I have no idea where to start. We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Our room was brilliant, we had a great view and it was kept really clean every day. The staff at the hotel were amazing, I can't find anything to fault them, they were always friendly and helpful. There are 2 pools, we went to the one near the dining area, it was always kept clean. There was a good variety of food, they regularly had things like pizza and chips but also had interesting dishes like okra (lady fingers) and moussaka. All the food we ate was fresh. It would've been nice to have some spicy food but I appreciate that not everyone likes that and it wasn't a big deal because the food was really good. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and missed dinner, the staff were kind enough to provide us with sandwiches, snacks and water in our room. Checking out was very simple and straightforward, we decided to have a later checkout which was easy to arrange. The staff really looked after us well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel, fabulous food, service fantastic. The only thing I would comment on is that they would really benefit from a teenage hangout or teenage area. Travelling with our 13 year old daughter and we thought it would be great if she had the opportunity to meet other teens on an evening. Not much evening entertainment which didn't bother us too much as we were happy to read a book etc but if here for 2 weeks and you like evening entertainment then it could be a bit quiet for you. They have lovely relaxing bars and this is nice to sit and talk, read or play cards. I would still highly recommend this hotel and would recommend getting a car to experience the island. It is a beautiful hotel and is immaculate so if you book you won't be disappointed. Thank you ❤️

I stayed here for a week and I can honestly say it was the best holiday I’ve ever had. The hotel was absolutely beautiful with stunning scenery in and outside the resort. The staff were amazing, when I say amazing they were incredible. Every single one of them were polite, smiling, happy and a joy to be around. The room was fantastic as well with an amazing view. Kefalonia is a beautiful place but the Apollonion Asterias made me fall in love with the island even more. I will be back here again and many times after that. I cannot recommend you enough to my friends and family who are looking for a holiday that offers everything. Thank you to every single member of staff, you’re all brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant!!! Been here for 8 days so far. The staff are very helpful. The rooms and grounds are kept immaculately clean. The food is lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel. The local beach "Xi" is gorgeous, you have to walk along the coast towards Sparo's bar/ restaurant and the beach widens substantially. 10/10 hotel with lots to do on the grounds- play areas, pools, art gallery surrounded by exquisite Greek natural scenery. Amazing family holiday! From our first meal in the dining hall, Elena (dinner staff) made us feel very welcome. She was very polite, attentive and professional. She made our dining experience very special. The lady who cleaned our room (565) was exceptionally clean and did an amazing job.

We visited at the overlap of term time and school holidays, so definitely noticed the resort was a lot busier at the back end of our stay - which made the service a little slower etc but that is understandable. Before the largest of the crowds arrived, our stay was pretty faultless - we were upgraded to their gorgeous premium suites which I really recommend for a quieter, more luxury experience. The suite was kept clean each day and the pool and garden were attended to every morning. We went half board, which was fine given that there was a local Greek restaurant that we often visited for lunch - however we would definitely consider all inclusive the next time around for ease as the food was generally varied and of decent quality on the resort. The splash pool is a huge added bonus with small children, as opposed to only large pools.
