Friendly staff, very welcoming and informative. We stayed in a room with a private pool and swing. Very romantic. Walking distance to the beach, they offer chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Nice views for pictures. Tree top restaurant is amazing.

We had 4 nights at the resort and were staying at the pool access villa. We love the lush and quiet surroundings, and the staff were all smiles. The rooms were beautiful, we love that there's always ample drinking water provided.
The bed wasn't good, they sank in the middle. We had to request a mattress change after 2 nights, but the changed mattress sank again after 2 nights. Maybe it's seasonal, there were also lotsa flies at the beach front dining.
We'd love to be back, soon.

We went there for signature dining in tree top restaurant and we have to say we didn't regret the choice. Perfect for celebrations. The menu selection was just as special as the place and wine pairing was really good. All staff new what they are doing and were very professional. Big thanks to chefs as the menu was extraordinary. Especially the smoked oysters. Thank you for the lovely evening and can't wait for a new tasting menu.

My stay at the Anantara was nothing short of fantastic. Nestled in the stunning Koh Samui coast, this resort is a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and warmth. The rooms were spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered a lovely veranda. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. Breakfast was a highlight – delicious, locally sourced, and plentiful. If you’re looking for a cozy retreat with all the comforts of home while exploring the beauty of Koh Samui, Anantara Lawana is the place to be. I am looking forward to our next trip.

Everything was excellent apart from the communication between the staff.
My wife had emailed the customer service team to arrange the room to be decorated prior to our arrival, this did not happen despite her reconfirming with the check in staff.
The check in staff also made the mistake of informing me of a surprise breakfast and dinner my wife had arranged. Considering all of the emails exchanged mention for my husband etc... this was also disappointing.
Had 2 requests from reception (luggage stand and a buggy to take us to dinner) both times we had to ask twice which was a little disappointing.
We went on a cooking class which was absolutely excellent. Chef may was fun and a good teacher!
Hotel beach was excellent. Option to go kayaking was great.
