Great hotel, everything was exceptional. Rooms were spacious. I love the lighting options and shower was one of the best with sun filling the rooms. Balcony was an extra bonus, I loved having my morning coffee at the balcony. Would love to come back again.

Had a very pleasant stay. Our stay was not all inclusive, which I think it’s even better since there are other dining options in Mayakoba and you can easily get to restaurants in other resorts on golf carts or bikes. Mayakoba is a huge gated property that consists of several resorts. The bike lane is well-designed and easy to follow. We saw plenty of coatis on the golf course as we were wandering around on bikes. Plus, the landscape was just so beautifully designed and well maintained.

We really love this hotel and everything here. I've come here twice and cannot say how many times I have recommended to others coming through Cancun to skip Cancun and come straight to Mayakoba. The Andaz smells great, has really good service and just is overall a lovely experience. I felt super safe here and just cannot rave enough about everything here. They have bikes for everyone on property to use- it's a fun way to get around. They also have different trails marked off for you to take. They have a little "el pueblita" which is little town and the restaurant there has really great margaritas and tacos. I loved our room- I picked one with a private dipping pool with a view of the lagoon. They also have daily free rides along the lagoon which is super relaxing. If you like golf, there's 18 hole course as well as many other outdoor things for you to do. Really love coming here- great experience and will definitely come back with others.

My husband and I have been to several resorts in Cancun/Play del Carmen and this one was just meh. I would say very average. The landscape is beautiful and they have bikes on the resort for you to use at your leisure. Service was hit or miss, but they also seemed understaffed. There were a few servers that hustled the entire time, but several were very slow. Rooms were pretty bland. We were very disappointed in the entertainment which is to say there was none...zero. Typically in our experience, there is activities during the day by the pool and at night live music. They had none. They really don't even have a bar to go to at night. The food was also average. The breakfast buffet was chaotic, but had most of the items you would want. The restaurant by the pool had great ceviche and fish tacos for lunch. Dinner was just ok. They did have plenty of chairs by the pool and beach. All in all, I would say for the value, you can find better.

Okay. We just checked out this hotel. Good thing: some stuff members are polite and shuttle is pretty on time. Cons: BE AWARE of RUDE stuff at both restaurants there: NAUM and the beach side, you get breakfast + ignorance and rude treatment. They will smash your omelette to your face (haha just kidding) Looks like stuff in Kitchen treats their kind words like gold. 😊 Be aware of morning treatment and adjust your expectations to be able to start a good morning here
