I am very impressed with the overall service of the resort. All staffs (literally everbody!) were very kind, friendly, and always brought warm positive vibes along with them. I also felt very secured in staying at this resort. The guards were always alert but they were also very polite and nice at the same time. I am also very grateful that we met Victor, the Assistant Manager, who was very professional, attentive and always made sure our baby and us fully enjoy great experience at Anantara Mui Ne.

After an exceptional stay at The Anam Mui Ne Resort, we made the spontaneous decision to extend our time in Vietnam because we completely fell in love with the country. Due to the Lunar New Year holiday, our original resort was sold out, which brought us to Anantara Mui Ne Resort. I want to begin by recognizing the people who truly define this property. The staff were consistently gracious, warm, and genuinely kind. Every interaction reflected sincere hospitality and a clear desire to care for guests. Their professionalism and friendliness were without question the highlight of our stay. The culinary experience was outstanding. The food throughout the resort was refined, beautifully presented, and consistently high quality. Each meal felt thoughtfully prepared and elevated beyond what many resorts deliver. Dining here was a true strength of the property and a memorable part of our visit. The fitness center also deserves recognition. The gym was spacious, exceptionally clean, and offered an impressive variety of equipment that allowed for complete workouts while traveling. It is a well maintained and thoughtfully designed facility that many guests will appreciate. Unfortunately, the overall accommodations and communication did not align with expectations for a five star resort experience. Our initial room was large and attractive, however it was categorized as a garden view despite directly facing a busy street. The constant traffic noise and honking significantly diminished the sense of relaxation one expects at a luxury resort. Compounding this issue, the room had no reliable hot water. When we raised these concerns, the staff responded kindly and attempted to assist by offering a room two floors higher within the same category. While we appreciated the effort, the fundamental issues remained. We were eventually relocated to a true garden view room, which was an improvement, yet the hot water problems unfortunately continued. The most disappointing moment occurred at check in when we were informed for the first time that we would be required to pay an additional 90 USD per person for a compulsory Lunar New Year dinner. Because our reservation had already become nonrefundable, this unexpected charge felt deeply uncomfortable and created an immediate sense of lost trust. Special holiday events are completely understandable, but mandatory charges of this nature should be communicated clearly before booking, not upon arrival. Learning about a significant required expense only after committing to a stay felt less like hospitality and more like a surprise obligation. We genuinely enjoy investing in exceptional food, experiences, and accommodations while traveling. However, part of luxury travel is the freedom to make personal choices based on individual preferences and dietary needs. Transparency is essential to maintaining the confidence guests place in a five star brand. While the kindness of the staff and the excellent food left strong positive impressions, the property itself felt dated compared to modern luxury standards. Combined with room inconsistencies, ongoing maintenance issues, and unexpected compulsory charges, the experience ultimately fell short of what we associate with a true five star stay. Mui Ne is a beautiful destination, and Anantara has an outstanding team capable of delivering remarkable hospitality. With clearer communication, improved maintenance, and thoughtful updates to the physical property, this resort has the potential to fully reflect the level of service its staff already provides.

This hotel is extremely disappointing and far below what you would expect from an Anantara property. The location is good, directly on the beach in Mui Ne, and the food served by the pool is actually good. There is also a very kind lady in the kids’ playroom, and most of the staff are polite and friendly. Unfortunately, these few positives do not compensate for the overall experience. The hotel is very poorly maintained. The rooms and common areas are old, worn out, and clearly in need of serious renovation. The reality does not match the photos advertised online, which is misleading. Cleanliness is unacceptable: floors were dirty, and tables were covered with dust and debris. Management and guest care are where this hotel truly fails. When issues were raised, nothing was done. At check-out, the front desk did not ask whether we had a good stay or if anything was wrong. There was no interest, no follow-up, and no sense that anyone actually cares about the guest experience. This hotel has potential because of its location, but poor maintenance and weak management completely ruin it. I would strongly advise avoiding this property. There is another hotel just outside the gate that looks far better. We made a clear mistake booking this hotel.

4 nights was nit enough for us! It was fantastic! beautiful beachfront location, combined with luxurious accommodations and attentive service, creates a perfect getaway. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the amenities, including the pool and dining options, are top-notch. Whether for relaxation or adventure, this resort provides an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mui Ne!

Room Condition & Design The room was poorly maintained and unhygienic. The floor was dirty and sticky, and overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory. The toilet could not flush properly due to very weak water pressure, the bathroom water was unclean and yellow in color, and the water button was not functioning. In addition, the room was noisy due to ineffective soundproofing. The hotel layout was poorly designed and inconvenient, as the room was located very far from the lift, making access inefficient and uncomfortable for guests. Staff & Service The staff were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. They frequently complained to guests, repeatedly stating “cannot do this” or “cannot do that,” despite there being no signs indicating any restrictions in those areas. Instead of providing clear explanations or alternatives, the staff failed to find solutions and demonstrated weak problem-solving skills. There also appeared to be discriminatory behavior toward Vietnamese guests, which further contributed to the negative experience.
