Wonderful Birthday Stay!
I spent my birthday at this hotel and had such a great experience. The room was spacious and included a bathtub, which made the stay even more relaxing. I also enjoyed the beautiful sea view overlooking the swimming pool — it was absolutely stunning. To make my birthday even more special, the hotel surprised me with a complimentary cake and sweets, which I truly appreciated. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. I really loved it here and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Stayed in a suite with lounge access and beach view for 1 week. The room itself was fantastic. Was huge, well equipped with free water, drinks making, any amenities you might need, large TV, good air-conditioning and a balcony. We stayed as a family but I'd say that despite the booking the room really isn't meant for 4, as the other 2 beds were a pull out and the sofa. We arrived at 2am in the morning and the beds hadn't been setup for 4, which was a little frustration, but didn't really bother us. The room had two bathrooms, and one with a walk-in wardrobe off the bedroom. This had a huge bath, shower, and toilet along with two basins. The other bathroom was off the lounge area with a single basin, shower and toilet. Large TV in lounge and bedroom. A table with 4 chairs, sofa was also on the room and more storage than you could ever need for a short stay. The balcony was large but only had a small table and two chairs. On the lounge area, it's on the top floor which not many have access to (room type/status). The lounge offers a limited breakfast versus the main restaurant, afternoon tea, and happy hours in the evening. We did go into the lonnge a few times for pre dinner drinks. It was always quiet and lacked a bit of atmosphere, but the staff were great and very attentive. There's an exit off level 2 to the pool and access to the beach, and an exit from the main reception. There's also grocery stores very close to the hotel if you need anything at all. Why a 4 star then, and not a 5. The elevators are a real pain, there are only 3 and in busy periods if you're somewhere in the middle become impossible, with people getting in on the way up, and then no space to go down, at one point we waited for more than 10 minutes before we pressed the up button and got in one on the way up to go back down. Secondly, the shower in the main bathroom did have a leak and I wouldn't have expected this for such a high quality room. It wasn't a massive issue so didn't report this, but I'd have expected this to have been noticed before. Third - they have private events at the pool at night which is fine but be prepared for very loud music which permeates into you room until midnight which could be an issue for sleeping children, adults who need their beauty sleep, or those nights where you need to sleep early because you've got an early morning flight. Lastly on 2 of the 7 nights both TVs received some control code and turned on around 3am in the morning showing the welcome screen which just lit up the bedroom and living areas and woke people up. Last point, it is on a busy road junction so be prepared for lots of traffic and honking horns, and people with expensive cars and noisy exhausts. It's so busy it's actually quite easy to cross. This was exacerbated by road works during our stay. Regardless I really enjoyed the stay and would go back.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived and was assisted by security officer Daniel. He is very professional and polite. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it an ideal place to unwind after a long day of exploring. The amenities were exceptional, particularly the pool area, which provided breathtaking views of the beach. I also appreciated the variety of dining options available, which included delicious meals tailored to different tastes. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Amwaj Rotana and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway. I can't wait to return in the future and make more wonderful memories at this incredible hotel.

We originally booked Dukes The Palm, but after a recommendation from my cousin Shahaid, who now lives in Dubai, we decided to switch to Amwaj Rotana — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, the experience was perfect. My cousin introduced us to many of the staff since he’s quite friendly with them, and every single person went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The service, food, and overall atmosphere were exceptional — truly 5-star in every way. Thank you Mustafa and Habib also! We enjoyed our stay so much that my sister-in-law has already booked her visit for next month! Thank you to everyone at Amwaj Rotana for making our trip unforgettable.
