Hi. I have just got home from 1 weeks stay at Ammon Zeus hotel. I did have a wonderful time. The staff are brilliant and I found hotel to be clean and welcoming. Its a shame that you lose the sun in the afternoons. We were lucky to get beds around the pool on a few days but not all days so we sat in the shade on the beech. Not really what we were hoping for. I wonder if any of the staff have actually sat in the chairs in the outside bar area. They really are uncomfortable and made it so we would only stay for one drink after dinner. The buffet was good. But I would like to have known what was on the menu each night. Breakfast was always lovely. The rooms are a bit small but I guess you can not do much about that. I would like a bit more lighting around the hotel at night. If you walked up to the town it is a very steep hill and the ground was un-even. We used our phones as lights. But these are just little things. The location is excellent right on the beech with a few bars and taverna close by. Regards Mandy

Pros: one of the best beaches in front of the hotel. Cons: very hard access to anything else. There is a very incline road to get to the rest of the things close. Very hard to walk. Need a car to get around. Service is average. You cannot get food other than the buffet. We arrived around 4pm and they wouldn’t serve any kind of food until the night buffet. Don’t know how this is a 5star hotel.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ammon Zeus! And bear in mind we have a very active and cheeky toddler!! The hotel is clean with a great location, rooms are spacious enough for 3 people. The beach is simply mind blowing with its calm turquoise waters and of course all necessary facilities. Special thanks to the head chef and his team who created a delicious and varied menu. We stayed 11 days and never got bored of the food. The staff was incredibly friendly, always greeting you will a smile, and ready to help. But the absolute star there was Stefanos - he is truly the heart and soul of this hotel! Apart from instantly addressing all our requests he made us feel like home! At some point I simply forgot I was at the hotel with some rules and schedules, it just felt like endless joy and bliss where I didn't have to worry about anything at all! And I can't thank him enough for that! I wish there were more people like Stefanos in hospitality sector who truly cares about the guests. Hats off! Highly recommend this hotel, especially for parents.

In general, a wonderful experience: the location facing the sea (5 minutes walk from the center), the very kind and very competent staff, the excellent cuisine, made our holiday fantastic. We always felt pampered and cared for. The sea is definitely suitable for children with warm water and shallow water, without stones and shells. The structure is equipped with a playroom for children which we really appreciated. The small improvements to be made and gaps are far outweighed by the merits. Recommended

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel - i took my mum and mother in law for a ladies relaxing break. We stayed in the penthouse and loved the perk of having a cabana on the beach front, we made use of this facility daily. The staff are all very helpful and friendly but especially the hostess Katerina and the food and beverage manager Stefanos, they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay and to help where they could. The one thing we thought they could improve on - and we did mention it during our stay - is that the cleaning and replenishing of the tea/coffee/milk/clean glasses and mugs could have been more consistent. It was annoying to keep calling housekeeping/reception to bring something that was forgotton in the room. Thank you to all of the staff for making our overall stay amazing! We have already recommended this hotel to others and would be happy to come again next season.
