It was a good experience, we were accompanied by someone named Chan who was amazing throughout our stay at the hotel. We took a room with a forest view, so there were some bugs in the pool, but when we asked, they cleaned it for us. Unfortunately there is no pool cover to put on at night to prevent this. All in all a good experience, next time I will take a view of the sea and not the forest. Their Villa Wellbieng is of a high standard and we were very satisfied.

I must say that this stay and our experience was nothing short of perfection. First positive is of course the staff and service. They are incredibly kind and helpful and they go out of their way for you. Second is the room, which is a great place to stay and well designed and of course with a beautiful view. Third is the resort, which is beautiful spacious and in an excellent location nestled between two mountains. Banyan tree is exceptional and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Remarkable experience. Our Villa host Dada was exceptional and went above and beyond. Villas are beautiful and spacious with actual pool (not just a plunge). Gym and spa are first rate.
Beach is private, stunning and very swimmable. Gorgeous backdrop of lush hillside.
Breakfast buffet was delicious.
My only complaint is lack of drink service on Beach and inability to keep a tab open.
Otherwise was perfect and we felt very special to be there.

Unforgettable experience at Banyan Tree Samui! The staff pays attention to every little detail and anticipates every need and whim of their guests. We loved the little surprises left in our room every day and the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The food at Saffron was delightful. We ate lunch on the beach twice and the food was delicious and the service was so attentive. We really enjoyed the international barbecue night with fire show, even though it rained heavily that evening. The staff improvised very quickly to make sure we could still enjoy the experience. Even the most minor of cuts on the beach was given the utmost care and treatment by the staff. And the room was the most gorgeous I have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. It hurts to have to leave! We hope to come back some day.

A little bit out of town (300 baht taxi) but it’s well worth it to have a private beach, beautiful hillside accommodation and private villas. We were given an upgrade in our room to include a jacuzzi as it was our honeymoon. The team are all so lovely and accommodating.
The hotel is very relaxing, romantic and you feel quite secluded. The buffet breakfast was excellent, food down by the beach was OK. You do need to get a buggy everywhere but we never waited more than 10 minutes for one - we learnt to order it and then pack a bag/get ready.
