I really enjoy this place. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s built with small private houses with terraces or large balconies. The hotel has 3 pools and part of it is located on the beach. Even if you have to cross the road to access the beach or the swimming pool, you are one minute away from the water. The staff is so nice and friendly. Amazing service at the front desk, in the Restaurant and even the housekeeping.
The only down point is that it’s is a family Hotel (I didn’t know while booking) meaning lots of families, lots, lots of kids who can be loud just being kids and some parents don’t care. The huge breakfast buffet area gives you so many choices, but I preferred to avoid the breakfast because of the loud children in the restaurant or at the pool. I’ve got very upset seeing how much food the families brought on the table, did not even eat half of it, and was sent to the trash. Some customers have no respect for food or for customers around… but I guess it’s always the issue with buffet.
If you don’t mind about the down side, this place is for you and I will come back again!
The last major point of the hotel is the beach with the water crystal clear and white sand, that’s awesome!
Highly recommended.

Recently flew from Australia and stayed in Amari Koh Samui. It was an amazing experience , from the beautiful views, great walks along the beach .A breakfast that kept us going till happy hour and dinner .Amari was well situated for lots of eating experiences.
Loved having three pools, never felt over crowded .
All these things are great , but what makes Amari better, is the staff .From the smiling people who stopped the cars to cross the road .Always a smile and a good morning .And as we are Aussie , I introduced high five .Our breakfast , and our wonderful Pennapa ( Pen ) who makes the best iced coffee, answered questions , and gave us ideas for experiences. A huge Thank You .We have taken away the most wonderful memories. Thank you to every single person from the kitchen , to cleaning our rooms , to making drinks for Happy Hour .You are truly the best .

We recently had a pleasure to stay at Amari Samui resort. Our stay was truly a dream come true. The rooms we were given were absolutely perfect, and the variety of the breakfast offerings delighted us each morning. The location is exceptional, providing the perfect balance between stepping into the vibrant Chaweng Main Street and retreating into the peaceful quiet of the hotel grounds.
In conclusion, we want to express our deep gratitude to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We sincerely hope to return in the near future.

Currently staying at the Amari for five nights, and, unfortunately, it has turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences we've had in Koh Samui.
When we first checked in, we were given a room with a water leak from the air conditioning unit. Naturally, we reported this to the staff, expecting a quick resolution. While they did offer to change our room, their response felt more like a mere formality than a sincere effort to make things right. We hoped that the new room would be better, but our troubles were only beginning.
The next night, we discovered that the ceiling in the new room was leaking as well. Water was dripping onto the floor and soaking one of the blankets. More troubling was the fact that the leak was close to the light fixtures, creating a serious risk of electrocution. When we informed the staff, their reaction was disappointing, offering us two options: move to another room for 2 people (we were 3) for the night and/or wait until the next day for repairs. This meant spending the night in a room that was not only uncomfortable but potentially dangerous.
Adding to the frustration, the attitude of the staff throughout all of this was far from welcoming. They were unhelpful, indifferent, and even condescending at times.
Beyond these immediate problems, the overall state of the hotel was a letdown. The rooms were not as clean as one would hope, particularly the bathrooms, which left much to be desired (and did not match the photos promoted on the hotel/booking hotels platforms). The so-called renovated amenities felt outdated, lacking of modern comfort.
The breakfast was passable but leaned heavily toward Western tastes, with only a few local dishes available.
In conclusion, our stay at Amari has been full of frustrations and disappointments. From the faulty rooms and safety concerns to the poor service and uninspiring amenities, this experience has been far below our expectations.
Sadly, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Koh Samui.

Definitely not a 5 🌟.
This place is a mixed bag.
If I only stayed in the front part of the hotel then I'd probably give it a 4 star. Food out front was amazing. Pool great. View lovely. We stayed in the other part of the villa across a super busy road. It's very tired and run down so you can't call it 5 stars. A solid 3 over the road.
The pros are. Good pool. Good aircon. Child care 2 hrs free a day. OK beds. good drinks. With a happy hour. breakfast is it's saving grace and amazing.
The Cons are.
Very tired hotel. Busy Road. Unclean rooms. This may sound harsh, but when you say you're 5, that's the bench mark you're rated against and sadly it's not 5. A pleasant stay, just not 5 🌟
( A 5 star breakfast = yes)
