I stayed here for 2 nights as a solo traveller. Was actually positively surprised by how beautiful this resort was, better than the photos which is unusual. The surroundings were amazing, beautiful low buildings and a lot lush greenery. Pool and beach area were really nice too. The only downside was (as everywhere) that hotel guests can’t behave and ”book” the sun beds early in the morning and then don’t show until later. I think the hotel could be a little more strict about that. Excellent breakfast I will definitely recommend this place as a very good option to the more expensive resorts in the neighbourhood.

We stayed at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa for 9 nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality. Every morning, we looked forward to the breakfast buffet—not just for the food, but for the lovely ambiance and the genuinely friendly staff who greeted us with smiles and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms, while slightly outdated in terms of decor, were kept very clean and were serviced almost daily, which made our stay comfortable. The pool is on the smaller side, but it was still a great spot to relax and swim—it served its purpose perfectly. One of the highlights of the resort is the beautifully maintained grounds. The lush greenery and traditional Balinese design create a peaceful, tropical atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. Another bonus is the convenience store located just across the street—super handy for grabbing essentials or snacks without having to go far. Overall, Bali Tropic Resort & Spa gave us a memorable stay, and we’d happily return for another relaxing holiday in Nusa Dua.

Big Disappointment – Not Worth the Price We booked a “luxury suite,” but the experience was far from luxurious. The hotel is old, poorly maintained, and doesn’t match the photos or descriptions online. Right from the start, the check-in was cold and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone for the stay. The room was outdated, dark, and poorly equipped, with worn-out furniture and almost no natural light. It felt gloomy and uncomfortable. For such a high price, not even a complimentary bottle of water was provided — a basic gesture you would expect in this category. The value for money was absolutely terrible. Too tired to go out, we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant — huge mistake. The food was bland, poorly presented, and completely underwhelming for a so-called luxury hotel. That said, most of the staff (aside from reception) were kind and polite, which is really the only positive thing we can mention. It was our first and definitely last time staying here. The hotel sells a dream online, but the reality is deeply disappointing. We do not recommend it.

The pleasure about this resort is the architecture, landscaping and atmosphere really makes you feel you are in Bali. The resort is compact, so you do not have to walk miles from one place to another. It has 3 main restaurants which are used differently depending on time of day or the show being presented. The beach is a pleasant bay where many watercraft play. The Indonesian staff are very friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The food was excellent, with many variety and abundance, whether buffet or ala carte. The breakfast buffet is outstanding! Additionally, there is a useful commercial area outside the resort. ATMs 5 min walk away, supermarket and restaurants directly opposite, spas, massage and more restaurants between 2 to 10 min walk away. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful relaxing atmosphere at Bali Tropic Nusa Dua, all the staff members are just beautiful & made our experience so special. We loved the tranquility of the grounds, the traditional Balinese facilities & rooms. It has a very relaxing vibe. We just arrived in Legian & regret not making our whole stay at Bali Tropic Resort. We will be back again next year ❤️
