Perfect hotel. I have been staying here with my family for 6 days and I have no complaints. Everything is really well organized. the rooms are spacious, many pools, beach…The food is also great. Friendly staff. the bus stop from which the bus to Chania departs is right next to the hotel.

Amazing stay at this hotel. Beautiful pools, bars and restaurants. Everything is very clean. The staff are very friendly. Convenient shop on site with a lovely lady greeting you each day. She was very helpful. And the food options in the restaurants and buffet were great.
The children also had a lovely time.
We did all inclusive and I would definitely recommend it.

We recently spent a week at the Avra Imperial Hotel in Crete, Greece, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel grounds were immaculate and well-maintained, providing a picturesque and relaxing environment. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Housekeeping was consistently cheerful and thorough, ensuring our room was always in top condition.
While the food was not quite up to our expectations, as we had hoped for a more authentic Greek dining experience, the outdoor terrace provided a pleasant dining atmosphere away from the noise of the main restaurant. We often decided to eat outside at more authentic restaurants.
Unfortunately, our attempt to dine at the a la carte restaurants was marred by a significant change of our time of reservation, leading us to cancel our plans.
Despite these minor setbacks, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and Avra Imperial Hotel is undoubtedly a great choice for families. Next time, we will likely opt for an adults-only hotel to better suit our preferences. Nonetheless, we highly recommend Avra Imperial Hotel for its excellent service, cleanliness, and beautiful surroundings.

The hotel is beautiful.
Staff is very friendly and attentive.
The surrounding area isn't the greatest, as it is very quiet. Lots of small children about when we went, so not great for couples looking for a quiet relaxing holiday.
The food was really nice, although it sometimes went cold very quickly.
The fishing port is small and has a small selection of restaurants if you're on a bed and breakfast stay.
We did half board and opted to go out for a few meals.

Avra resort hotel is beautiful, modern, and clean. The staff are all amazing and helpful. The food is varied and consistently tasty throughout. I would recommend having a rental car as the hotel is a little out of the way, and you will want to enjoy the rest of beautiful Crete along side your stay.
