Anantara Mui Ne Resort

This hotel is extremely disappointing and far below what you would expect from an Anantara property. The location is good, directly on the beach in Mui Ne, and the food served by the pool is actually good. There is also a very kind lady in the kids’ playroom, and most of the staff are polite and friendly. Unfortunately, these few positives do not compensate for the overall experience. The hotel is very poorly maintained. The rooms and common areas are old, worn out, and clearly in need of serious renovation. The reality does not match the photos advertised online, which is misleading. Cleanliness is unacceptable: floors were dirty, and tables were covered with dust and debris. Management and guest care are where this hotel truly fails. When issues were raised, nothing was done. At check-out, the front desk did not ask whether we had a good stay or if anything was wrong. There was no interest, no follow-up, and no sense that anyone actually cares about the guest experience. This hotel has potential because of its location, but poor maintenance and weak management completely ruin it. I would strongly advise avoiding this property. There is another hotel just outside the gate that looks far better. We made a clear mistake booking this hotel.

Anantara Mui Ne is a beautiful beachfront resort with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The beach is very clean and well maintained, and the overall setting feels peaceful and high-quality. The breakfast is fantastic — great variety, fresh dishes, and everything well prepared. The staff are extremely professional, friendly, and always helpful, which really makes the stay feel special (Thanks Hung for the quick action taken for the switch of our room). The general facilities, gardens, and main pool area were all excellent. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay by the sea. ,Steve

We had a three night stay in a beautiful two bedroom villa at this resort. It was the perfect retreat after a few nights in Saigon. We were looked after exceptionally, staff were all very attentive either in the main restaurant or down at the pool bar. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and Bebe in charge of customer care organised us a lovely cake. Nothing was too much trouble. Stunning sandy beach too. Thank you for an outstanding stay.

We arrived at the hotel hoping for a peaceful stay. They gave us a room facing the main road with constant noise of cars and bikes. When I asked them to change the room they showed us some really bad options kind of forcing us to stay in the same room. The hotel is very old and not well maintained. Furnitures, floors, walls, equipment in the room like the phone do not work. Staff are quite nonchalant when you give them feedback. You can sense it from the answer to this review. They didn’t really try to make it right with us except showing us a few worse options. After multiple disappointing stays at different Anantara resorts( Sir Bani Yas, Pal Jumeirah and now Mui Ne), it is time to say good bye to Anantara which once was an amazing chain, 15 to 20 years back. It is now obvious that the management is trying to milk it a little too much. By the way if you stay in Mui Ne. Anam next door is an amazing option.

4 nights was nit enough for us! It was fantastic! beautiful beachfront location, combined with luxurious accommodations and attentive service, creates a perfect getaway. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the amenities, including the pool and dining options, are top-notch. Whether for relaxation or adventure, this resort provides an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mui Ne!
