We had an unforgettable experience. The resort is breathtaking, offering a unique blend of luxury and wildlife. From the poolside of our villa, we were treated to mesmerizing views of majestic animals. A special mention goes to Sayu, an exceptional waitress whose impeccable service enhanced our stay. From start to finish, she went above and beyond, ensuring every moment was perfect. When unexpected rain threatened to dampen our engagement celebration, Sayu swiftly resolved the issue, ensuring our night remained magical. Great thanks to her. Our safari tour with Jafar was nothing short of extraordinary. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience truly memorable. Thanks to him, we were fortunate enough to encounter 8 giraffes among other fascinating wildlife. Anantara Al Yamm Villas exceeded our expectations in every way, thanks to the outstanding team and unforgettable experiences like these.

This is truly a special place. If you are looking for a peaceful location where you could enjoy the sound of waves, the wind beating upon your face, and animals grazing all around you, then this is the place for you. Your ferry takes you across the channel, takes around 30 minutes, and you arrive and take a bus to your Anantara hotel. There are three hotels, desert island is the biggest with the largest pool and a Lebanese/Indian restaurant with hookah. Al Yamm is more secluded, this is where I stayed with beautiful views of the beach or the mangrove (you can choose which), it's quieter, with fewer people. No matter where you are, you might run into some deer grazing peacefully, giving you inquisitive looks, and many small Capybara throughout the trees, birds, crows, cranes, etc… Beautifully colored pheasants may come to your table. It's a magical place. The staff is very friendly and patient. Al Yamm Villa Resort has an Italian restaurant in it. To go to the other restaurants you reserve a car, and the trip takes you around 10 min in between resorts. The drive is lovely. I highly recommend the safari tour of the animals. We did ours with “Younis” and he was a wonderful young chap from Morocco with a good fund of knowledge and curiosity in zoology. I highly recommend it. Overall it was an amazing, relaxing, experience that helps reset you!

Spent the day stuck here on an excursion from the MSC cruise ship. This place is not for African Americans. I was provided with bad service at the restaurant. Waited 2 hours for sub par food. After eating I discover my umbrella from my seat had been taken. The lifeguards refused to give me an umbrella. The focus of this resort is not for people of darker skin tones. I was looking forward to a relaxing beach day but was served racism instead. I would not recommend.

You may not have the time to read all the details but this was just the worst experience we have had in such a long time. I strongly do not recommend anyone to visit here. 1- we have made a booking 3 weeks in advance and received the schedule for ferry a night before our arrival with missing details of ferry schedule which led to a huge stress for missing the boat. 2- arrival at the resort starts with waiting for check in so we decided to have lunch, the restraunt smelled so bad that was unbearable to stay indoor, then the food arrived and quality was so poor ( lets not forget we staying in 5stars resort). Buggy arrived and no one was there to put our bags on the buggy. 3-We had food at Mediterranean restaurant and again really poor quality. 4- day after we ordered lunch at the pool and it never arrived so we went for spa with empty stomach - turned out spa was under renovation and they were using one of the villas which had two beds so once we finished we could not even relax because they had back to back booking. 5- as a result of poor quality of food we had food poisoning so stayed in the clinic half a day.

We went there for a 2 days vacation in order to celebrate our anniversary and would like to share the wonderful experience i had as the staff there made it really special for us. They took an extra effort to decorate our room. I would like to thank the team of Al yamm resort for this amazing experience. Rooms are clean with all necessary amenities provided. Private villa with pool is just amazing. The view is stunning, i really loved the concept of the way it is built with lovely peacocks snd deer moving around freely. Just one thing i felt which was quite disappointing was the food prices. With limited options it gets quite expensive. Also limited indian food options. Apart from that it was quite a heavenly experience.
