The resort is beautiful, and the location to the airport is spectacular. So, the overall experience was wonderful. Some highlights for me were my butler Hector, who took care of my wife and me all week. From reservations to poolside lounges to room perks, Hector was an amazing guide throughout our week. The pools and drinks were very good, and with the cooler weather this week in Cancun, the heated pools came in Clutch. The Spa was amazing and worth the trip alone. We spent a couple of days there and loved the services. Some low points included food quality at some restaurants and less-than-stellar interactions with staff. Most of the staff at or around the buffets were less than hospitable and stood out against the vast majority who were amazing. Another concern was that the sewage smell persisted throughout the week. I went to the hotel, and the exterior was causing it, so we had to change locations a few times to avoid it. I’d love to see some more hotel experiences, exclusive bar cocktails, exclusive events for HoF members, and some intrigue around locations within the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to a return trip, with some minor changes at the hotel.

We just returned from an amazing family trip to AVA Resort Cancun, and we truly can’t say enough good things. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding. Our butlers, Hector and Damian, went above and beyond every single day — attentive, kind, and always making sure our family had everything we needed. They truly elevated the entire experience. The food across the resort was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality, which can be hard to find at large resorts. Service somehow managed to be even better than the food. A special shoutout to Leonardo at the Legendary Pool, who took such great care of us and made our pool days extra enjoyable. The resort itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and feels very modern and luxurious. Our room was clean, stylish, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after full days of fun with family. This resort strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and warmth. We made so many great memories here and would absolutely return. Highly recommend AVA Resort Cancun if you’re looking for exceptional service, amazing food, and a beautiful, family-friendly getaway.

This is my first time in Cancun and to be in an all inclusive reosrt. I chose AVA resort since it's new and close to the airport. I personally travel for food so my biggest worry is having nice quality food at an all inclusive place. But damn, their food here is good. The service is excellent. Some of the people that helped us during our dinner meals were Mario and Carlos from The Butcher restaurant. They're attentive, helpful, friendly and knows about the food they'll serve. I would recommend booking at this resort and make sure to make a reservation at The Butcher restaurant.

We are Legendary members and when we arrived our suite was good but not exactly what we expected. During the member presentation we wanted to upgrade but I was hesitant because of what we paid to what we got. They immediately took care of us and upgraded our room to a presidential suite. That was amazing and so comfortable for our family! Customer service was very good! The young guy who took care of us at the pool, Roberto, was second to none… so nice and always smiled! Never ran out of towels, fridge was always stocked and room service delivered within 45 minutes. When we left John was great and took care of our luggage and ride to the airport. John was so nice to us! I would only suggest a bit more detail on the cleaning. Windows had a lot of fingerprints and smudges and the floors had a lot of hair. We would come back again!

My family and friends came to the resort hoping for a great experience, and it exceeded all expectations. Everything about our stay was amazing, especially the staff, who were outstanding across the board. My family keeps a strictly kosher diet, which can sometimes make an all-inclusive resort challenging. However, Chef Wilberth, Oscar, and the entire team — especially Erik, Victor, and Natali — went above and beyond to accommodate us. They prepared special meals and truly made us feel like we were the only family at the resort. I can honestly go on and on about how incredible this place is. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an exceptional experience.
