We loved this hotel. The weather was quite mixed for our week, so the quality of the hotel is even more important. We’d stayed in the Barcelo in Fuerteventura (Caleta de Fuste) last year, loved it, and thought we’d try Lanzarote this year. Even better. Food, service, rooms and facilities - all excellent. We had no problems at all during our stay. We didn’t need room cleaning every day - just fresh towels and shower gel towards the end of the week - housekeeping staff gave us everything on the spot. Looking forward to our return visit next year.

We stayed at Barcelo Playa Blanca for our honeymoon and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. We booked the swim-up room and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up and stepping straight into the pool felt like pure luxury. The room itself was so modern and beautifully designed. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, with so many pillows that I wanted to take them all home. I loved the open-style bathroom, and the separate toilet was such a smart touch for privacy. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the all-inclusive restaurant… wow. I’m still dreaming about that buffet. Every meal felt like a treat. We also really enjoyed the entertainment in the evenings. The only thing I’d improve is the app... the layout could be clearer. I had to ask staff to find the theatre and ended up Googling the act to know what it was about. A bit more info directly in the app would make things easier. Overall, it was the perfect place for a honeymoon, especially with the room we had. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We had 2 amazing weeks at Barceló Playa Blanca. The animation team was the best! We love them, they were so cute with my son. Barcy and the mini disco was an unforgottable experience for my 2 year old! The animation team is so cute and friendly and not even with the kids, they are always smiling and the programmes they do have high quality! Many thanks for them! 10 day break at this hotel, room was beautiful, very comfortable. Food was amazing especially for me as I'm pescitarian so fish dishes were really good with lovely sauces. Loads of choices for foodies. Staff are very good & nothing to much trouble. Fantastic location. Will be going again, highly recommended

Stayed in a Royal level room which was spacious. the hotel is less than 3 years old, very modern and right next to the Rubicon Marina. The staff are very nice, but the choice of food on the menu in the magical Restuarant is quite limted. We have stayed in other Playa Blanca Hotels that offered more variety and, in our opinion, are better value for money.
