I loved the location, very beautiful place. The resort is well maintained. The steak house, the spanish and the mexican restaurants where we got reservations were my fav. Great food and service and very pretty. Not crazy about the snack bars, not the best food. :( I had a suite with living room.and double washroom.very nice size . I didnt love the showers... and i never got hand soap lol! But whatever no biggie. Loved the tour to Isla Mujeres, specially the snorkeling. Nice boat and great crew! Once in isla mujeres, the seas color is stunning but nothing special really just crowded and lots of vendors. Overall the resort was good. The buffet was really good! The pools are nice... The guys driving the transportation carts were super friendly. The bar tenders were very nice as well. My only negative experience there was the last night, my 13 yr old daughter and I were being followed by a staff member from the one of the kitchens/bars.. we never knew... he was so sketchy and took his name tag off, he was asking me which was my room and if ppl knew me...and if i wanted liquor... it was so creepy.... i spoke to management as i was there alone with my daughter and my room was 10 min walk from the lobby... luckily they drove us to our room and switched our room and i flew out the next day. I submitted a report and dont know if they found out who it was at last..... hope they did.

The buffet restaurant incredible good. My girl has food allergies. We felt safe all the times. The staff was fully aware of her condition. Nelson and Pablo chefs always accessible and listening. I have no words to thank all people from Yucatan restaurant. Very nice and kind all of them

We first went to this resort 2 years ago and have just got home from a 2nd trip. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the resort and daily housekeeping. Guest services were always available and if we had any needs whether it be more of something, a late cleaning, an inquiry, a birthday treat, or even a maintenance request it was taken care of with ease. The biggest struggle is getting dinner reservations for Al a carte, same struggle 2 years ago. The al a cartes are very good when we did get a reservation so do try. We enjoyed that there is always food available so we don't need to pig out but can get what we need when we are hungry. Along with a decent buffet of lots of options that is refreshed/restocked quickly there is a snack shack by each of the main pools. Drinks are done well and there is a good bar in the main hut area for morning coffee or ask for a mocha done by Angel and also lovely evening coffee when the cry is out, Mayan coffee is the best. I enjoyed a message by the ocean by the tequila restaurant on the far side of the resort in the morning before the pools got loud and that was nice by yesmin. Last time I chose the location by the snack truck and it was too loud hearing all the families.

This was our first time visiting and we would highly recommend! Room is great only thing is the mattress is very hard, but the room was cleaned everyday with care. The staff are amazing all around. If you are visiting the buffet ask to be in Edwin’s section, he made every meal there extra special with his kindness and attention. The A la Cartes were delicious. The beach is beautiful and the pools were clean. Entertainment every night was great! We look forward to visiting other Bahía Príncipe resorts for our next vacation!

The staff at the day bar, Rodrigo and Huvenso, were truly incredible and made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were both so warm, kind, and genuinely friendly — they instantly made us feel at home. They went above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere, always greeting us with a smile and remembering our preferences, which made each visit feel personal and thoughtful. You could tell they both take real pride in what they do — they’re not just friendly faces, but incredibly professional, attentive, and efficient. Even when the bar was busy, they handled everything with ease, keeping the energy positive and making sure everyone was happy and looked after. Their service was consistent, smooth, and always delivered with such care and attention to detail. It’s rare to find staff who manage to be so laid-back and approachable while also doing their job so flawlessly, but they nailed it every time. Rodrigo and Huvenso brought such a positive vibe to the bar, and truly made it one of the highlights of our stay. We’re so grateful to them for making us feel so welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from start to finish.
