My family and I spent a lovely time in this resort. We were 5 adults, a 3 year old and a baby. Everything was catered for us. Lovely buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh fruits and salads. Many choices of hot dishes and deserts. Besides that there were choices of snacks and drinks the whole day in more than 5 different spots in the resort. The employees were very polite and attentive. The whole place was very clean. There were many staff serving, cleaning and entertaining the whole day. We would spend our days next to the pool or the beach. The sea is very clear and calm.
It was a very relaxing holiday and I recommend it for others with small children.

The staff at Amada Colossos Resort Hotel are exceptionally polite and professional, always smiling and willing to help, making you feel right at home.
Our room was clean, and housekeeping was excellent. With the ultra all-inclusive package, we enjoyed free access to the restaurant, drinks, and snacks. The buffet for all meals offered a good variety of food, desserts, and fruit. Even after checkout, we had access to the restaurant and facilities until our flight.
The pool is extremely clean, and the beach is just in front of the hotel. The gym, available from 8:00 to 20:00, has a reasonable variety of equipment. There is live music at the pool twice a day, plus a kids room and a water park.
In May (week 21), the weather was pleasant, with a maximum temperature of 30°C. We were pleasantly surprised with a birthday cake for my wife.
I highly recommend this hotel for a luxury holiday in Rhodes. To save money, consider booking out of high season. Our 1-week stay for 2 adults and one child cost about 2600 euros in May, compared to 5200 euros in July.
There is much more to say about the hotel, but the review would be too long.

I wanted to tell about our most enjoyable holiday we had at the hotel. We visited at the end of June with parents and grandchildren. There was no time for boring. Activity at the water park was all we needed for the day. The entertainment in the evenings was nice. The food at all stations on the property was very good. Drinks never missing.
I specially recommend the Italian restaurant, with the most delightful service by Christina and Nikoz. We had a wonderful last dinner of our holiday. I am sure we will come again .
The management of this large hotel with pools and restaurants was impressive. We did not feel crowded anywhere, no long lines to wait. And all the time everybody was friendly.

I have stayed here with my wife and this was amazing. The people who work here are really trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The buffet is everyday different with the insurance that there’s always a variety of chicken, beef, pork and even vegetarian. Furthermore you have enough bars where you can have your drinks or enjoy a snack. During our stay we had the possibility to choose between the 3 different a la cart restaurants. This made the food experience even better.
Beside the normal stay we also had an extra request. My wife is pregnant at the moment and we really wanted to reveal the gender on the beach. Before we went on vacation we contacted the hotel and the event department contacted us back. From there on they did everything to provide us the information and possibilities. We are really amazed about the hospitality and service, since we weren’t even there yet. The day of the reveal was so special and gave us an even more beautiful stay at this amazing hotel.

Plus:
Very nice, clean, well maintained hotel
Good food, nice selection, great meat, good desserts
Good aquaparks, with slides interesting for 6 year old who is not allowed to the adult slides
Good organization in the restaurant
Good location, close to markets (walking distance), villages
Room for improvement:
No playroom inside. There is kids club, but parents are not allowed (like in the kindergarten as it was explained)
Non water playground is in aquapark which closes at 5pm. It would be perfect in the evening
Adult slides are not open in the same time, so lines are longer
Fighting for sunbeds. We had to reserve them at 7 because at 8 all were taken. Staff told us they cant do anything about it, when at 8:20 we had no sunbed with 2 impatient kids
Not many activities for kids. Mini disco starts at 8:30pm (late for our 6 years old)
Clock at the pool would be super useful
Plumbing problems - bed smell between restaurant and pool kids area
