I recently stayed at Thaala Bentota, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained, making the stay extremely relaxing. The service provided by the team was superb—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The buffet menu was incredible, with a great variety of dishes, and the food was absolutely delicious. One of the highlights of the stay was the beautiful beach view, which added so much to the overall experience. The hotel’s location is also very convenient and easy to reach. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend Thaala Hotel, Bentota, to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway. 🌴✨

Our stay at Thaala Bentota was amazing and really comfortable. The beach front location is absolutely stunning. And the views are breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Specially mention about the foods delicious with plenty of variety and rooms were clean and neat. Nice balcony view. Hope to return back

Entire stay was awesome. The staff was vwry friendly and helpful. We wwre warmly welcomed by the reception staff. They accommodate us in a very good room. The room was cleaned and well arranged. Pool are was very relaxing. Didnt felt like crowded. They had a huge garden and it was really calm and i think Thaala is one of the best relaxing places in sri lanka.

I recently stayed atThaala for a weekend getaway, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the lobby had a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The room was absolutely stunning—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern touches. I was especially impressed by the comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and the attention to detail in the amenities. It had everything I needed: a well-stocked minibar, a large flat-screen TV, and fast Wi-Fi. The bathroom was spotless, with luxurious toiletries and a fantastic shower. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to major attractions, but tucked away enough to offer a quiet, peaceful environment. I took advantage of the on-site restaurant, which offered a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, including fresh pastries and locally sourced ingredients. The staff at the restaurant were equally attentive and provided excellent service. I also had the chance to enjoy the hotel’s spa, which was the ultimate relaxation experience. The massage was heavenly, and the spa’s tranquil atmosphere really helped me unwind. Overall, my stay at Thaala exceeded all expectations. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to return on my next visit to the area. Highly recommend!

Recently stayed here with my family and had an absolutely lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were truly wonderful : warm, attentive, and always going out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. The service throughout the resort was excellent. The food was a solid 10/10. There was an impressive spread and variety, ranging from Western cuisine to authentic Sri Lankan dishes, along with a great selection of Indian options. Every single dish was packed with flavour, and the quality and consistency were outstanding. A special mention to Sanjana from Guest Relations / Front Office, who checked us in and regularly checked on us throughout our stay. She was extremely friendly, courteous, and genuinely caring. Special thanks also to the F&B team, especially Chef Nalaka (Executive Chef) and Vikum, our waiter, who were all incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Ruchira and Theekshana at the Front Office ensured a smooth and efficient checkout, processing our payment quickly and without any delays. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Thaala Bentota for a relaxing and memorable stay. We will definitely be returning.
