We are just finishing a 12-day stay at Amada Colossos with our 2-year-old son, and honestly – it’s been amazing. The hotel is spotlessly clean – you can really see how hard the housekeeping team works every day, and it makes a huge difference. The whole resort is very well maintained, and there’s great attention to detail everywhere, from the pools and restaurants to the rooms, which were spacious, modern, and comfortable. The main restaurant food was genuinely delicious, with lots of variety and always fresh. There’s also a big choice of soft drinks . Around the pools, you can grab tasty snacks during the day – also healthy ones. One thing that really stood out was the à la carte restaurants – Greek, Italian, Asian, and one with traditional Rhodian dishes. They all feel like proper restaurants with full menus, not just a themed corner of the buffet like in many other all-inclusive places. There’s always live music in the evenings, plus shows in the amphitheatre, which we really enjoyed. And if you’re travelling with kids – there are lots of attractions and activities for them, so they’re never bored. The staff throughout the hotel were super friendly, polite, and always helpful – you can tell they care, and they often go that extra mile to make things nice for the guests. Honestly, it’s really hard to find anything to complain about. We usually rely a lot on reviews when choosing a hotel, and in this case – Amada Colossos deserves even better ratings than it already has. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back. Truly recommended!

Stayed for 10 nights 14/06 - 24/06 2025. This hotel was a real disappointment, where to start! - The rooms are small and don’t have a separate bathroom, you get a glass door on the toilet which is not a self contained room the wall are only 2/3rds height so no privacy - Very strangely the glass doors are also in the toilets pool side giving zero privacy once again in a public setting with the added benefit of not having locks on the toilet doors wtf! - Some of the staff on reception are indifferent at best, you really don’t get that greek warmth which I’ve experienced so many times before elsewhere. We were given a room with a broken bed and even the room move was handled poorly. No apology given by reception staff. This is a “5 star” hotel with mdf boards under the mattress that are broken. - The hotel lifts are constantly broken with one out of action for almost all of our stay, queues to use the lifts are common - The Italian restaurant is ok but it’s really the same food as in the buffet served in a restaurant setting. On the subject of the buffet you feel like there is loads of choice on arrival but in reality there is a lot of bland food served up daily. I get they are feeding a lot of people but I’ve had much better at other all inclusive hotels. Service levels when in the main restaurant are poor, you get seated get one drinks order and don’t see anyone again - Perhaps the single worst thing about this hotel is the insane competition for sun loungers, you have to poolside for 0800 if you want a sun lounger . This could be easily solved by having enough sun beds across the pool / beach for the number of guests & having a booking system so you know you’ve got one and can chill out and not get up so early (it’s meant to be a holiday!) - Some areas of the hotel are tired, there is general poor attention to detail - an example being the Covid signs are still up 5 years on. It’s like nobody ever walks around the building with a critical eye. - The adults pool bar is under staffed (Thanos who works from 1000 until 1600ish is a great guy and works incredibly hard could do with help making drinks) often you’ll wait 15 mins to get a drink despite him working non stop Compared with other hotels in similar price brackets this is really a 3 star, no British guest I spoke to said they would return and all were annoyed by the sun bed situation.

A highly professional and respectful environment, paired with warm and friendly service, made our stay truly pleasant. The room was spotless with a stunning view, and both the buffet and the Italian restaurant offered excellent food and presentation. Highly recommended!! Definitely worth a visit!

Very good hotel, very clean, excellent staff, excellent food, amazing pool and nice beach. A central location with easy transport into town via taxis or frequent local bus services which provide a nice twenty odd minute trip into town. Will go back.

Beach Bar is an absolute gem! Huge shoutout to the amazing bartenders, Dimitris and George — these guys are truly the heart of the place. Super friendly, always smiling, and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The cocktails? Next level. You can tell they really know what they’re doing — every drink is made with care and tastes fantastic. If you’re looking for great vibes, awesome drinks, and the kindest bartenders around, this is the spot.
