WOW!! We had our wedding at Amirandes in September 2025 and I wish I could rewind back to this amazing day. If you are thinking of booking your wedding or just simply a holiday, then Amirandes is the place to go! Nothing is too big for any of the hotel staff, they are attentive, polite and willing to go above and beyond for anyone. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. We do not have one bad word to say about this hotel, I wish we could go back to our wedding day and do it all over again knowing just how amazing the hotel and everyone in it is! All of our guests had an amazing time and have commented on how great the hotel is! We can’t wait to book to come back!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely outstanding. From the very first moment, we felt welcomed and cared for in the best way possible. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering both comfort and style. The dining experience was excellent – a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes, with options to satisfy every taste, including meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan choices. Every meal was a pleasure. The pool area was spotless, relaxing, and well-maintained, with plenty of space to unwind. The location of the hotel is ideal – close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. But what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was kind, professional, and attentive. Most of all, I want to highlight Katerina, the Front Desk Manager. She was the heart of our experience – welcoming us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. She didn’t just provide excellent service; she went above and beyond to make sure our family felt comfortable and supported at all times. Whether it was answering questions, assisting with requests, or simply checking in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, Katerina’s dedication and kindness were remarkable. She turned a wonderful vacation into an unforgettable one, and we are deeply grateful for her efforts. This hotel is a gem – highly recommended, and we will definitely return

We booked a week here for my birthday. We arrived at 5am to a nicely decorated room - my partner had bought balloons, fruit platter, etc. as a surprise - but they forgot the cake. No big deal, except they forgot to bring it the entire day... Housekeeping deserves a raise though. They kept our room spotless. Then, the restaurant had our reservation type incorrect - it was marked as only Breakfast included. After a friendly debacle, it was fixed, yet the Dine Club program was overly confusing; we got different explanations of how it worked from every staff member we asked. You get a full breakfast and dinner... but only in the buffet restaurant... and the grecotel kids corner that touts lunch and snacks is free for under 12s... but only in the buffet restaurant ... where the parents have to sit awkwardly and watch them eat. No grab & go snack area for kids at this hotel. We were repeatedly asked about vouchers (??) when we fined in the 'á la carte' restaurants, quickly deciding it was more enjoyable to eat lunch or dinner at local restaurants anyways. It was €90 for two sandwiches and four drinks at the beach bar, which were nothing special. The breakfast buffet was admittedly good, so we did eat there every morning. Regarding the sports & facilities: our kids were apparently told they needed to reserve the tennis courts for €25 just to hit a ball around when no one else was playing. The tennis instructor was insanely rude when we encountered him at checkout, wagging his finger at our kids that he warned them about the fee and "he's seen these guys multiple times". Unacceptable behaviour. The main pool was pretty but freezing so we didn't use it. Should I keep going? ... We booked a family room with a pool yet the groundskeeping consistently work late morning to midday, so the whole time you're laying out there you have to listen to leaf blowers and lawn mowers. Can't they do this early in the morning? Or early evening? Any other time than 11 am to 2 pm would be good. As active travelers, we're always seeking adventure. So we asked concierge for help 2 days in a row to create an itinerary. Concierge went back and forth with us over WhatsApp, never actually making us a schedule for our time there. We requested to book a sailboat & snorkeling excursion on a specific day. The woman said yes, no problem, and proceeded to ask questions to make the booking. We woke up early that morning to go, only to be told we were "not on the list". Front desk debated my partner that we were somehow at fault ... Until he showed them the WhatsApp messages. The woman at concierge avoided us the rest of our stay. Honestly, the best days were the ones we spent away from the hotel. We booked our own excursions, drove to hidden gem beaches, and ate in little villages nearby. We left angry and that's not a nice feeling on holiday. I'm deeply disappointed with this stay, given the previous experience we had at Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama in Rhodes which was wonderful. In short: it was architecturally stunning but a customer service catastrophe.

Our stay in Crete was incredible. The resort is so picturesque. We even saw a couple getting married there, a true testament to how beautiful the backdrop is. Our room was spacious, luxurious, and spotless. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel well taken care of. The Olympic-sized pool was one of the nicest we’ve ever seen. The location couldn’t be better: beachfront, yet also within walking distance to several local restaurants. This resort is the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

We stayed at this hotel last year, and although some time has passed, we still have very warm memories and finally got around to writing a review. What really stood out was the wonderful staff — especially Polina and Maria at the reception. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their welcoming attitude made us feel truly taken care of. The hotel itself was also excellent: clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Everything was well-organized and thoughtfully arranged. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Thank you for the great experience!
