The service here has been exceptional from start to finish. Every member of the staff has been warm and attentive, especially our wonderful villa host, Dada, who made sure everything during our stay was seamless. One of the highlights was an incredible boat day exploring Ang Thong National Park with Bosal. Captain Sunny and the whole crew took amazing care of us and made the experience truly unforgettable. After a little too much sun (completely our fault for not wearing enough sunscreen), we visited the spa for massages, facials, and an aloe lavender body conditioner treatment to soothe the sunburn. Nee was fantastic—so gentle and thoughtful throughout the treatment. The food has also been excellent throughout the stay—from the floating breakfast in the villa pool to beachfront dining by the water. We also had dinner at Saffron and enjoyed fantastic Thai food, especially the crab red curry, which was our favorite. On our last night, we did their destination dining—a private dinner at the infinity point. Even though it started raining, the staff kindly pushed our reservation and reset everything so we could still enjoy dinner outside. The food was delicious, and our server, Jessie, was excellent and very attentive. It was a truly special way to end our trip. Beautiful resort, unforgettable experiences, and truly outstanding people. A perfect honeymoon stay.

Came here for our Honeymoon and the villa was decorated to celebrate this. The villas are impeccable, you feel like you have the whole area to yourself. Dada our personal concierge was so helpful and made everything so accessible and easy. The morning Tai Chi session with Rang overlooking the sea was very mindful and enjoyable experience. The food at the beach bar was delicious and I can't speak enough of the breakfast at the Edge, if I could eat there multiple times a day I would. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and really made an effort to remember you and the housekeeping staff attend multiple times a day, keep everything spotless and the little touches such as lighting wax melts, pillow mists, little gifts, afternoon baked goods made each day very special. I would recommend people to stay here, I am very glad I have a few days left to enjoy this. The only thing I can say slightly negatively is that they no longer have the free shuttle but reception or your concierge can organise a taxi for you at a decent price so it isn't the end of the world.

Spent my birthday here last year. Unforgettable experience. Loving every minute of it. So many interesting activities you get to do. Feels very exclusive as probably only during dinner you actually see how many people actually stays in the property. My only regret was not staying here longer. Didnt remember how many times i told my partner that im coming back to Koh Samui just to stay here. Everyone and literally everyone was so friendly and attentive. Thai hospitality at its finest

Banyan Tree exceeded every expectation. The massages alone deserve their own five stars — they were so incredible that we ended up going three days in a row. Each session was deeply relaxing, perfectly tailored, and truly some of the best treatments we’ve ever experienced. If you only have one day, I’d recommend the Detox massage with Massy - post massage feeling zen and snatched. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Every team member was exceptionally accommodating, highly skilled, and attentive to even the smallest details. You can tell they genuinely care about guest comfort and take pride in what they do. From remembering preferences to anticipating needs before we even asked, the level of service was outstanding. We were the second highest villa on the resort which offered amazing views of Lamai! The wait for the buggies was inconsistent from what we read online! We didn’t have to wait 10-15 minutes for one, rarely would we have to 5 mins for one. This resort delivers not just luxury, but warmth, professionalism, and an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return and would recommend it without hesitation from a romantic getaway (or honeymoon) to intimate family vacation Banyan Tree delivers!

Cannot fault our stay at Banyan Tree. I wish I could come back regularly. The most beautiful villas and incredible amenities. The staff are so kind and helpful, especially Anna who was available anytime to answer our questions. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Pool and beach are beautiful. We also really enjoyed the activities offered by the resort, such as the aromatherapy workshop and yoga. The service anywhere on the property is consistently 5 stars. Highly highly highly recommend.
