Entire stay was awesome. The staff was vwry friendly and helpful. We wwre warmly welcomed by the reception staff. They accommodate us in a very good room. The room was cleaned and well arranged. Pool are was very relaxing. Didnt felt like crowded. They had a huge garden and it was really calm and i think Thaala is one of the best relaxing places in sri lanka.

We had a truly wonderful experience at this beautiful hotel. The surroundings are absolutely stunning—peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for a special family celebration. The lunch buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes, all well presented and carefully prepared. Even though we are in Canada, the team went above and beyond to help us arrange everything beautifully for my parents’ anniversary. A special thank you to Mr. Sumila for his exceptional support, professionalism, and genuine care throughout the process. Distance was never a barrier—everything was handled seamlessly and with great attention to detail. We would also like to sincerely appreciate the entire staff, who were warm, courteous, and attentive, making the experience truly memorable for our family. Thala is one of the best place I visited in Sri Lanka. We were there to celebrate the new year and it was great. We had a lovely time. Service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Specially Hansaji and sanjana in the reception was very helpful. The food was amazing. We loved the room and the location.

I went to Thaala Bentota for my anniversary celebration, and it was the best stay I’ve ever had—truly the best hotel in Sri Lanka. From check-in to check-out, I never felt like I was away from home. The staff are the most valuable asset of this wonderful property. The Front Office team was excellent. Housekeeping, especially Bimsara, made our stay very comfortable. The food was delicious, and the Christmas decorations were beautiful and glamorous. The housekeeping department is doing a perfect job. Mr. Rajitha, the Executive Housekeeper, always checked on us and asked if everything was satisfactory. I have stayed in many hotels in Sri Lanka, but the way the Resident Manager, Mr. Dilina, approaches and cares for guests is truly exceptional and invaluable. I highly recommend this property. It is the best hotel in Bentota.

The room was absolutely stunning—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern touches. I was especially impressed by the comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and the attention to detail in the amenities. It had everything I needed: a well-stocked minibar, a large flat-screen TV, and fast Wi-Fi. The bathroom was spotless, with luxurious toiletries and a fantastic shower. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to major attractions, but tucked away enough to offer a quiet, peaceful environment. I took advantage of the on-site restaurant, which offered a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, including fresh pastries and locally sourced ingredients. The staff at the restaurant were equally attentive and provided excellent service. I also had the chance to enjoy the hotel’s spa, which was the ultimate relaxation experience. The massage was heavenly, and the spa’s tranquil atmosphere really helped me unwind. Overall, my stay at Thaala exceeded all expectations. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to return on my next visit to the area. Highly recommend!
