I am absolutely amazed at the rave reviews this place has gotten. It was the worst location ever!. It is no where near the beach. The shuttle which takes you to the beach runs between 10-5p.m. There are 2 pools on the property which closes at 6 p.m. There is 1 restaurant and a pool side pop-up type dining. Very limited options. If you get hungry or want snacks late evening, you are simply out-of luck. There is nothing but construction going on around the property. You won't be site seeing, shopping, or anything remotely entertaining to pass time. They do have a friendly helpful staff. The rooms are definitely spacious and cleanish. Our room was next door to one which was being renovated, so it was super dusty in our entryway. Everything looked clean, but when the towel was on the floor in front of the shower it was covered in filth from the floor. The floors could definitely use a little soap and water. While there, we were unable to access the gym due to a malfunction of the fingerprint machine. The staff member would not unlock the door for our early morning workout. Yes he had the key. There is no early morning breakfast. Breakfast starts at 8am. The other restaurants in the courtyard are not included in your package. They are not affiliated with the resort. We were unable to get wash cloths once we arrived to our room. We called the dek several times and never received them. We decided to end our stay after the first night. It was just not a good place to spend your hard earned money. If you are thinking of staying here don't! I promise you will thank me later. The photos are misleading at best.

They have some amazing energy at this resort. Durracel and Sopito made our stay here with their great energy and were so welcoming. They always had different activities and made sure to engage their guests and treat them like family. The food was amazing, there was entertainment in the lobby bar every night and great service all around. This is definitely a place to come and visit. We had a blast and didn't want to leave but hope to come back soon.

Compared to other all inclusive resorts, this one rates low due it's location not being at the beach. The food was buffet style and good, but the same things every morning. They had an Italian restaurant that was open about every other night that was good. Most go here to be sold a vacation package. The value of this package is you don't pay maintenance fees, and you don't really buy into the resort. In fact, the pricing structure discourages you from every wanting to return to this resort, but you buy weeks in I.I. , which after all the costs, is about $670 a week at places that can be $400-$600 a night. I can't use my package until the membership is all activated in a few weeks, if if it doesn't all work as they sold us on, I will let you know.

We came as a couple in January 2024. This resort was somewhat newly taken over with new management by Sports Illustrated. It is all-inclusive, and the service was fantastic with lots of attention to the guests in the bars and restaurants. Food is gourmet and delicious. Resort has a Spanish village theme, and there are plenty of walking paths. Gym on site as well. Shops and convenience store in resort if you need essentials or like shopping. Only 10 minutes from PUJ Airport. Sopita, the salsa dancing coach, was really fun and always had a great attitude. You have to say hi to him up by the pool if you have a chance. This resort is located on a bay with a marina view, but the 10-minute free shuttle ride will take you round-trip for a beach visit (Shuttle travels every hour). Beach is safe with food and drink at extra cost, but very nice and only 10 minutes away from the resort. You may bring your own food and drink. Free chairs. The resort at the time we visited, seemed to be somewhere near 50-66 % capacity with guests, so it was a really nice experience with lots of attention from the service staff. Nice cigar bar on site for extra cost with nice drinks and cigars available. Evening entertainment shows and a DJ Edwin party after, with lots of good energy. Have patience with check-in on arrival, as it takes a while, but you can eat at the buffet or drink at the bar while waiting. Overall, a great experience and at a good value. This location is a bit less party lifestyle, and more for couples or family. I highly suggest it. Be sure and plan your airport transportation when leaving the resort, at least 1 day before departure.

While on vacation with my family. My experience was not as I throughout it would be. I heard that there were entertainment and clubs at night. But I thought wrong, this place is nothing else but a no man’s lands no clubs, no party’s its very dead at night. Other than that it’s not worth coming here. I’d rather stay home.
