I've been traveling over the past few years, and I can confidently say this hotel is truly REMARKABLE!! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional I’d especially like to commend the reception team — the first receptionist who accommodated us was incredibly helpful and allowed us to check in well before the scheduled time, which we really appreciated. That kind of flexibility is rare and made a big difference. Also, a big shoutout to the Omani staff member who was not only very friendly but also shared a lovely conversation with us — turns out his wife is based in Dubai, just like us! It’s those personal touches and genuine interactions that make a place feel welcoming and memorable. Customer service and hospitality here are top-notch. Kudos to the entire team — we’ll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel — the facilities, staff, and overall ambiance truly made for a memorable stay. Everything was well-maintained and professionally managed. The only issue I encountered was the presence of some individuals from the surrounding area who were not guests but seemed to roam around the premises and occasionally behave inappropriately, especially by flirting with other guests. I hope the hotel management will consider implementing measures to better control access and ensure the privacy and comfort of their guests.

-Staff were welcoming and showed great hospitality and professionalism. -free upgrades are offered upon availability,they will not second guess to make your stay memorable -Rooms are spacious and clean -One of the very few destinations in OMAN where pool and beach exists together yet it’s the most affordable one with money value guaranteed -breathtaking views with lots of green area -cabanas here and there -I was impressed by the changes they made and the continued progress they are working on -Facilities were excellent: -Supermarket with normal prices (with all essentials,souvenirs and more ….) -many games (table tennis,pool table,babyfoot,badminton,Golf,and different sport’s courts…) -gym and spa with sea view,super clean and spa price list was even cheaper than salons yet quality and experience are promising. -The cherry on the cake was the water park,small one yet was more than enough for fun,very suitable for kids and surprisingly some slides can be enjoyed by elder people. -and finally a Resort in Oman with varieties of water sports activities (extra charges of course but very affordable for extra fun (jet ski the one we tried(zero regret)) -another appreciation for every single individual working there (indoor and outdoor) dear team your efforts are seen and appreciated,with all that pressure you kept your smile and hard work,extra appreciation for those who are working under that sun,May God bless your hearts for being that much friendly with guests despite the Hot weather. Not my first time here but with the continuous improvement it became my favorite destination and I booked on spot after one week,with all this standards will make sure that this beautiful resort will become my second home whenever possible

Exceptional Family Experience at Barcelo Hotel! I had a truly wonderful stay at Barcelo Hotel with my family. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with such kindness and professionalism by the staff. The service was outstanding throughout our stay – everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring. One of the highlights of our visit was how family-friendly the hotel is. The children’s swimming pool was clean and very safe, with staff always present and attentive to ensure the safety of the little ones – which gave us great peace of mind as parents. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered the most breathtaking view of the ocean – waking up to that view was simply unforgettable. I also had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time – the bed was very comfortable, and the whole environment was calm and peaceful. We also appreciated the secure and convenient parking, which made things even easier for us. Overall, our stay at Barcelo Hotel was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend it to families or anyone looking for a relaxing, safe, and beautiful place to stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Especially Edith help at a time of need when we had no time for lunch!! she was thoughtful and kind. Diving we were very well taken care of and even saw 2 types of shark (thank you Said) in one day. Well worth the 45min speedboat ride from the Resort!
