While the location of this hotel is excellent, the rooms are in poor condition with badly fitting bedding and showers that leak onto bathroom floor. Food is very very poor, cold, very rarely labelled or only partially labeled. Often very little choice. It could have a very nice private beach but beach area neglected and a 30ft unfenced drop onto beach from approach path. Showers for late checkout guests in gym that is now closed, disgusting. Unfortunately there is nothing very positive to say apart from the grounds.

Rooms smells of sewage, Bathroom -under sink and sink tap mouldy, shower rusty and filthy, mirror damp and dirty, Bedroom - Air con not adequate, sheets not changed ever, towels rarely changed or none provided and when provided wouldn't clean my dog with them, tea and coffee facilities provided but no milk, rooms not cleaned, fridge iced up and leaking drawers filthy, curtains grubby and broken, fly screen door ripped, chair bed filthy and stained, dresser chair stained and dirty, pillows flat grubby and only one provided. Food in hotel disgusting there are no words not hot not correct on discription will have meat in when says not, repetitive, Management not interested unhelpful rude.

My wife and I booked a weeks holiday with TUI from the 2 - 9th of September at the Ammos resort, Kos based on TUI and the hotels description of the hotel being -
“ where we would discover a hotel with a new level of indulgence in its stylish decor and indulge in a culinary journey “
Unfortunately what you are presented with at the Ammos is none of the above.
The hotel is long overdue a refurbishment and it shows everywhere.
Our room had not been properly cleaned for years, was quickly cleaned once during our stay, if we needed clean towels we would get them off the cleaner in the corridor.
The food is uninspiring, often cold, and overcooked.
The first two nights we went to eat an hour into the 3 hour meal time to be faced with lots of empty trays - when we asked about replenishing them we were told the food had all gone and that was that.
Guests regularly cleared and cleaned tables themselves so that they could sit down and would fetch cutlery from draws whilst the staff talked amongst themselves.
Any complaints to the staff and managers was not acted upon.
We rang the TUI representative’s number off the TUI notice board which was not answered.
We sent a text to the same number and were eventually told to raise a concern on line - no help here then - we wanted to be moved to another hotel now which was of the standard we had been sold.
To avoid disappointment at meal times we ended up eating real Greek food away from the hotel at lunchtimes and 2 nights during the week.
To conclude -
We were sold a holiday which does not exist at this hotel.
TUI should stop sending guests to the Ammos resort now.

We moved rooms 3 x times within 12 hours of arriving..initially wrong room we paid for superior sèa view room
.2nd room.had filthy bed topper..
Then after another. 2 hours waiting again for a cleaned room it's now 4.30am in the morning by this time .
Then room 3...still not we wanted but sooo tired couldn't be bothered..
Food absolutely disgusting 🤢
But Jet2 very nice, we had already done all the above ourselves because it was the middle of the night
Would I recommend you to go..

The hotel is in need of a make over. It is well situated if you just want a hotel on its own with limited all inclusive facilities. Our superior room had a lovely sea view, but the bathroom was in need of updating. Cleaning was minimal. The pool area was nice if a little scruffy round the edges. There is only one bar, the pool bar which was an issue on wet days and chilly nights. Staff were friendly but seemed under pressure. The hotel is a good 40 minutes walk from the pleasant seaside village of Mastichari, or 10 euros by taxi. Too many issues for us to want to return.
