I've been dreaming of a relaxing summer holiday for a while now and decided to take a chance with Astir, and wow, what a great choice!
The rooms were lovely, and so were the pools, the sea water was so warm which is quite a change for us vs the freezing waters of the Portuguese coast. The lunch staff knew our order by heart 2 days in, and everyone we spoke to provided excellent service, from reception, to the bar staff and buffet waiters, everyone was exceptionally welcoming. The food was pretty good, there’s options for everyone. We did expect there to be more fish on a regular basis, but when they did it was amazing. You’re catered for all meals if you have the all inclusive package which I’d recommend, you can order drinks and get them delivered from all sun beds, what a treat! We were pleasantly surprised with the entertainment, which we didn’t know we’d encounter! Do make sure you go to the daily night time shows over at the theatre for some great performances. The entertainment team also kept us going all day, from the water gymnastics class all the way to their shows after dinner. They were all super lovely and made the time to speak to everyone they walked past throughout the day.
The only less positive element was that I purposefully picked a hotel that didn’t seem to cater to babies and children that much but there were still a good number of young families present who seemed to huddle around the pool entrances instead of using the kids pool. So using the nice steps to get in the pool was at times awkward, but other than that it was a very pleasant and quiet experience during the day.

**Fantastic Stay at Astir Odysseus**
My recent stay at Astir Odysseus hotel was nothing short of spectacular and exceeded all my expectations. Situated along the stunning coastline, this five-star hotel offered an unforgettable experience of luxury and comfort.
The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, equipped with modern amenities and boasting breathtaking sea views from the balcony. Waking up to such panoramic views each morning was a true delight.
The service was exceptional. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Whether arranging excursions, making restaurant reservations, or simply answering questions, they were always available with a smile.
The pool area was an oasis of tranquility and luxury, perfect for relaxing under the sun. The poolside drinks and snacks added to the overall experience.
When it came to dining, the hotel's restaurants offered an extensive selection of both local and international dishes of excellent quality. The breakfast buffet was a highlight with fresh and delicious options to suit every palate.
Overall, my stay at Astir Odysseus was unforgettable, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday experience. I am already looking forward to returning!

We got married in Kos and stayed at this amazing hotel! The staff are extremely helpful and sent a golf buggy down to pick me up in my wedding dress so I didn’t have to walk down in the heat! They had no problem with my hair dresser and makeup artist coming to the room for the wedding day. The staff even arranged towel swans and a bottle of bubbles for us for when we got back from the wedding. Highly recommend staying here to anyone getting married in Kos!
The night reception team were fantastic when we needed their help one of the nights during our stay. We cannot thank them enough for their support!
My dad was injured and the reception team sent a kart to pick him up from the end of the resort after he got the bus back from Kos town! The most helpful team!
We upgraded to one of the rooms with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony. The tub was cleaned daily by the fantastic cleaning service. The views were spectacular!
The hotel were also fantastic with my food intolerances I had lots of options all week which is rare!
It was my husbands birthday and they arranged a cake for him and the staff all sang him happy birthday!
From the staff, the views, the pools, the food everything was amazing! We are already talking about booking a trip back here next year!

It was a very enjoyable vacation. The hotel is very beautiful, spread over a large area, and has a low-rise architectural design. There are pools everywhere. The hotel gives off a campus vibe. Inside the hotel, there are cafes, playgrounds, a children's park, restaurants, and more cafes. You can take walks and have fun. The breakfast and dinner are simply wonderful. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing resort for families. Super friendly staff, lots of activities for kids, different pool options including two kiddie pools (one with a canvas for shade) and access to the sea (although it’s a very narrow pebble “beach”). The food is excellent if you like buffet (again, great for families). This is probably the friendliest 5 star resort we have ever been to. My only criticism is the TV channels being mostly in German or Greek. What happened to English channels for kids?
