My stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Rhodes. The location is truly excellent, striking a perfect balance between accessibility and scenic beauty. Getting to and from the airport was a breeze, taking only about 20 minutes, which is a huge plus after a long flight. Even better, the vibrant Rhodes Town is just a quick 15-minute drive away, making it incredibly convenient to explore its historical sites, shops, and restaurants. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the magnificent views from the room. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery each morning was a real treat. Beyond the views, the food at the hotel was superb. There was a wonderful variety, and every meal was delicious. This hotel is an excellent choice for families with children, offering amenities and an atmosphere that caters well to their needs. However, I want to emphasize that it's also absolutely perfect for those without children – my experience was wonderful, and I enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing environment. Rhodes itself is an incredibly beautiful island, with so much to see and do. This hotel served as the perfect base for exploring its wonders. I genuinely look forward to returning to this hotel again someday.

Our family of four have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Amada Colossos Resort. Having read a lot of comments about a lot of guests getting sick/food poisoning in the weeks prior to our arrival, we were concerned before we arrived, but we fortunately had no issues during our stay and the hotel was generally kept clean and tidy. We had also read mixed reviews regarding the evening entertainment, but we found it a little disappointing for such a large 5 star rated hotel. The entertainment teams do their best, but I think the hotel management should look to improve the overall quality of entertainment in the evenings. A couple of the guys they had in as singers were decent. The only other issue was with the sun bed situation. The hotel policy is to remove towels from unattended sun beds before 10am, which we understand the reasons behind it. However, this meant that if you wanted sun beds together and in a decent location then we had to take it in turns to get up very early and stay with the sun beds until 10am. This meant getting down there between 6am and 7am on most mornings, which wasn’t ideal, but we could at least enjoy the sunrise and cooler start to the day. The majority of the staff were friendly and welcoming and did their best during busy times. We particularly enjoyed the crepes from the beach bar and iced coffees from the bar nearest the main restaurant. We managed to try all of the A La Carte restaurants and enjoyed each one. I particularly liked the Greek Taverna. It was our first visit to Rhodes and our overall experience was good and we would return to Rhodes again. The hotel is in a good location with only a 20 minute taxi from the airport and also from Rhodes Old Town, but this hotel should probably be rated 4 star based on our experience and value compared to other holidays.

Just had a week holiday here with the family. The food was better than expected, no issues with cleanliness or feeling ill. There are some themed restaurants that are very nice, plus you the buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner was a decent effort. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and water, and nice and cool. There's a TV but the main thing is you get your own private wifi in the room and it's a good speed, plus 40 mb/s. The pools and on-site water park are very nice, there's even a lazy river, but it's very packed, you need to be early to get a lounger. The resort is right by the sea, so you can obviously just hit the beach if you don't get a space. Cocktails and bar service was very good, you can get served fairly quickly usually, but spirit alcohol is definitely watered down. Some drinks you can pay extra for if you want the premium booze, but we never bothered. There's a shop on-site and a brilliant big water park just 15 minutes walk away. All told, we were quite satisfied with the entire experience. It's probably even better here in the quieter months.

Great hotel, food is first class and generally all cooked well. It is a large a busy hotel, so you have to like a bit of hassle and bustle. Only couple of annoying negatives, 1. Bathrooms all open plan, no door between bedroom and bathroom, only 3 loft for main hotel (2 for us as one broken), can have to wait 20 mins to get a lift. Overall a good resort, and would recommend

The hotell didn’t uphold their own rule that said ”it’s not allowed to reserve sunbeds by the pool”. Signs with text ”personal belongings will be removed from unattended sunbeds”, but still all sunbeds taken while only 30-40% of them were used from 07:30 to 17:00. This makes the complete overall impression of the stay very low. This is the main reason why you chose other hotels! (The otherwise great service from the staff does not make up for the fact above.)
