Came here for our Honeymoon and the villa was decorated to celebrate this. The villas are impeccable, you feel like you have the whole area to yourself. Dada our personal concierge was so helpful and made everything so accessible and easy. The morning Tai Chi session with Rang overlooking the sea was very mindful and enjoyable experience. The food at the beach bar was delicious and I can't speak enough of the breakfast at the Edge, if I could eat there multiple times a day I would. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and really made an effort to remember you and the housekeeping staff attend multiple times a day, keep everything spotless and the little touches such as lighting wax melts, pillow mists, little gifts, afternoon baked goods made each day very special. I would recommend people to stay here, I am very glad I have a few days left to enjoy this. The only thing I can say slightly negatively is that they no longer have the free shuttle but reception or your concierge can organise a taxi for you at a decent price so it isn't the end of the world.

From the smallest requests to overall comfort and attention, everything was handled with warmth, efficiency, and genuine care. A special mention to my villa host, Tak, who was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, thoughtful, and always available whenever needed. What stood out the most was her sincere hospitality — she never made anything feel like a formality. Every interaction was warm, personal, and reassuring, which made the entire stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The level of follow-up and guest care at Banyan Tree is truly impressive. They pay attention to details, remember preferences, and make you feel genuinely valued rather than just another guest. It is rare to experience hospitality that feels this personal and effortless. Grateful for such a fabulous experience and the wonderful memories created during my stay.

Had a great experience at Banyan tree, made my booking through my Chase Sapphire Reserve card. We were able to get early check in and a room upgrade at no extra cost! Big thanks to all the staff at the resort who were super friendly and helpful 24/7. Special thanks to our concierge MM which helped with all activity planning and made sure my girlfriend had a great experience on her birthday. Also, Ruang the Muay Thai coach which taught us so much about Muay Thai! I would recommend the private lesson with him. He was also very helpful and attentive anytime we were at the beach. Thank you all for a great stay!

I stayed here for only one night, but I was truly impressed by the outstanding service. Special thanks to Khun Tle, the bellman, who kindly provided transportation throughout the day. He was always smiling, friendly, and attentive, constantly checking if I needed any assistance, even though he had to drive me around several times. I would also like to thank Khun Au from the breakfast team. Her service was exceptional. As a Thai guest, She thoughtfully asked whether I would like any Thai dishes, and even offered to have the chef prepare them despite not being available on the buffet. Another special mention goes to Khun Diamond and Khun Ocha at Saffron. They gave me a very warm welcome, were always smiling, and took the time to recommend dishes and engage in friendly conversation. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. I would also like to recognize a staff member from the Recreation team. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name, but he appeared to be one of the youngest members of the team. He provided exceptional service and maintained a cheerful smile throughout the day, even while working under the hot sun. Thank you to everyone for making my stay such a memorable experience!

We had the most incredible stay at the Banyan Tree Samui, which they helped us book when our other travel plans fell through last minute. The location is perfectly serine and beautiful, the rooms and facilities are stunning and the staff is so attentive and accommodating. Our stay was capped off with the best massage ever at the absolutely amazing spa. Our therapists Massy and Plang were so talented. Both my wife and I had the best massage we can remember and would unequivocally recommend this spa and these therapists.
