From the moment of arrival at Amatara Wellness Resort Phuket, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Jasper at reception. The check-in experience was elevated with a beautifully presented Thai tea—delightfully fragrant and energizing—which immediately set the tone for the stay. Jasper’s genuine warmth and wonderful personality made us feel truly cared for. The resort itself is a sanctuary of serenity: stunning sunsets, breathtaking infinity pools, peaceful nights, and magical moonlit skies. Every detail feels intentional and calming. Breakfast at Siri Restaurant was absolutely fabulous. The buffet offered incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared selections, including vibrant fresh fruit juices, Thai cuisine staples that were succulent and full of flavor, and made-to-order eggs cooked to perfection. The omelettes were flawless, and every dish felt thoughtfully crafted. A special mention goes to the gentleman preparing the eggs each morning—while I regret not asking his name, his hospitality deserves recognition. He greeted guests daily with a warm smile, happy to prepare your omelette, Guay Tiew (ก๋วยเตี๋ยว)Made-to-order Thai noodle soup or whatever you wished, always attentive and genuinely joyful. It’s a reminder that true customer hospitality is a names business, and his presence made each morning feel personal and welcoming. The entire team consistently delivers exceptional service, anticipating every need with grace. This has been an absolutely wonderful experience—a true slice of heaven on earth and a jewel of the Andaman Sea. Highly recommended.

Hands down one of the best properties in Phuket. The hotel seemed new and maintained, sufficient vegetarian options in the menu. The receptionist was very welcoming to all our queries and they provided us with a free upgrade as well. Special mention to "Jasper" who patiently addressed our questions and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Since we had an early morning flight, they kept a breakfast basket ready for us to take on the go, without us even asking or mentioning the same. The housekeeping was very thorough and clean rooms. Hotel itself was located at a beautiful cliff with an amazing view to enjoy at all times with their private beach. Truly a wonderful stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days, at the end of November–beginning of December Benefits: The rooms are stunning, very beautifully designed. Excellent service — the reception staff and housekeeping were great. There is a sauna and steam room in the gym. We really liked the beach area for swimming with a toddler. The kids’ room is a real lifesaver for parents. Cons:: It was my birthday, but there was no compliment from the hotel, even though we mentioned it during booking. The breakfasts are at the level of a 3-star hotel: only one type of chicken, no meat, and the selection is very poor. And this is a 5-star hotel during high season? The only edible items at breakfast were eggs Benedict with a small slice of salmon, an almond croissant (available only 2 out of 3 days), smoked chicken, and fresh vegetables. That’s it — there was nothing else to choose from. Hotels of a lower category had much more varied breakfasts. We were left disappointed.

This is an outstanding 4 Star hotel, but since it's billed as 5 Star, I was consistently disappointed. The staff and overall experience is lacking for a 5 star hotel. First the good, the wellness center was excellent and exceeded my expectations. The staff were well trained and super friendly. The location is stellar with amazing views. The room was spacious and well designed. Now the annoying, there was no hand wash at the sinks and when I asked for some, it came after 3 calls. I asked for a sanitary napkin and they told me to order them from Grab. A 5 star resort didn't have maxi pads when a solid 50% of the guests are women. The food was mediocre and the sprawling and hilly grounds are so huge that golf carts are needed but not always available. Guests with mobility issues would find this a huge challenge. Little personalized touches and service common with the expectations of 5 star is simply missing.

The Villa is so wonderful, also the cleaning here. Perfect location and view. The customer service is not that good (the Restaurant Scene, neither is the food, the staff was very young people, that didn’t know much or speaking English ex.). That's why we don't join the New Year EVENT, but absolutely chose Restaurant SIRI, very good food, customer service, we love it (has eaten there many nights). We love Natty, the waitrese at breakfast and by the pool, she is AMAZING and the rest of the staff is so good to. The staff at Restaurant SIRI are so good with the customer service. Just want to tell you, that I have been working in the Sale Department for 35 years from starting being af Sales Consult, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Director in Denmark.
