After visiting Tenerife several times now, this is without question the best hotel we’ve stayed in. It’s perfect for families, with exceptionally friendly staff who welcome you on arrival. The food choice was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. The children absolutely loved it, from the pool foam party to their own entertainment shows, a castle full of surprises, and different activities and entertainment on offer every day. An outstanding hotel that we would happily return to.

Hotel is fantastic for children of all ages. The staff are all friendly especially those who work tirelessly in the kids club - although we have not used it you see them around the hotel all the time constantly entertaining. The kids splash park and pools are brilliant with plenty to do, situated next to the snack bar and serve yourself drinks station. Stopping in a family master suite, this room is perfect for us with the split wall to separate the rooms. Mini bar is restocked daily for free and cleaners in daily too. Cannot fault this hotel for a child friendly holiday other than the location, there isn’t much to walk to after dinner which is something we enjoy in an evening however that’s just personal preference - you don’t need to leave, everything is here.

We went with our 3, nearly 4 year old son and have never really put him in kids club before. We thought we'd give it a go for the first time this holiday and we're glad we did, the service they provide really does match the 5 stars of the hotel, I'd like to give a special mention to Elena and Candy Man but the entire entertainment team really are amazing they made Louis' holiday and ours because we got to spend time going for a walk and have a drink which for any one with young children will know is a luxury. There are nice coastal walks to be had but not much else outside the grounds and I've also given the food 4* instead of 5* as in days it was cold especially at breakfast. Al in all a great hotel and would love to come back.

While staying at this hotel, I found that there are some positives — it is a good property with clear potential — but unfortunately the issues outweigh the benefits. The biggest problem is the check-in and check-out process. Waiting more than 30 minutes is unacceptable, and the long, poorly managed queues during both arrival and departure are frankly a joke for a hotel claiming five-star status. Another disappointment is the spa, which is not included and requires an additional charge. For a hotel at this level, this should be standard. The pool water was also uncomfortably cold, which further detracted from the experience. I raised these concerns with a front desk staff member, but instead of acknowledging the shortcomings, he compared the hotel to others that take even longer. I explained that a five-star hotel should compare itself to better standards, not worse ones. I have stayed at true five-star hotels such as the Rosewood and the Corinthia in London — they are five-star for a reason, with exceptional service and attention to detail. That level of service is missing here. The food was another major letdown. The selection was often limited, and the quality was poor. On one occasion, the veal was extremely chewy. When I complained, the chef explained that it “needs cooking in butter.” I suggested this be done consistently, but once again this points to weak management and lack of oversight. Overall, the general manager has a good hotel that could be great, but there seems to be no drive to push it to that level. Unless there is a serious change in management and service standards, I do not see how this hotel can maintain its five-star rating — as it currently falls far short of meeting five-star criteria in almost every aspect.

Very family-friendly hotel with lots of activities for children, which makes the stay easy and relaxing for the whole family. The buffet is decent, but the à la carte restaurants are excellent and definitely worth booking. The room was spacious and comfortable, although we would have preferred a balcony facing the pool area – our room faced the road. A big plus was the fitness offering for adults, which was very good. This was our first all-inclusive stay, and overall it has been a very positive experience.
