Lovely resort with lovely staff. With great entertainment, especially DJ Mark! We did have a toilet that didn’t flush, after a few days, but aside from our room that needed a little maintenance the whole experience was great. Also the whole hotel will close in a week for refurbishing, so that’ll be non issue. Food was also very good with some good variety, only the red wine was not it. The rest of the option were good though.

We enjoyed our stay, but the hotel is not what it used to be. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. The staff everywhere in the hotel were brilliant, polite and helpful as always. Now, what's changed? First of all, there is a massive understaffing in all bars and restaurants, despite the place being probably at full occupancy. I know that the hotel is closing soon for refurbishment, but that should not affect the present day. The staff do their best but there are not enough of them anymore. Additionally, the room was a massive disappointment. The towels, although changed daily, were grey, thin, and had holes in them. There is no soap in the bathroom, and the shower gel is no longer being replenished. The cleaning standards were also questionable. Entertainment-wise, a massive cutback - only two singers were actually good over the course of a week, and the majority sang almost the same songs each night. The food was tasty, but after speaking to a head waiter in one of the à la carte restaurants, I was mortified. I am allergic to certain ingredients, so I always check if I am unsure. With Bahia, I loved the fact that they display all allergens on the menu. Once, I was asked if I had allergies (never happened before), I was told that the dish I wanted contained the specific allergen, so was the only one I couldn't have. I pointed out that on the menu it was the other way round, as it was the only one that was suitable for me and all other dishes were not. The waiter explained that the menu is outdated and contains inaccurate allergen information, so I cannot trust it. I am glad that we had that chat, but this is a serious health concern and a management failure if Bahia feels that displaying allergens on the menu can be justified. The area around the pool is not maintained properly anymore. Again, preparing for the refurb? There are no areas for smokers to sit down and have a drink. You need to smoke in the tiny areas in the middle of stairs and paths. I believe this affects nonsmokers much more if having a dedicated area with tables and chairs would. Overall, we love the location and the hotel staff but the standards are now gone so probably won't be returning based on the above.

Fantastic Stay – Already Planning to Return! We had an amazing few days at Bahia Principe Sunlight Costa Adeje. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome – friendly smiles, helpful advice, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room was spotless, in a quiet area, and had a lovely view of mountains and sea. The food was excellent with plenty of choice each day, and everything was fresh and well presented. We especially enjoyed the Asia restaurant and the breakfasts on the terrace. The pool area were spotlessly clean there were always plenty of sunbeds available. Entertainment in the evenings was great both on the terrace and in the main square especially the Queen tribute. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s ideal for couples, families, or anyone wanting a relaxing break with great service. We’re looking forward to coming back next week!

Just got back from 5 days here! We are so happy we booked this place. We came for a mini honeymoon and were so impressed with the hotel. The cleanest place we have been, the food was fantastic and lots of variety, staff were incredibly friendly and made every effort to make sure the trip was enjoyable. We will 100% return with our children for a longer holiday, although not much around the hotel everything was only 15 minutes away by car and for us we think that’s perfect. The sister hotel was being renovated whilst we were here and couldn’t even hear the work going on. We would give it more stars if we could. Not a bad thing to say about our visit!

I think this is my seventh trip now we absolutely love it here my son is happy. I’m happy . The food could be better, but we’re big foodies so it would always be hard to please us. The hotel is in need of improvements however it will be shut all next year for these to be done for a relaxing comfortable holiday. I couldn’t recommend this place more
