I can give a maximum of 3 stars to this five-star hotel in Greece. I didn't expect luxury, but I did expect cleanliness. I've attached photos showing how the cleaning is done in the hotel. The mirror was dirty, there were hairs from previous guests on the floor, and even in the basket in the bathroom where the shampoo was, there were hairs. The room was cleaned every day, but the basket was never washed. I kept removing my things from it. Secondly, the hairdryer was terrible, overheating after just 30 seconds. Thirdly, the breakfasts were not bad, but we think the hotel is cutting costs. You can't pour your own coffee, tea, juice, or anything; you always need to find a waiter. For us, it was also a downside that breakfast starts at 8 AM. Out of 8 days, we missed breakfast 4 times because it was too late as we had early plans on those days. Fourthly, when we arrived, there was not even water in the fridge. A small bottle costs 1 euro. It's outrageous. It's the first time I've seen a hotel not providing free water. There are shops nearby where you can buy a large bottle for 50 cents. In short, we do not recommend this hotel for young people This hotel doesn't know how to handle criticism and claims that their maids are the best. Look at the closet; it's all stained. Look at the photo of the basket; there are hairs and dust. That's why we declined housekeeping services because they didn't clean properly anyway.

Absolutely EVERYTHING is fabulous. Wonderful staff, always cheerful and with a smile, couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful clean rooms, cleaned very day. We were bb, fantastic and fresh breakfasts. Great pool area. It's a definitely must to return.

Beautiful boutique hotel with the loveliest, helpful staff and great location. Quiet but also near a bustling (during the evening/night) village with plenty of tavernas and shops. The hotel itself is spotless and our room was spacious with much needed air con. I would absolutely recommend Angela to couples or families (we have a 5 year old who loved the choice of pools) for a quiet getaway.

My daughter and I spent a week here in July, and I can not recommend the hotel highly enough. A wonderful place. Great breakfasts, comfortable room, and excellent pool and bar. What sets it apart is the service from the staff. Each staff member was incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional. No request was too difficult no matter the time. Its location a couple of minutes walk from the harbour with its many restaurants was ideal and only 5 minutes walk from a great beach. Also, should you feel the need for very loud nightlife, Malia is a 10 minute drive, though it feels a lifetime away. Book a stay as this place deserves to be supported.

5 star Hotel, with 6 star food and service. Staff are amazing and would do anything for you. I would recommend going half board as the 5 course dinner was amazing. We did choose to eat out a couple of nights but only because we wanted to try sone other places. Given its a small hotel it has a very friendly atmosphere. Points to note however, no kettle in room to be able to make ure own cuppa which was really disappointing. I would expect any 5 star hotel to have this. Balcony looked straight on to corridors leading to other rooms which was not what I would expect of a 5 star hotel. Cleaners didn't replenish the body wash either despite it being empty for a few days. I would have thought this would be something they would check. Also don't feel the bath was being properly cleaned either as it soon became very slippy when showering. No doubt this was due to our sunscreen being washed off but would have expected the bath cleaned properly to ensure any residue was removed. I would recommend the hotel but be aware of the above points if you feel these would annoy you.
