This hotel was one of the nicest hotel experiences my family and I have had. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty and varied and the pools are wonderful. Many reviews on here bemoan the boring food, but that is categorically untrue. If you wish, you could have a different meal every day for an entire week and still have things left to try. The animation team, although mostly French, were polite, chatty and very accommodating to us Brits. Ignore other reviews to the contrary. My daughter took part in the Mini-club on a couple of occasions and loved it. The pools are very warm and beautifully clean, there was always a sunbed available with no issue and the walk to the beach is, although steep, perfectly manageable for most people. The beer is real San Miguel (not watered down) and is freely available. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are air conditioned and the shower was powerful enough. The only negatives I can suggest are that the rooms are a little dated and in need of a spruce up, the inclusive cocktails are arent great, and the hotel could benefit from a second bar in the evenings for guests who don't prefer the entertainment (which can be quite loud). I wouldn't bother with the My favourite club as it really doesn't seem worth it for what you get. My family and I would jump at the chance to go next year if we can!

Great hotel with all of the amenities and restaurants hotel is part of Hyatt group so you can’t go wrong. I definitely recommend this hotel, very friendly staff, delicious food, variety of alcoholic spirits, shame you only have one beer option San Miguel as part of the all inclusive deal. Amazing location, bus connectivity from airport takes about 2 hours costs about 10 euros, bus stops are in close proximity.

We went to Alua Village for a relaxing break, and got exactly that! The hotel is amazing, with lots to do/not do. The pool area is clean and we always found two beds in an area that was ok for us. The walk to the beach is good, and the beach itself is incredible, with some big waves! The restaurant food was varied and plentiful, and the theme nights were further variations on top of this. Snacks were available whenever we wanted them. Drinks were always available and a good variety and quality! In shirt, we will be going back and gir longer! Loved it!

I really enjoyed my stay, it is safe to say this was my favourite all inclusive holiday so far. The staff were very friendly, food was nice and fresh with plenty of choice, drinks served quickly at all bars - a token system is in place in the pool bars where you swap a token for a drink and then just return your cup and get a new drink, which meant that people were returning their cups instead of leaving them around the pool. The main bar upstairs did not require a token. The entertainment team did not bother those who did not want to participate in activities, they spoke French, English and Spanish. Music was playing by the smaller pool and there were quiet areas for those waning to read a book. There were always free loungers by the pool and seats in bar and restaurant. No wait, no need to remember your room number or show a room card or bracelet at the entrance to the restaurant. All drinks at lunch and dinner time were self service with wine bottles sat in an ice bucket and San Miguel beer on tap to help yourself which we liked as there was no need to flag a waiter to get another drink. Gluten free cereal available at breakfast and gf bread available all day. Beds were very comfortable, mini fridge was in the room. Rooms were cleaned daily and cleaning was of good standard. The shared areas were very clean, staff were consistently sweeping and mopping, pool was cleaned in the morning and gardeners were working everyday on the hotel grounds. The only negative was that our room had some visible wear and tear i.e. corners of some furniture and paint flaking off in the bathroom. It would be nice if he room was more recently renovated. However, these are minor things and the room was clean and the patio area was nice with table, chairs and a built in extendable clothes airer. The hotel has free luggage room next to reception. There is a large supermarket 5 mins walk away and a bus stop close to the entrance. There is a direct path to the beach which we did not find steep like other comments suggest but it is not flat either. All in all it was a very nice stay and I would happily return.

4 stars for room because bathroom needs some work. Was visible rust stains and peeling paint. Room was looking perfect, new furniture, tidy. Personel in the hotel was nice and always helpful. Great animations. Food very nice. Every evening was different topic of dinner. Hotel is located close to the beach. If you need some shopping, superstore is also close. I spend very nice time in this hotel and I can highly recommend 👌🏼
