The rooms are spacious and with a balcony that faces the pool at no extra charge. The only downside is the beds are two single beds pushed together so you don’t get a double, a bit annoying. You get a fridge which is a bonus. There are 2 pools and plenty of sunbeds to go around. There is also an arcade open 24/7 I believe with some fun games and table tennis tables. Staff are really friendly and attentive. Thank you to Marcelo on entertainment who was fantastic and friendly. And Luciano at the breakfast and dinner buffet who was really friendly. Food wise- good food for a 4 star resort on a half board basis. Great variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. Not the best for a vegetarian (only pasta, pizza, potatoes, chips, fruit, veg, pastries on offer), but it’s as to expect in such a resorts. Barely any vegan options. Perhaps the hotel could improve on having more options for this. They do have milk alternatives on offer which is great. Overall, fantastic value for the price and I would stay again

Great accomodation! Winter relaxing at 23C. Food pretty good too, lots of choice. Can be a bit fraught with self service, esp. the coffee machines, but overcome eith timing. Room maids also seem to be psychic and know when you are out!!! Rooms are big, modern and well serviced. A big recommend.

This hotel is amazing it is immaculately clean and kept spotless not a bit of rubbish to be seen ..the gardens are beautifully manicured tended to everyday .. the entertainment staff were brilliant witty funny happy youngsters really attentive. The only downside which is a minimal moan.. was the coffee in the dining room it was tasteless and not enjoyable but on the bar areas it was lovely coffee. Also we were half board so paid for our drinks and they disturbed you whilst you were eating your meal to pay for them ..i think it would be better paid for after ...other than that the perfect stay ...

We booked a deluxe room in the main Barcelo Margaritas. Unfortunately their deluxe rooms are actually in a different hotel called the Royal Level. The Royal Level is a 5 minute walk from the Margaritas either out and along the road or down and up several flights of stairs. This becomes tedious when you want to use anything outside your room like the pool, breakfast or heaven forbid, get some ice. All of these things involve at least a ten minute round trip walk. We’re in our 40s and fit as fiddles so it could well be a lot more. The Royal Level has a conveniently located breakfast area and pool but despite our room being IN the RL building, we were not allowed to use RL facilities. I pointed this out to reception and they initially gave us the ‘opportunity’ to spend €500 to be able to use the facilities of the very hotel we were placed in. Nice try on the upsell but no thanks. This upsell actually was more than the difference between the regular hotel and the RL at the time of booking. They later reduced this but paying extra to use the facilities of the hotel you’re staying in, is not a great arrangement I would say. They offered a less good room in the main hotel which not surprisingly we declined. So, every single time we wanted anything outside our room, we had to schlep to the other hotel. This included breakfast every day. And ridiculously also included ice. We asked at the reception of the RL - the hotel we were put in - where we could get ice and they gleefully replied that we would need to walk to the other hotel. This speaks to how ridiculous this arrangement is but also to a lack of professionalism on the part of the staff, in particular Pedro on reception. A genuinely service-oriented receptionist here would have said ‘let me call the RL restaurant and say you’re popping over for some ice’ and actually been helpful. Instead he seemed to take great pleasure in our inconvenience. In other news, we had a terrible view of a busy road. Our bathroom was very tired - mouldy shower, damaged sink and vanity unit - see photos. I pointed these out to management. There was an offer of moving rooms but no apology. Some of the mould was dealt with during our stay but the cracked sink and damaged vanity unit remained. All the replies to us seem to have a lot of AI generated content, just like it seems to me, replies to reviews on here. All in all I would avoid booking a deluxe room in the Margaritas as you will end up being put in a hotel which you can’t fully use. And I’d avoid the hotel in general as the management don’t seem to take feedback seriously, instead seeing it as a chance to sell more of their substandard product. Some of the staff are perfectly nice and rooms were serviced daily. We parked on the street outside for free. But avoid this hotel is my advice especially if you want a deluxe room. You will feel like you’re squatting in a building that otherwise you’re entirely unwelcome in. Even if you want something as simple as…ICE.

Lovely hotel, and staff are really friendly, However, the entertainment is very poor, you pretty much entertainment yourself after your evening meal. Food - We could not fault, you could always have a plate of something to eat every night. Also different themes every night. They also have a little arcade for the kids, and they can collect tickets whilst playing, then trade them in for a prize at the end. Location- When you want to go out in the night it is a fair walk or taxi ride, to anything lively. But you do get a supermarket directly opposite the hotel. In the room- the lovely big mirror could do with some lighting as the room is very dark. There is also 2 English channels on the TV. Massive wardrobe space. Bathroom was lovely and spacious. Room key is on your wristband, which was great ( no losing it like those cards) Did have to change mine as it stopped working 5 days in, but everyone else's worked fine.
