We, a group of 8 people recently went for a day out. The place was very nice. And the staff was very welcoming. I'm not kidding there was also a welcome dance! Some of the things were strange but in a good way.
Like we got a full 14' margarita pizza as an appetizer for a single person. And it was more than the main course itself. And during evening tea we ordered two teas and two coffees. They served us two teapots with seven cusps and sauces for some reason and coffee never came.
Two of us were staying the night so we could see the rooms, which were very comfortable, with usual facilities.
The overall experience was good. But we are still wondering who designed the lunch menu.

It was a nice experience to spend a night in this hotel. The cleanliness, the vibe of the room and the pool were amazing. Food was also good. There were several selections and varieties of food from Sri Lankan to Western. The maintenance of the pool and the gardens were up to the standard. You can take a nice walk inside the hotel and to the beach too.
The hotel has a time table for kids activities and they have arrangements for baby sitting as well.

The rooms were beautiful and the staff, especially the housekeeping team was excellent and very attentive and responsive. The food was excellent. The location is convenient and beautiful. The only catch was that the beach, which is considered public, was not clean with trash and also a dead animal carcass. With corporate social responsibility, it would be great if hotels like Anantara and the neighboring Avani, provided a beach cleaning service without waiting for the public services to do it. After all, the beach is a big part of the attraction that benefits the hotels.

We had a fantastic day outing package, complemented by amazing food. A special thanks to Chathuka from the front office, who ensured we were comfortable throughout our visit. His thoughtful approach and genuine interest in asking about our experience made a positive impact.

We went for the day package check us in took more than 30 minutes just to swipe up the card even though we were the only one was waiting at that time.
Swimming pool is so big but so many tile marked which give the impression of dirt or sea sand l.
Lunch buffet was out of the word surprise it was so good and have many varieties from seafood to desserts.
I strongly suggest the management to concentrated on training on customer service.
In summary value for money.
