Very spacious and clean. The room has air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a kettle, and room service replenishes the tea, coffee, and sugar daily. There's also a TV, so you can watch movies, TV series, and various programs in Spanish) A spacious terrace with a table, chairs, and a clothes dryer is a wonderful place to relax in the evening. Even though we only had breakfast, I can confidently say the food was delicious and varied. There were a variety of baked goods, fruits, vegetables, about six types of cheese and sausage, omelets in various preparations, baked vegetables and potatoes, an English breakfast, cereals and yogurts, tea, coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, and much more. The hotel also has a restaurant, which is incredibly delicious and has very friendly staff. We ate there several times and tried almost everything on the menu; I highly recommend it! There's also a nice bonus for hotel guests: a 10% discount on the entire menu. It was also a delight when, on our last evening during dinner, the chef personally came out to us and served us dessert as a gift and thanked us for choosing their hotel and restaurant ☺️ A wonderful beach with volcanic sand is just five minutes from the hotel. The surrounding views are incredibly beautiful, and there's a promenade for strolls. There's also a huge number of restaurants and cafes with incredibly delicious food and very nice people☺️ I highly recommend visiting this place 🫶🏻

We stayed at the Alua for the first time, previously we stayed at the Alua Soul that sits above. We did appreciate not having to walk up a gradient each day by staying at the Alua, as it sits on the bottom of the hill! The rooms were comparable, and everything was clean. Front desk was extremely nice and efficient. As a Hyatt Globalist, they upgraded my rooms and gave us access to My Favourite Club, which was very appreciated. The manager also treated us to dinner at Enyesque, where we were served by the wonderful Thomas, and the food was amazingly good. Next time I come back I will have the difficult decision as to which Alua to stay at, as both are so very nice and amazing value.

We booked AI for 10nights sep 25. I went with my friend, step-dad and 5yr old son. The hotel itself is beautiful and I would say is a great hotel for adults and couples. The rooms were very spacious with lots of cupboard space and very modern looking too (we had a double room with a pool view). Beds were super comfy and the hotel was very quiet through the night. The food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. Staff were both polite and professional at all times. One member of staff who was part of the entertainment team (Yanira) really stood out to us as did Jose who I think was one of the bar managers. It was my friends birthday while we were there and yanira went above and beyond to make it extra special for her. The entertainment itself was decent and the entertainment staff really pulled it out the bag in the last few days before we left. The hotel is in a quieter area of Tenerife which meant you're avoiding any of the rowdiness that can come from busier areas. The beach was a short walk away as was loro parque which I highly recommend. The only reason that I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is there wasn't enough entertainment for my little boy. Had he had other siblings or a friend with him then this would have been ok. He loved the pool which wasn't too cold but was getting a bit bored by the end of the holiday. There was a kids club advertised but we never saw this open which was a shame as it looked good from the outside. We didn't question why it wasn't opened. Despite this I would come back to this hotel with my son. I would have more excursions etc arranged to entertain him. As a side note the heated pool that is advertised isn't included in the AI. I'm not sure if this is common knowledge or not. To conclude I would defo return and would defo recommend this hotel to adults and couples.

Great hotel if you are looking for a peaceful time in Tenerife. The North is not super touristic, so there's not that much to do in the area. We rented a car to visit the South for Siam Park, Siam Mall and Jet Ski safari, and also to visit the mountain and Santa Cruz. Animation was lacking. Not that I cared about that as adult, but for families with children I can imagine it's a disappointment. It was also very heavily focused on Spanish and French visitors. Food quality/taste was good, but not that many options. Drinks nothing to complain about, plenty of options. Hotel itself was clean, recently renovated, has a gym (free), beautiful entrance, good sizeable rooms with daily cleaning. Staff spoke decent amount of English. Check-in process went a little rough, due to computer issues on their end, but check-out was literally a minute. Close to the beach, even though it's a rocky beach. The waves were nice and high, which made it very entertaining. For the price we paid it was a very good hotel: 4/5.

Great hotel. Clean, well finished and always tidy. The facilities are great. The pool areas are lovely and there are plenty of sun beds. The food was good to great, fresh and well presented. The rooms are basic but but nice and are all you need. (I had a 2nd floor double.) On top of it all is the Vertigo rooftop bar which is really cool and well worth visiting.
