The time in the hotel was awesome! We have stayed for a week, and whole time we have enjoyed.
The hotel is clean and beautiful. Everyone is really nice. Especially the entertainment team and the waiter Daniel.
Entertainment team is one of the best in the world. They are active and kind. I totally enjoy all the actives which are prepared by Erick, Fernanda and Marco. I cannot forget about Victor’s aqua aerobic, I was never so happy after activity.
Cocktails in hotel are delicious and tasty as well as food. Everyday guacamole is my dream food there. Don’t forget also to eat tuna.
The receptionist Fernando was always helpful even if we don’t know something he was always there to help with the smile on his face.

We stayed at this resort for two weeks last fall, we were very happy with our choice. The resort was huge, well maintained and the beach was beautiful. Our room was spacious, had a mini bar and a coffee maker. The main pool had a swim up bar, there were a lot of activities during the day, the entertainment team was great. The buffet was huge, nice presentation, food was a bit repetitive but always something for everyone. For the a la carte restaurants, we liked the Indian restaurant the most, the food was impeccable, service was outstanding. Overall a nice resort for families with kids or as a couple.

This was my first time at an all inclusive property and Bahia Principe exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we checked in we were treated well by the staff.
This was a family trip with my wife and daughter and we all had a great time. The pool areas were nice with plenty of lounge chairs and fun activities. The entertainment team created a fun atmosphere that made you excited to participate in the activities!
Their kids club was amazing. Some of the best staff around. After one activity with the leaders of the kids club our daughter did not any to spend anytime with us and wanted to be at kids club all day.
The beach was nice and the evening activity fun. Having access to visit their other property coba was great too.
Getting an a la carte restaurant can be tricky so definitely try to do that in advance if possible but we were still able to get reservations with some persistence and the food at those restaurants was also really good.
Overall we had an amazing time here and are already planning a follow up visit for next year.

Mixed experience at this affordable all-inclusive resort. Stayed 4 nights with family.
Positives:
- Clean, well-maintained property
- Multiple pools and decent drink selection
- Kids loved the water park area
- Extensive buffet options
Negatives:
- Underwhelming kids' club
- Limited resort information and activity details
- App functionality issues
- Inconsistent housekeeping and room service
- Problems with room temperature control
- Wristband room keys malfunctioned when wet
- Inconvenient meal times for families
- Difficulty booking a la carte restaurants
- Some staff seemed uninformed
While budget-friendly, the resort falls short in service and family-friendly conveniences. Suitable for budget-conscious travelers, but those expecting higher service levels or traveling with young children may find it lacking. Consider your priorities before booking.

We truly enjoyed our second stay at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum🫶🏻
We especially liked the option of switching between hotels, we absolutely love the beach and the pool areas, as well as the hotel complex with all plants and animals. Most of the dinner restaurants have been excellent but the buffet could be better (especially at tulum, certain dishes were often empty and there is a lack of vegetarian options).
