Extremely Disappointing Stay — Not Up to Amari Standards We are currently staying at Amari Vogue, and it’s been a very disappointing experience, especially after our fantastic stay at Amari Phuket. The difference in quality and hospitality is honestly shocking. The room we were given is in poor condition — no view, a constant bad smell, and signs of neglect everywhere. The wood on the door is cracked and breaking, the furniture is stained, and the overall space feels old and poorly maintained. To make things worse, hospitality is lacking. Even basic drinking water is only available in overpriced bottles at their restaurants, which feels petty and exploitative for a property in this category. We tried the food hoping it might redeem the experience, but it was strictly average at best — nothing memorable or worth the price. This place seems to be riding on the Amari brand name without offering the quality, service, or experience you’d expect. It’s disappointing and absolutely not worth what they charge.

What an exceptional stay!! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Amari. The food was excellent throughout and the service was amazing. Everyone was beyond helpful, and the staff were very welcoming. A big shoutout to Cream, Kik, Noah, Nee, Pim, and Pam for making our stay even better. The amenities of the hotel were very accommodating and the beach was serene too. We also did a cooking class with the wonderful in-house chef who taught us various local dishes, which we loved! Overall, our stay was a great experience and we would love to return one day.

Overall this is a very nice hotel, it just didn't meet expectations of a 5 star hotel. Pros: grounds are lovely and well kept Restaurant is nice. Beach is great for walking and exploring (very large tidal range). Cons: isolated- but we did know that when we booked. There are other restaurants you can walk to along the beach but they're all part of hotels, so more of an upscale feel (and pricey). We stayed in the two bed villa, and I guess at that price point I expected a bit more- the most surprising to me was the condition of the furniture. Couch and chairs were covered in stains. The 'outdoor' bathroom had it's nice bits, but the plywood ceiling just didn't work and when it rained black bits fell onto everything. I can't comment on the rooms- which were much cheaper. But for what the villas cost I'd expect cleaner furniture. Otherwise hotel is very nice.

We had a very nice 5 night stay. The staff was wonderful and grounds are stunning. Only complaint was the numerous flights of stairs to get to the beach and restaurant/bar. There were more kids than I expected which made the main pool feel crowded.

I recently stayed at Amari Vogue Krabi and, prior to my arrival, I searched online for halal food options at the resort. Multiple travel and review sites indicated that halal food was available upon request, which gave me the confidence to proceed with my booking. Upon arrival, several staff members at the resort confirmed that halal options were available at both the breakfast venue and Marco’s Restaurant. However, when I visited Marco’s, a staff member clarified that while some meats are indeed halal-sourced, the kitchen does not maintain segregation between halal and non-halal items. This means that halal meats and non-halal items are prepared and cooked using the same equipment and facilities. For Muslim guests who strictly observe halal dietary requirements, this lack of separation may be a concern, as it may not meet the standard of halal food preparation. I appreciated the staff’s honesty, but I believe this is an important detail that should be clearly communicated on official channels to help Muslim travellers make an informed decision. I hope this review helps others with similar dietary considerations and also encourages the hotel to consider implementing more inclusive kitchen practices in the future.
