We ended up at Bali Rani Hotel due to a flight delay—not by choice, but by circumstance. The stay was okay, though not particularly memorable. The pool area is peaceful and quiet—great if you're after relaxation, but maybe a bit too calm if you have energetic kids who want to splash and play. The rooms and furnishings are outdated and worn, clearly in need of an upgrade. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is a big plus—just a minute’s walk to Discovery Mall, money changers, marts, and local shops. The breakfast buffet was fine—not amazing, but enough to start the day. One thing to note: there’s no proper gym. Just a single treadmill and a stationary bike tucked away—not what you'd expect if you're looking to get in a real workout. Would I return? Unlikely. For the price, the value just isn’t there.

From the time we arrived we were greeted with a fabulous smile and reception explained everything we needed to know and then we were shown to our room.. Bali Rani Hotel is an older hotel but kept clean and tidy by staff. The Hotel is in close proximity to everything shopping centres Beaches etc When we told staff we were leaving the next day all staff wished safe journey and thanked us for visiting Bali... BUT we thank every staff member of Bali Rani from front desk who helped when we had a problem to the cleaners kitchen staff the lot A Huge thank you for making a stay a great one Sandra and Gary Capaldi

Loved the hotel. Very central for main shopping malls and also a great variety of restaurants. Only 60 to 90 minutes from all the places we wanted to see and some beaches. 13 mins from airport too. Staff were amazing especially Gusti our pool guy. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Spa facilities good but don't go for getting your nails done. Everything was good prices. Even a launderette only 5 mins walk away and ready next day

Strongly do not recommend this hotel. The room had a strong damp smell, which made it very hard to sleep. Even worse, at the restaurant, an older woman with glasses — a staff member — only checked the dining eligibility of Asian-looking guests, while ignoring the white guests nearby. When I questioned this, they gave various excuses and refused to admit there was any issue. As an Asian guest, I felt discriminated against and will not be returning.

Great location close to shops, Discovery mall across the road great shopping many small stores within the complex. Ten minute walk to the new shopping mall with big brand names along Kuta beach. The staff at this resort are exceptional special thanks to Ari very polite young man will go the extra mile to please guest at the hotel super block always with a smile. Sujasmini, Widarti beautiful ladies very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous, swimming pool was great with lot off shadowing. Yes I would stay at this resort again. Close to international airport. Thank you to all the staff at this hotel for making our holiday be a very relaxing and a memorable one.
