We have just checked out after 10 days at this beautiful resort. I can’t praise the hotel highly enough, our room was absolutely beautiful and cleaned to a high standard daily. All areas of the hotel are great, and the service from the staff was impeccable. All the restaurants on site are excellent, we didn’t have one bad meal. Breakfast buffet selection is great also. The only thing that surprised me is that if you are not all inclusive, the food and drink prices are quite expensive, very much western prices and what we would expect to pay at home in the UK. However the quality of meals/drinks did fairly represent this and of course factoring in the hotel is on an island. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. We would also recommend this resort to all of our family and friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday 😊

The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful. The lush greenery everywhere makes you forget that there is an entire complex of villas and suites all over the property. The staff are so attentive to every detail from the food and beverages to the room cleaning and all the reception and support staff. Kyle over at the bar is also one of the best and friendliest bar attendants you will ever meet and he always made sure we were very well looked after! The rooms are incredible. We stayed in a suite at first and moved to a villa for the last part of our stay and had such a fabulous time! We really did not want to leave!

Our stay at Barceló Coconut Island was absolutely memorable. We booked the beachfront villa and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The resort had a calm, quiet, and peaceful vibe. The food was good, and we were pleasantly surprised they offered halal options. Overall, there was a nice variety to choose from. A special shoutout to the manager, Hasan, who was so accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. We had to leave very early for a flight, and he thoughtfully arranged for breakfast to be packed up for all of us. Such a kind and helpful gesture that we really appreciated!! He made our stay truly exceptional. Overall, such a beautiful and relaxing experience. We would definitely love to come back 🤍

Overall, this resort offers a wonderful and relaxing experience. The facilities are well maintained, the atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the location is ideal for a beachside getaway. Everything is thoughtfully designed to make guests feel comfortable and well looked after. Further, the restaurants offer a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. A special mention must go to Von at Laku Beach Club, whose service truly stood out. Von was attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our experience exceptional. From the warm welcome to the consistent attention to detail throughout our time at the beach club, the service was outstanding and made a real difference to our stay.
