I can honestly say this was one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at in my life. I’ve been to the Maldives twice before, but this time was completely different and truly exceptional. The resort is spotless, and the staff are kind, polite, and respectful, which made the entire experience unique and memorable. It’s an excellent choice for families, with very fair pricing and complete honesty in everything. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, and each villa has a dedicated assistant who is always helpful, attentive, and quick to respond. I would especially like to mention Achala, who made our stay truly extraordinary. The restaurants offer a wide variety of delicious options, and the chefs and waiters are all outstanding. Every meal felt special thanks to their service and quality. Special thanks to Mo in the main restaurant, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional, always making sure we were well taken care of. I also want to thank Chef Suyruia whose cooking was absolutely delicious and added a warm, authentic touch to our dining experience. We had the most beautiful vacation here, and I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to everyone, regardless of nationality or background. The staff are respectful of all cultures and religions, and they have speakers of many languages, including Arabic, which makes everything easier and more welcoming. This is a beautiful property on an island. Excellent facilities. They take very good care of guests. Lots of good food and drink. Excellent hospitality. Lubhan, Suriya, Mary, Mo and Amatty took great care to give us food to our liking. Even going out of the way to satisfy us. Jerry and Lester took care of all our logistics, like reservations for restaurants, spa, cruises, snorkeling etc. Would highly recommend this to anyone interested in going.

Our stay at Raaya by Atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The location and layout of the resort is amazing and both the beach and water villas are outstanding with all amenities. All the staff are extremely hospitable and attentive. The level of service and the quality of food and beverages served at all the different dining areas is top class. From a traditional welcome as we arrived till the the time we departed every service is top class.

My husband and I went to Raaya by Atmosphere for our honeymoon and we had such a great time! I’ll break my review down into three aspects - Staff, Food, and activities. STAFF First up, the staff at Raaya were incredible! This is our first time in Maldives, so we don’t know how normal this is but everyone was so warm and friendly. Besides our Island Manager, Achala (who was very ready to help us with any questions and helped me stay on track with reminders on the things we booked), we also met many wonderful people, such as Mo, Mary, and Amir, who were from various restaurants/places in the island and were always engaging and ready to help or give a recommendation. Unfortunately, it is a big flaw of mine that I don’t remember names or the list would be longer! FOOD We also have nothing but good things to say about the food. Because we had 4 meals at speciality restaurants, one floating breakfast, and one candlelight dinner, we didn’t get sick of the main dining hall (Raaya Life). Breakfast was also a highlight of the day. I enjoyed the fresh juice bar very much because we could customise the juices, and my husband and I absolutely loved this nutella pastry they had. We had it almost every time it was available. It’s not a breakfast food but I also want to mention the fried risotto balls they had at the poolside – it’s a great blend of tomato sauce and cheese and I probably ordered it every time we went to the pool to snack or eat! ACTIVITIES As part of the Raaya plan, the sunset cruise, sunset fishing cruise, and the 45 minute spa were pre-booked for us. The sunset cruises were a great way to see the sunset and we found it very relaxing. When it came to the spa, we actually had three options we could choose from, so you don’t have to worry that you don’t like what’s on the menu. Apart from these, you can also book the daily snorkelling tour to the house reef – it’s a one hour snorkelling trip and it was great for us (I was totally new to snorkelling and found myself enjoying it a lot more than expected!). They do have paid diving and snorkelling tours too, as well as manta ray and dolphin tours, but we did not opt for those as our days were full enough. Every day, you can also head over to the activity center to assembly your dhoni boat, and I think there’s a dhoni boat race every other day. There is also a sports center where we played mini golf, but where there are plenty of other activities too, like petanque and tennis. We went there twice and it seemed pretty empty both times, which meant we didn’t have to queue or wait for anyone. OVERALL We had an amazing time and we would recommend Raaya by Atmosphere to anyone (especially first time visitors to Maldives like us) who would like a welcoming, all-inclusive resort that has plenty to do.

From the moment we arrived at Raaya by Atmosphere, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes by our gracious host, Katrina. Her hospitality set the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay in paradise. Our beach villa with a private pool was the perfect sanctuary for our family. Surrounded by breathtaking views and thoughtfully designed amenities, it offered both comfort and elegance. The room was impeccably clean, and the snacks and minibar were a delightful touch. The team went above and beyond to decorate our villa entrance and room in celebration of our anniversary—an effort that truly touched us. Thank you Imhaz. Raaya strikes a beautiful balance between privacy and vibrant energy. Whether we wanted quiet moments or a lively atmosphere, the resort delivered. The sports facilities kept us entertained well into the evening, with paddle tennis, football, and mini golf among the highlights. Dining at Raaya was a daily joy. The buffet consistently impressed with its variety and freshness, especially the desserts—some of the best we've ever had in a buffet setting. While the meat in some dishes was not the best quality, the sauces more than compensated, bursting with flavour and perfectly complemented by freshly made naans and rotis. Chef Shyamal stood out as a true gem—kind, attentive, and incredibly talented. He ensured every palate was catered to with care. His passion for his craft was evident in the food we ate. Mo in the buffet also deserves special praise; despite being busy, he made each meal feel personal, even making our drinks himself, always with a warm smile. Chef Suriya, Chanchal, and Lubhan were equally welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The resort’s restaurants were exceptional, with The Village and Ampersand being particular favourites. Ampersand dazzled with its stunning backdrop, stylish bar, and the infectious energy of DJ Dora. The food was sublime, and the service from Himanshu and Sangeeta was excellent. If we had to suggest improvements, it would be the cocktails. They often leaned too syrupy and didn’t quite match the resort’s otherwise impeccable standards. That said, Sam at the pool bar was outstanding—her service and attentiveness were exemplary, and she did all she could to enhance our experience. Our snorkelling experience had a few hiccups, but the resort staff were proactive and did their best to resolve the issues swiftly and professionally. One of the most admirable aspects of Raaya is its commitment to sustainability. From eco-conscious architecture and energy-efficient systems to locally sourced ingredients and community engagement, the resort embodies responsible luxury. It’s clear that Raaya is not just a beautiful destination—it’s a place that respects and nurtures its environment and people. We left Raaya with hearts full of gratitude and memories we’ll cherish forever. Every member of the team contributed to making our stay extraordinary. Thank you for creating a little slice of paradise—we really can’t wait to return.
