This hotel and resort is very good, and overall our stay has been excellent. Our family is truly enjoying our time here, and we have extended our stay until Friday, 12 December 2025. The housekeeping staff are also extremely professional. However, there are a few areas where we believe improvements could enhance the guest experience. First, the breakfast menu consists almost entirely of European items. We kindly suggest that the hotel management consider including at least one or two suitable Asian/South Asian (Subcontinental) dishes. While we understand that many guests may be European, offering a more inclusive menu would better accommodate the preferences of all international visitors. Second, when I called extension 44 to request a plate, I was informed that hotel policy requires a rental fee of about three dollars for a single plate. Even after booking a royal suite for four days, being asked to rent a plate was surprising. We believe reviewing this policy would help align guest expectations with the high standards typically associated with your resort. Additionally, we feel that some of the furniture could benefit from updating. The sofa has visible spots, and the mattresses are noisy and require turning sides during the night. Addressing these issues would significantly improve comfort and overall satisfaction. We sincerely hope that the breakfast menu can be expanded to include Asian/South Asian (Subcontinental) options, NOT SOUTH INDIANS, the policy regarding cutlery and crockery reconsidered, and the furniture updated. These enhancements would make a wonderful stay even more enjoyable for all guests.

We have lovely holiday with our friends. Place is very comfy and save. Beach is really close to hotel and sea is clear like a sky. Food was great and tasty. All staff was friendly helpful especially Belal,Divash,Idaya,Lokman all of them been GREAT!! Rooms been clean and beds are very comfortable. We hope we will come back one day.

We spent a week here over Christmas and absolutely loved it. The resort is beautiful and located right by the sea, offering plenty of sports activities such as tennis, mini golf, and various water sports. The sea was warm and crystal clear. We chose the all-inclusive option and were very satisfied — even guests with gluten or lactose intolerance will always find suitable food options. Our room was spacious, with a balcony and a lovely sea view. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We also visited the fitness center and wellness area; however, we were a bit disappointed that the wellness facilities were separated into men’s and women’s areas, which meant we couldn’t go together, and the women’s section did not include saunas.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Barceló We had a wonderful experience at Barceló. The hotel was well organized, but what truly made our stay special was Ghaleb at the reception. He was professional in his dealings and very helpful. He went the extra mile to assist us in finding good connecting rooms and arranging an extra bed, which made our stay much more comfortable and convenient for our family of 8 that include 4 Adults and 4 kids. Thank you to Ghaleb. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Oman. The food was excellent throughout our visit, with a great variety and outstanding quality. The chefs were clearly very skilled, and every meal was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The service was truly amazing and made our stay even more special. A special mention goes to Asif, who looked after us during dinners and was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. His care and attention to detail really stood out and made us feel very well looked after. Overall, a fantastic experience and a hotel we would happily recommend!
