In addition, the variety of restaurants available is impressive—each one with outstanding service, delicious food, and a charming atmosphere that invites you to linger. We felt truly happy to have chosen this place for our vacation. It was a rewarding and comforting experience that we would gladly repeat. Highly recommended, whether you’re a couple, a family, or simply someone looking to enjoy quality time in a safe and welcoming environment.

Nice resort, had a lot of good things going for it, and a few things that were disappointing. First, they are very friendly, and do a good job of providing service to their guests. They are attentive in the buffet style restaurants, they have fast room service, and fast poolside service for drinks and food. The resort is very safe. It is secluded, and you must pass through security to get anywhere near the resort. This also makes it hard to get in and out. If you come here plan on staying here, outside of excursions. You will not be near other restaurants, activities, entertainment, etc. Transportation to anywhere off the resort is expensive. They are not adequately staffed for restaurants. I’ve been to lots of all inclusive resorts. This is the only one where there seemed to be trouble getting food. It’s tough to get into any desirable restaurants. I tried to make reservations as soon as I got here on a four night stay, and couldn’t get into any restaurant that I wanted. They were booked. It was very disappointing, especially since it was one of the reasons me and my family selected this place. Plan to eat at the buffets, if you’re coming, not the steakhouse. The beach is not good. It is full of seaweeds (they can’t control that), the seaweed has an awful smell, and it’s not an attractive beach. I haven’t seen any guest actually get into the water, nor would I recommend it. Stick to the pool. Few suggestions for AVA, not that they’d take them. Correct your website. Times and days of restaurants being open are inaccurate. Your app doesn’t do anything you claim that it does. Don’t promote it, or you’ll just leave your customers frustrated. Maybe you should have 2 of your most popular restaurants if people cant make reservations 4 days out. I wouldn’t come back, but maybe others would have a better experience. This place has a great view, and beautiful, very modern, facility.

I was absolutely thrilled with the service, rooms and dining at AVA. All of the rooms at AVA are oceanfront, I didn’t know that until I got there. When they opened the door to my room my jaw fell open. The room was huge, the bathroom is enormous definitely room for 2 in the shower. I loved having the jacuzzi on the balcony. The pool was great, not crowded and was always able to find a chair. If you go make sure you stop by the taco bar in the food court. They make them to order and they are delicious! There were so many activities and entertainment options. Was also informed that the south tower is adult only. So it’s great that there is an adult only pool and dining.

Ava Resort Cancun was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—especially from our incredible butlers (AB and Ariel), who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The food was extraordinary at every restaurant, with a wide variety of delicious options. The service at the pool was also exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always making sure we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the day. The resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and truly luxurious. And the beautiful golf course is just minutes away! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be coming back!

AVA Resort has a lot going for it—especially for families and groups looking for fun and variety. There’s no shortage of things to do, from nightly theater shows and laser tag to an arcade, boutique shopping, taco stands, and ice cream counters. All of it is centered around a long, promenade that is the central element of the hotel. The rooms are lovely: spacious, well-appointed, and all have balconies with ocean views. That said, the turquoise water is quite a distance out—so while the views are technically there, the water and beach are not all that picturesque. The food definitely exceeded expectations for an all-inclusive, and we found the staff to be warm and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. AVA Bay—a huge swimmable lagoon with kayaks and an inflatable obstacle course was a novelty and fun for kids. The layout of the resort is quite spread out - it's one long walk either in the promenade or along the pool deck with the adult pool and family pool on opposite ends which can be good or bad depending on how you plan to relax with family. Where the resort falls a bit short is in that classic beach vacation feel. Despite being in Cancun, the layout keeps the indoor and outdoor space separate. When you're in the promenade you could be anywhere. The exterior pool area while huge and fun is also stark and modern in its design, missing the tropical vibe. The beach itself doesn’t really steal the show - there are beach chairs set up, but no one was using them during our stay and the beach itself is short so you can go for long walks. Overall, Ava offers a fun, modern atmosphere with a bit of a Vegas entertainment and style—just not that breezy, toes-in-the-sand kind of escape.
