaxed and stress free and happy. It was nice eating our meals without listening to other people's screaming toddlers which is the norm for holidays! It easily could be a 5 star hotel with a few tweaks- such as water in room and replaced daily and better wellness activities - the stretch and yoga were done by obviously inexperienced members of the team. The stretch was particularly basic and lacking any enthusiasm from the person leading. I wondered if she has just wandered in from the street and was mistaken for a fitness instructor. So I would invest in water in rooms better fruit at breakfast ( the papaya was mush) and better yoga and stretch instructors. There was plenty games and aqua classes in pool- big shout out to aqua dance and aqua spin instructors- Manuel took the aqua spin class and was a fun and lively instructor- I really enjoyed it! There was shows at night but I am not into that sort of thing so didn't see them. If I was hotel management, I would turn this hotel into more a more of a wellness holiday and invest in better yoga instructors and forgo night entertainment. People don't always go on holidays to drink and stay up late and listen to amateur music acts. Mostly, people like me go to relax and invest in their health so the hotel could lead the way by accommodating that! Overall, I would definitely return- excellent hotel!
