This was our 6th time returning to this resort and that should speak volumes alone. There will always be room for improvement but after visiting many other all-inclusive resorts this one by far is our favourite. Food is great, some rooms are renovated and some not. We stay in the 2 bedroom units usually and they are perfect. Staff is great, grounds are beautiful. Beach is just ok. The Entertainment crew works hard to make sure that there are a plethora of games and activities at the multiple pools during the day and then there are different events every night.

Very great value for this all inclusive at the price point. A bit far from airport (CUN) and most excursions. Definitely more of a FAMILY FRIENDLY resort. Would come back if I had kids in group but not just with my gf. Negatives: wifi is really bad, water in rooms does not get very hot, hard to get reservations for restaurants. Positives: Food for all inclusive is excellent at buffet and restaurants, awesome beach and pools, good included bar selection, friendly staff, lots of signs to get around Overall I’d lean toward a 4/5. Was close to a 3 but the food and beach really puts it at a 4. Great selection at buffet and ton of beach spots. Rooms are really the biggest issue but the front desk took care of most of the concerns we had within an hour.

Excellence all throughout the resort. Amazing food ala carte and the buffets! Our room was clean and maintained daily . Snorkelling from shore and entertainment is superb! Always fun or simply relaxing ...whatever we chose day to day we always had a new joyful experience. Every where we went the service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Super helpful !

We are staying in room 8003 with a shared swimming pool. Bahia Akumal — absolutely amazing. The best resort for a quiet vacation with immaculate service. A large resort that feels peaceful, with buggies ready to take you anywhere. • Food: The main buffet is outstanding — spotless, beautifully presented, and a huge variety of delicious food. • Beach: Clean, calm, and shallow for kids, with quiet adult areas to truly relax. • Rooms & service: Download the in-room service app in advance — pillows or blankets arrive in 10 minutes. Everything is provided: hair dryer, conditioner, lotion, shampoo, and crispy clean towels daily. • Drinks & snacks: Available all day, great quality from start to finish. • Spa: Pure heaven. Relaxing massages in a beautifully scented, calm, and soothing spa ,total escape. • Atmosphere: Live music and animation done perfectly. Housekeeping is flawless. Just bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent — and don’t be surprised to meet a few raccoons

We had an amazing experience during our stay! A special shoutout to Carlos & Juan at the lobby bar, they provided excellent service and were so kind & joyful! We looked forward to seeing Carlos in particular every single night of our stay, he made us feel so welcome from the start! All of the staff were so prompt with fulfilling every request we had and ensured we had a wonderful stay. The buffet staff were amazing, they were so prompt with bringing us drinks and removing plates as soon as we were done with them! Overall, every single person we encountered was amazing and made our stay so wonderful, we felt so welcome! I’d highly recommend booking an excursion if you have the time, it was a once in a lifetime experience and elevated our stay so much!
