Cannot fault our stay at Banyan Tree. I wish I could come back regularly. The most beautiful villas and incredible amenities. The staff are so kind and helpful, especially Anna who was available anytime to answer our questions. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Pool and beach are beautiful. We also really enjoyed the activities offered by the resort, such as the aromatherapy workshop and yoga. The service anywhere on the property is consistently 5 stars. Highly highly highly recommend.

The team at Banyan Tree Samui truly went above and beyond to make our stay feel like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully personalize to match our preferences. The level of hospitality and service was truly amazing. What impressed us most was the team genuine warmth and gracious demeanor that made our stay truly memorable. I would also like to complement Khun Apple for making sure everything ran smoothly and for always going the extra mile to make our experience truly wonderful. Her attention to detail and genuine care made such a difference in our stay. In addition I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to Wee, Tong, Ocha and Book for their outstanding service. While our overall experience was wonderful we felt our assigned Villa host was reactive than proactive. We felt that there was an opportunity for a more proactive and personable approach to further enhance the guest experience.

Magical place - ocean view is a must… the rooms are massive, high ceilings, amazing views. Service is top notch… you get hooked with a service advisor who looks after all your needs (via WhatsApp) we had Chan, and she’s absolutely wonderful. Anything you need is promptly delivered to your room. The grounds are breathtaking and views are epic from every angle. The beach is excellent and completely private. The breakfast is a must - selection is vast and the fresh fruit are to die for. Buggies are available throughout if you’re challenged walking (a lot of hills). Overall a magical place!

I've just had the most wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Samui and everything from the service to the food has been fantastic. The property itself is gorgeous, and the staff couldn't be nicer. In particular I reallt appreciated: - Having a villa host to help with queries: Abby was my villa host and she went above and beyond to make sure my husband's birthday was really special - My spa treatment was amazing, my masseuse Lek was wonderful - We had 'destination dining' on the beach on our last night and this was fantastic. The setting and food were stunning and our waitress Gafew was so hospitable and lovely. She really brought the whole evening together. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful hotel for a couple's getaway.

We spent a week at Banyan Tree Koh Samui in late October to early November for a couples’ escape, and it was exactly what we hoped for. Our Pool Villa was beautiful and spotless, with plenty of privacy, an easy 5/5. Service was the standout. Tak and the team seemed to read our minds: they remembered our coffee order and offered it the moment we sat down to breakfast; after an Elephant Sanctuary visit left our shoes muddy, someone immediately offered to clean them; and when we asked for an ice bucket one evening, they kept topping it up without us ever having to ask again. Truly top notch and worthy of 5/5. Breakfast overall was very good (4/5), with lots of fresh, high quality fruit and a solid variety. Compared with similar luxury resorts it is just shy of exceptional; a couple more made to order or rotating signature items would push it over the top. The beach setup and service were great too, easy to get loungers and quick help when needed. We also used the gym a lot and it was always clean and ready to go, with everything neatly stocked. Check in and check out were smooth, the buggy service around the resort was efficient, and WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay. All in, we loved the calm, romantic vibe and the thoughtful touches from Tak and the team. We would happily come back. Villa 5/5, Service 5/5, Breakfast 4/5.
